As promised towards the end of last year, the 'Master Your Adventure Maker Set' is now available as part of the LEGO Super Mario range.
This new set lets you expand your collection with new enemies like Larry Koopa, and also allows players to get creative with Customisation Blocks.
Enhance your LEGO Super Mario experience and create unique levels with this Maker Set! Choose rewards for LEGO Mario (figure not included) with the Customization Time Block and Customization Item Blocks. Build new challenges and introduce Larry and a Goomba, Bob-omb and Koopa Paratroopa to the play. Add the Special Pipe: Dash 30 and try to finish your level in 30 seconds to win more coins!
If you're interested, you can go ahead and buy the set from LEGO's official store right here. It'll set you back $59.99, but as we already know, collecting LEGO Mario toys is an expensive business.
Have you been enjoying the LEGO Mario range? Will you be adding this set to the collection? Let us know in the comments.

My kids love Legos and Mario. But these sets look so boring and bare bones.
Hmph. The lego set looks nice and all but it would be more enjoyable if ya boy, Captain Toad is on it.
Can't wait for the Hotel Mario Lego Set!
Nintendo doesn't make AAA games but lego mario sets.
They are aiming at somewhat older people in this ad...
Larry is/was my favourite Koopaling. I used to draw him everywhere.
I really love LEGO, but this is a complete rip off... It's a hefty price tag for this small amount of blocks... Unfortunately, this is LEGO strategy since some years. That's how they push customers in the arms of competitors, especially since many of their blocks are not protected anymore and other brands are legally allowed to produce LEGO compatible products...
And there's three new poison-themed sets: One where you wiggle a Wiggler, one where you steal red coins from Piranha Plants, and one where you smash a Chain Chomp's head. Good times.
These sets look so boring.
My 7 year old has been enjoying his Mario sets a bunch (and so has his 5 year old sibling). I agree that the sets themselves are pretty bare-boned (especially considering the price). The nice thing about LEGO though, is that if you have extra pieces, you can dress up the Mario sets a bunch. My kid hasn't felt the need to do this yet (which I wouldn't expect at his age).
They are nice. Just wish they weren't so darn expensive. Though it's nice that the sets come in a range of sizes and prices. We've been going with the small to medium sets.
They need to include mario in more than 1 set. Otherwise, i love it
My kid loves these. I think they look "bare-bones" because they aren't display sets. These are more like a buildable board game where you rearrange the components and such. The only set I felt was too expensive was the base Mario set, but he has enough tech in him that I get it now.
This has been available for a while now
For me, the 40 yrs old who build from Lego a lot, there is too little play in all this. Add something to the app that collecting coins will make same initiative.
All that and only 58 coins? xD
I paid full price for the starter set, but buy what expansions I can find discounted. So far I grabbed Marios house, the pirhana slide, and whomp drop for 24 each, as well as the pokey desert one and thwomp one for 16.
I guess I am one of thr few people who actually find that a pretty good price.
I thought the sets were terrible at first, but my son loves them, I've grown to like them as well and they've got plenty of affordable sets for birthday gifts and such.
I think the concept/partnership with Lego is awesome but aside from the working TV one I really don’t like the character designs of these game ones.
@mazzel Lego compatible sets are legal like for 40 years now.
Expensive sets like this one is in part because licencing. There are much cheaper generic Lego sets... not that Lego was ever a cheap toy anyway.
@Zequio yeah the patent for the standard bricks is invalid for many years now, that's true. Anyway, at least in europe, they could successfully fight of competitors in court until 2010 maybe? But there was a game changing decision at that time that opened up the market in europe.
For the pricing: if it only would be because of the license fee... Check their current LEGO city series, where they introduce a new and very bad street system, which is only partly compatible with the old system and can hardly fit the cars/trucks that come with the system:
https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/city
And the pricing is very similar to the Nintendo set
Sure, LEGO was never cheap, but you always got a bang for your buck. My parents are not rich by any means, typical middle class income. Still, they could afford LEGO for birthdays and Christmas for 3 kids (my sister was more the Barbie- type, though). And I'm not talking about a small box with just one figure and a generic car. We got electric trains, space stations and all that stuff, so.we.could build our own town and world. This would cost several 100$ by today's pricing
No way this is equivalent in price to BOTW. Definitely no from me.
