Awesome! This was one of my fav games from Wii U that I never finished .... Switch makes it soooooo much easier to actually play these games since you are not tethered to TV!
I tend to SAVE big releases for the holidays (xmas, bday, halloween) so I have time to work on the backlog (now that I finally finished Zedla BOTW) Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Thanksgiving Octopath Traveller - Bday in Spring 2018
This also helps if the game releases for a part of year don't interest me (i.e., pokemon this winter... meh).
I have no advice however for the torrent of high quality Nindies on eshop. I am totally drowning in AAA games on that front. (yeah.. quite a far cry from Wii U days... LOL)
@frogopus I would second Serenden as a great shooter that amazingly works as a rogue-lite. I am usually shy of randomly generated games, but Serenden and Dead Cells are very impressive.
I am so glad this year is slower because my backlog is staggering!! I am just now finally starting Zelda BOTW DLC after 165 hours! I finally finished my second most played game of Mario Rabbids and finished DK DLC after 60 hours. I am just happy to have a break to finish some games.
I have really enjoyed my time with this game. Great puzzles (just like captain toad... the chicken can't jump so it forces you to think creatively), and animation on the fat bomb laying chicken never gets old.
@BulbasaurusRex The game has a TON of detail and character in motion. Still motion doesn't do game justice. Their is actually a ton of animation on characters.
@JayJ As long as you have beaten world 1 and seen showdown between Rabbid Donkey Kong and Rabbid Peach... and you liked the strategy gameplay of MvR (I personally love the strategy gameplay of MvR... so much freedom of movement)... Get the DK DLC.
It is different due to DK movement from main game... but still the same ideas in new ways.
The difficulty is about perfect for expansion DLC... the end game of MvR is honestly pretty challenging. This requires thinking... but not throw controller across room challenge like some of end game boss fights. Good balance.
I loved the original Mario + Rabbids (second most played game on my Switch) and this DLC is outstanding for taking base game mechanics and changing them up with DK's mobility. The DK game world is just as fantastic and done with love as the main game. Well worth the wait!
Read this passage with a mindset of a cat chasing a laser dot...
What is the end of the world, however, is that this cursor is always on screen when you’re in a level. ....... so no matter what you’re doing you’re bothered by an irritating speck slowly wobbling around your field of view. It’s incredibly distracting ........ it’s always there, always annoying you.
Downloaded game post update and can confirm that update easy mode makes game very playable and enjoyable. Knight feels durable (he is made of stone right!) and responsive. Nice job 7 levels!
Just finished playing some of the game (I didn't play before update so can only compare to written reviews) and can confirm that the knight is responsive in actions, and on easy mode the difficulty is just right. Knight feels durable (though surprisingly nimble for swinging on ropes while being made of rock) and combat is fair.
Finally able to make progress in Wulverblade thanks to recent patch and beat boss brothers at end of world 2 after being stuck for 6 months. That felt good.
Finishing Bayonetta 2... working on Splatoon 2 single (prepare for octo expansion) and Plague Knight campaign (prepare for king knight expansion).
@fullyilly Thank you again for the update. I finally finished the two brothers bosses at end of level 2 after 6 months of being stuck on them. Yay for checkpoints!
@7Levels Thank you for listening to community feedback and improving the core game while making it accessible to those gamers who are time-limited and want an easy-casual mode. Downloading now.
@fullyilly Really enjoying the game post-update! Thank you for making the game more accessible for us "older" gamers. Really glad that I have checkpoints before the bosses so I can retry them easier. Thank you! Great update!
Thank you so much for the Easy mode for those of us without the mad skills to do the challenge and limited time to invest in games. I am so excited to be able to see the story to the end and have been stuck on level 2 boss for 6+ months!! Thank you as I love the art style and gameplay of Wulverblade.
I am really excited for this new content and ... we don't have to use MARIO in every single party layout! Yes!!!
Great job on Ubisoft on actually making DLC AFTER the game is finished and shipped... no one can say that this was held back on purpose given long development cycle. Nice work releasing real DLC!!
Wife is at a modeling gig all weekend... so.... bring on the mature violent games on big screen TV! Doom (both game and pinball) Bayonetta 2 Layers of Fear Little Nightmares
It is only $20 a year!! That is a bargain compared to Xbox Live and PS subscriptions at $60.
Free online forever is unrealistic (servers cost money).
My issue is that I only play local co-op or single adventure games... should I cough up $20 for cloud storage... hmmm.... 150 hours of zelda botw... DARNIT ... probably will. LOL. Again... only $20 a year.
Switch backlog is absolutely staggering... yay for Summer coming up and I might finally have time to hit that backlog of epic Nindie games....
... going to make progress on Gerudo Divine beast on ZELDA BOTW... final push in Bayonetta 2 (love that I can unlock chain chomp with amiibo)... and DKTF!!
@EvilLucario The Switch really is an amazing product because it is so flexible with how it fits into our lives. You use it for TV mode primarily, I use it 50% tabletop and 30% TV and 20% handheld, while my Sister has yet to plug the switch dock into a TV at all.

No, the Switches library is just that darn good. A far cry from the Wii U days and only 1-2 releases on eshop per week.

Of course it is! It is PORTABLE!

Don't blow up keiko's cat unless need last unblockable hit. It regenerates after every match.
Re: Review: Pocket Rumble (Switch eShop)
Fun fighting game. I like how diverse the characters are. I settled on the zombie subject 11 for his throws.
June is definitely top tier with her zoning. Even just the CPU was brutal.
Re: Review: Pocket Rumble (Switch eShop)
Great diversity of characters. I like the ghost girl.
Does anyone know how to replace the kitty once you explode it with hitting both buttons?
