Re: Mario Kart 8 Limited Edition Software Bundle Coming To North America

GrayMoon

Great. Now can you please say 'Mario Kart 8 preorders come with a free Wii Remote Plus' or 'Mario Kart 8 comes bundled with a Wii Remote Plus'? Why is it that the games I have little interest in come with a WR+ but not the games I am interested in? What if some comes over and wants to play with me? I'll only have one WR+!

Re: Nintendo Quashes Rumours Of New Hardware At E3 2014

GrayMoon

I still would've liked a 3DS+ or something where it could have HD and can stream to Wii U have more processing power or another Wii U package containing 500GB storage space. I would say "a more powerful Wii U" but if they did that, I would feel like I shot myself in the foot especially since my games are tied to the system hardware.

Re: Ubisoft Now "Fully Focused" On Making The Wii U Version Of Watch_Dogs "The Best It Can Be"

GrayMoon

I know I'm speaking common sense but hear me out:

1) Wouldn't it had made sense to put more people on the Wii U dev team and delayed the other versions?

2) Wouldn't delaying the Wii U version undoubtedly ensure its failure due to people already owning it on other consoles and killing hype?

3) Shouldn't they have canned the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions due to the game coming out on their successors?

4) Shouldn't development have started on the Wii U version first seeing as its architecture is different from the two?

5) Do they really think Wii U owners will stand for this backhanded treatment?

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st May (North America)

GrayMoon

Well, I guess if I had eShop cred, I would get Stick It to The Man plus some of the games I've missed over the past few weeks. If I had actual money, I'd get SMT IV at retail, MGolf at retail, and Kirby 3D at retail.

Re: Satoru Iwata Speaks Of The Need To "Redefine" Nintendo's Position In The Entertainment Industry

GrayMoon

People fail to realize; Nintendo wasn't always a video game company. It was an entertainment company that first began making toys and cards. I just see this as him saying, "Yeah, we make video games, but we're also going back to our roots as a entertainment company." and people basically saying, "What? That's stupid. You make video games. Don't do this. Keep making only video games." I don't see people telling Microsoft to stop making Windows and Office and focus on Xbox or telling Sony to stop making TVs and cameras and focus on Playstation.

Re: Nintendo To Market Mario Kart 8 Through The End Of The Year

GrayMoon

@kuribo4
Plus, if it wasn't for Mario Kart, All Stars Racing wouldn't exist. Really, transforming vehicles? The stole that from Mario Kart 7 and Diddy Kong Racing. Then when it came out [All Stars Racing Transformed], people said Nintendo could learn from SEGA when SEGA was the one who learned from Nintendo.

Re: Miiverse Update Imposes Restrictions on Posting Comments

GrayMoon

I approve. Miiverse isn't meant to be a chatroom. It was meant for people to share empathy on shared Video Game topics, not RP'ing or dating or whatever else. Besides, if you want to talk about something that isn't game-related or about other things, there's always the Messages tab.

Spammers, too.

Re: Rumour: Mario Kart 8 Wii U Hardware Bundle On The Way

GrayMoon

That box art seems legit, though... The PEGI rating means it's UK, so I'll wait 'n see if NinEU announces this because usually NinUS follows suit.

EDIT: Wait, the Mario Kart 8 case is supposed to be RED (unless it's blue in EU). This seems REAL suspicious now.

Re: Vita Overtakes 3DS in Tough Week for Japanese Charts

GrayMoon

...You made it seem like the Vita is winning with your article title when it's just, in fact, gaining speed desperately trying to catch up. Just because 3DS lost speed doesn't mean the Vita is winning. The 3DS already overlapped the Vita! Come back when the LIFETIME sales overtake the 3DS.

Re: Nintendo Provides Some Context to 2013's Tomodachi Life Same-Sex Marriage Controversy

GrayMoon

@zeldagaymer93
I keep forgetting Sims. ^_^; But I do mean it when I say that parents most likely DON'T want their kids being exposed to that and it's undoubtedly the parents paying for the games for smaller children. It's their own problem if they find same-sex relationships 'unethical'. I for one (and I bet a lot of people here agree) don't really care if it was put in. It IS a simulation game and it IS to a point simulating reality. Some people can't handle that same-sex is reality. Like I said, that's their problem.

Re: Nintendo Releases An Awesome Mario Kart Infographic

GrayMoon

Well, Mario Kart 7 was named so because of the Lucky Seven item. Mario Kart 8 was named so because of the Mobius strip. What would the ninth one be called? I want to here your responses!

My guess is Mario Kart Fusion, referring to the rumoured Fusion device.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Major Wii U Retail Titles Can Benefit From More eShop Trials and Demos

GrayMoon

To be fair, Nintendo never releases their big IP as demos or F2P*. The Wii Collection wasn't as big as Mario** or Donkey Kong Country, which is why we have Wii Sports Club and Wii Fit U. I wouldn't be surprised if they put Wii Party U up as a demo/F2P.

*For Nintendo, this means download for free and use limited things with the option to pay for the upgrade to full version, as seen in Steel Diver: Sub Wars.
**Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is made by Sega with the use of Nintendo's IPs. Nintendo themselves did not make it, which is why a London 2012 demo is on the eShop.
