Re: Activision's Bobby Kotick Is Disappointed With The Launch Of The Wii U

GrayMoon

@K1LLEGAL

I think @cornishlee is trying to say is that Bobby expected Nintendo to have kids down flat but Nintendo wasn't targeting kids. Nintendo was going for the well-rounded approach rather than the family-friendly approach. Remember, "the console is tailor-made just for you" while the Wii is "fun for the entire family". I'm pretty sure Reggie said that.

Re: You Can't Use Your Wii Virtual Console Saves With the Wii U Virtual Console

GrayMoon

Is everyone forgetting that the Wii and Wii U are like two different computers? The Virtual Console data on the Wii Mode is stored in the Wii Mode "hard drive" while the ones on the native Wii U are store on it's "hard drive". Transferring the data would be like transferring from a computer to a laptop without USB Flash Drive, USB HDD, or SD Card.

@Phillip_J_Reed You've been lost me when you made countless comparisons to Cave Story. You even said it yourself; Cave Story came AFTER this. Comparing Cave Story to Ikachan makes sense; comparing Ikachan to Cave Story does not.

Re: Wii to Wii U Data Transfer Details Emerge

@Sun Actually, you could choose to copy all or Sound/Photo/DSiWare individually. You could even choose which DSiWare to transfer. I assume you got this mixed with 3DS to 3DS transfer, in which case you would be correct.

nintendo should take advice where needed and make a super mairo world 2 (real one) with the same graphics as smw1, i would buy it day 1

Yoshi's Island is Super Mario World 2, so says Iwata. All other Yoshi Island games aren't Super Mario World successors, though.

Re: Nintendo: Phones And Tablets Aren't Games Devices

Why don't you like Super Mario Sunshine and Super Paper Mario, @Reala ? I mean, I loved running around with the Turbo Nozzle and Super Paper Mario was so reminiscent of Super Mario Bros. I can't see any reason to not like it.

...Unless you are one of the 5% that doesn't like them because of F.L.U.D.D. and the removal of turn-based battles.

Re: Nintendo Unveils 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro

GrayMoon

Ai-yai-yai. When people see "Circle Pad Pro", all they see is the circle pad. How about you think about the ZL/ZR buttons, losers. Because if Nintendo built CCP in, it would still be bulky with the 2nd shoulder buttons.

I love you CCP, with your circle pad AND your Z-triggers.
