@The_Pixel_King yeah, not every cross-platform game developer can put the money into optimising for a low-wattage tablet chip from 2015 in 2023 if the sales figures are never likely to justify it
there are a shortage of these sort of games on the switch
only one that I can think of being similar is "Battle Planet - judgement day" can anyone think of anything similar that is decent?
The OOT ship of Harkinian port is amazing because you have right-stick camera which is a complete game-changer (along with increased fps, anti-aliasing etc etc)
@bluemage1989 well it's like $60 in the US for the game so $4000 is like less than 70 copies of the game. For a game that will sell at least 1 million copies - not so much.
Iron Crypticle is a brilliant twin-stick shooter with endless and a sort of rpg rogue lite mode also. Excellent risk-reward combo item collection system too.
Hopefully "The Outer Wilds" will be announced as being available immediately tomorrow. "Aeterna Noctis" is due out tomorrow and is a 50+ hour metroidvania in the vein of "Hollow Knight". Seems to be going under the radar a bit.
The Outer Worlds has a lot of open area spaces which is more demanding. It would quite the achievement to get this running at more stable near-30 fps with more palatable detail. Let's see this Wednesday ...

@marcelominucelli no more updates. last update was 7 months ago.
Re: Rumour: Metal Gear Solid 4, 5, and Peace Walker May Be Included In Vol. 2 Collection
@StarPoint it actually ran well on old 2015 laptop cpu integrated intel graphics so a switch could handle it no issue
Re: Review: Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! - Bubbles Over With Charm (And Useless Bots)
@Agent_P Bubble Bobble practically invented multiplayer tbh. There is a Den of Geek article that puports that it's the greatest Co-op Video Game Ever Made and they may well be right. Although wasn't always a Co-op experience lol!

@The_Pixel_King Like especially Nintendo themselves - possible the worst offender.
Re: Random: Zelda Super Fans Are Already Queuing Outside Nintendo's Store For Tears Of The Kingdom
Vlogging queuing is surely to be considered utterly pointless.
Re: Frogun Encore Leaps Onto Switch This Summer With More N64-Inspired Platforming
@Drac_Mazoku agree. controls just didn't feel right.

"Unavowed" is a very shocking omission.
Up there with the best if not the best.
Re: Cel-Shaded Twin-Stick Shooter 'Dust & Neon' Saddles Up On Switch Next Week

Re: Aeterna Noctis Follow-Up, Summum Aeterna, Slashes Onto Switch Late 2023
@Neckcrane I read that it's not even a constant 30 fps on the switch - for a game that hard that's not a runner.

Blowing into a microphone is the dumbest and most inconsistent gimmick ever seen in a significant game series.
