Doesn’t seem like there is much love put into this one. Even worse than the past couple of gens which is sad.
They’re cutting Pokémon and to cover their butts over the backlash, they said the reason was to improve the Pokémon animations, which has been disproven by videos that show they are exact copies. No triples, no rotation, megas removed for a lamer OP gimmick, So really we are just getting less all around. :/

Eh, really just the beginning with the regular bokoblins and jelly enemies seems like a copy. If they weren’t there, then I wouldnt think it copies much.

Have this game on my radar. It looks really pretty and I’ve heard good things about the series.

I haven’t bought any Joycon because I’ve been waiting for them to fix the drift issue.

Must be something else in your case then. I’ve heard that the quality of material, or the design of the sticks isn’t very good. Could be that issue for you.
With mine if I blow inside the sticks from every angle, it will temporarily stop. But it always comes back.

And over time there will be a buildup of dust and etc. This is because the design is open and unprotected at the base of the stick. if only they chose a ball like design at the base of the sticks like the pro controllers and GameCube controllers have, then there wouldn’t be a big issue.

I’m glad this blew up to where they needed to address it. Maybe something will come out of this. Fixing the drift issue has needed to happen since launch. Hopefully they will update future Joycon so I can finally buy more.

There is a reason that Nintendo has and receives infinitely more of those types of games than Xbox does.

They just need to NOT exclusively release it on the Dudebro pew pew console (AKA Xbox).

Then it will sell well.

Most Xbox gamers just don’t appreciate Banjo type games like Nintendo fans do. You could see it in all of the cookie cutter edgy games they showed off at the Xbox E3 presentation this year. That is their audience and who the primarily cater to.

They ARE reusing the 3ds models. This video dug into the issue. The interview was MISTRANSLATED, and they tested the models which were proven to be the EXACT SAME as the 3ds ones.

If they made it more obvious that they were based on the N64, then I would pick them up. It doesn’t even have the N64 logo anywhere on it.

Actually that’s exactly what I’m wanting. A *New*3ds type of Switch model rather than stripped away 2ds type of Switch model.

it says Mini Switch 2. Does that mean there may be a regular Switch 2? Aka Switch Pro? Same size but screen size extended over the black borders the current model has?

The 3ds pretty much got one with the *New*3DS. Completely possible for the Switch to receive one at some point as well.

Wish it was a Switch Pro instead. I have no need for a smaller budget Switch that does less than the base model that I already own.

Needed to happen. I just wish it happened sooner.
3ds is very much showing it’s age with its 240p screen. certain “remakes” like Luigi’s Mansion 1 got put on the 3ds near the end, and turned out looking worse than the original which felt like such a waste.
Games like that had one shot at a remake, and it got wasted on an outdated handheld, when instead they could have been brought to Switch and actually had improvements made.

Nice, but companies shouldn’t be making them in, nor supporting concentration camp China. Screw that country and the atrocities they enact on the people.

I hope this one has a darker tone and atmosphere like Majora’s Mask to differentiate it from BOTW.
We didn’t really have much as far as the undead goes, and there wasn’t much in the way of places like the OoT Well, Shadow temple, MM cemetery, Ikana canyon and etc.
Not having any places like that in BOTW was disappointing for me because I love it when Zelda gets dark.

Warriors games are best played if you already have nostalgia and attachement to characters of the said series. For instance Hyrule Warriors is fan service for Zelda fans who have already played the games and have wanted to play as more characters than just Link.
Persona 5 not coming to Switch before the Warriors game is a bit of a mistake imo.

Kind of wish an upgraded model was coming out first. I already have a Switch and don't have a reason to get worse one. Only reason I would get another is if they come out with a Switch Pro type model.

That's too bad the better one is delayed. Not really interested in a lower quality budget Switch. No reason for me to get one as I already have an OG better model.

@Trajan Link to the Past would be nice, but I actually have that one on my N3DS. I'm hoping the most for purchaseable N64 and GameCube games on Switch since there aren't many games from those systems that can be played portably. Don't want them to be part of the "rent only" structure now that we finally have a powerful enough portable console to run them.

Yep everything fails eventually for sure. Just want longer term access than a shorter one.

@Trajan You mean "IF" (and that's a big IF). Never had that issue with any of the games I've owned. Switch Online WILL be discontinued at some point. My game getting corrupted however is not a certainty, or even very likely based on past experience.
