Decided to get PS4 Pro version for 4K with near perfect 60fps.

Hopefully, Doom 64 is next and Switch will have no visual compromises.

Always consider Switch for multi-plats, but I don't want to compromise much.

Probability is nice and all, but base Switch has poor battery life anyway.

These new ports of Doom 1&2 are shoddy and incomplete.

Purchased Doom Classic Complete (PS3) years ago and this is no upgrade.

Sadly, the better last gen ports of these games are getting delisted now.

Distracted by DRM, no one is watching as best console versions slip away.

This game has given the Switch a huge black eye.

It only takes a few of these turkeys to spook the crowd.

Sony and MS must be breathing a huge sigh of relief now.

The Switch has been on a huge run till these crap ports spilled out.

That and the hot trend to release a game that's not fully on the cart...

You might be thinking of the Master Levels.

Final Doom is (two new 32 level bundles) made by Id in Doom 2 engine.

It was sold separately as it's own game for PC and later on PS1.

For many people who played Doom 1&2 already, Final Doom is a blast.

This score is far too generous (8, Great).

Digital Foundry evaluation was brutal and critical.

They raise issues with the graphics, sound effects, and the music.

So basically the whole game/port is fairly shoddy and unfinished.

What's more, the PS3 Doom Complete actually had more content:

Original Doom (w/ bonus episode), Doom 2, and Final Doom.

Final Doom had two new games TNT (32 levels) and Plutonium (32 levels).

This botched port (with less content and more DRM) is no upgrade.

I was initially excited about Doom on Switch, but that's faded now.

The battery life of basic Switch is really poor.

So, yea, I'm feeling really scammed right now.

This new lower-voltage Switch is the one they should have sold initially.

Now we all have to pay the price for Nintendo's penny-pinching.

The only bright side is that the old unit can be hacked (?).

But, I wish he had compared to GC w/GBA player too.

I'm using GC w/GBA player, but I need to track down a component cable.

I use my actual GC games in Wii because that 480p cable is much cheaper.

I wish every pricey last-gen games would get remastered.

This is a smart play for Sony.

When PSVR came out, it was compared to pricey PC solutions.

Those comparisons weren't very favorable for Sony at all.

MS talked about getting into VR, but then backed away.

Sony was ghosted by MS and showed up at the console VR party alone.

When PSVR didn't set the world on fire, there were whispers of failure.

Now Nintendo is finally getting into VR and this time the comparisons to PSVR will be very favorable for Sony.

Sony is probably thrilled about Labo VR...

I was recently burned by the MegaMan collections.

The 1st one only has 300MB on the cart and you must DL 3GB.

The 2nd one has 3GB on the cart and you must DL 6GB.

These two 'physical' release cost me nearly 10GB of system memory.

No one has yet addressed how you keep this on your head.

If this is just binoculars, than it's basically just a party trick.

You can't really play while holding this thing on your face...

This feels more like a quick tech demo for testing the VR waters

Nintendo Online gives you a growing set of NES/SNES games too.

These retro consoles TV games are potentially on the outs (?).

Unless you hack these things (like PSX), it's not really worth it.

This was just on sale last week on PS4 for $5.

I bought it and started playing co-op with my son.

The game is pretty good, lot of tricky puzzles.

No 3D, no sale, no point.

I was hoping they would patch 3D into Minecraft too, but that never happened so it's a hard pass.

They really should provide 3D (at least) on the New 3DS, that would be a selling point for the system if most of the newer games had 3D on it (due to more CPU).

So are they still doing Crossplay with Xbox login on Switch?

I think I paid $34 after Christmas...

But my Son played the crap out it and enjoy the game.

Free update sounds good, we already bought a bunch of extra weapons.

He played the entire game as Star Fox & was using using tricked out Arwing.

No 3D, no sale.

Similar to Minecraft and other recent games.

I didn't pay alot for this game (2/$20 at GameStop)...

But the lack of 3D is a real bummer, there's no disclaimer on box.

Nowhere does it say 'Playable in 2D' on the cover like others titles.

On the back, there's even a 3D warning (!). This is some serious BS

Someone please tell me that these events increase the chance of Diablo Immortal being ported to Switch.

I'm interested in the game, but I will not play on a phone or tablet.

The game will not be essential per say, but it does get into some of the events between D2 and D3 (as I recall).

Enjoying my time with Switch version of Diablo Eternal.

Put one week into Season 15 and got a monster Barb in return.

Wrath of the Wastes set is ridiculous, whirlwind does like +3000% damage.

Never did seasons on PS4 because my characters were already established.

The Switch Loot Goblin is also OP, farming goblins in that realm is a blast.

Everytime Greed hits a wall, she drops a goblin. You can kill dozens.

I usually enter the Realm with empty inventory and leave nearly full:

Gems, crafting materials, millions in gold, Legendaries dropping everywhere.

Going to create second Barb to use level reduced gear & do Darkening Event.

Season 16 will be a Monk. This game is too much fun.

Was there a 3DS version with 3D effects?

That's a great deal, wish it was available when the game came out...

Already bought the game and those extra Joy-Cons cost a fortune.

I hope there's a Demo, I'd like to check this out without dropping $60.

Hope this release doesn't have gimped audio like Dark Souls.

One missed opportunity though is the bland Joy-Con controllers...

Diablo is all about the Eternal Conflict (Angels vs. Demons).

They could have done something like Hellfire Red & Angelic Gold for Joy-Cons.

This thing needs more color, even the bag is kinda drab...
