I think a very important point is that this is an online shooter wich probably feels more at home when playing in the newest console. It'd be different if we got a sequel on the Wii U just 2 years after the first game.

And I'm sure Nintendo will be treating this IP nicely after all the success it's had.

@BlatantlyHeroic Uh... No. The way Game Freak originally envisioned (main series) Pokémon games work best for handhelds. I can relate to that, since I've felt all those things they were looking to achieve with friends and family.

Now, a Stadium-like spin-off wouldn't hurt either, but I can live without it.

@PlywoodStick Yeah, it's not like Pokémon GO made consoles, games and merchandise go up like a few hundred percent. It's certainly not going to happen something similar with Mario and the NX.

I still like the mini NES a bit more, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to have both. 👀

The quality seems a lot higher than your average mobile game, if this works out well we could see even more brand awareness. Wich can translate to healthy NX sales. Wich means more games for us

@msvt Having to keep the gamepad on and close was the only thing I didn't like about the wiimote combo. Other than that, it's a really great control scheme and you should definitely try it!

Talking about the game itself, I think it's anything but frustrating. Without a doubt, one of my favorite Wii U games.

@msvt Did you play it with the wiimote + nunchuck? It's the best control scheme I've ever used in a console RTS game.

And this is the kind of effect Nintendo want its mobile games to have. It isn't just about the short term profits.

It's funny to see all these comments claiming what the Wii U should have been. I think it's pretty clear, and Nintendo knows that (it's been here more than 125 years after all), Reggie was just PRing a bit.

While these are all roumors, I like the sound of them. A handheld like console with greater power than Wii U sounds like a good thing to me.

I bet there are other stuff that'll make the NX more than just the hybrid we've been hearing about. It's Nintendo, I'm sure they'll surprise us with something else.
