We're sure you probably already know this and have already downloaded it to your 3DS console, but the demo for Pokémon Sun And Moon is now live on the 3DS eShop.
Our resident Pokémon fanatic Alex has already spent some time in the land of Alola and found it to be quite pleasant indeed. You can check out his impressions here.
Update: Following its arrival late morning in Europe, it's also definitely up in North America, too.
If you've already downloaded the demo, let us know your thoughts by posting a comment below.

Not yet finished it but my initial thoughts are very positive. The music is incredible!
Still waiting for the demo to come out in North America. Looks fun though.
is it out on NA
@hieveryone From what I can see, no.
I think it's supposed to come out at 7am Pacific time in North America. They said it in one of their videos on Nintendo's YouTube channel.
might want more put EU in the title. Sadly not here in NA yet
Nope, can't download it until after work. I temporarily Curse my ability to make money.
Just downloaded it! Something new to play before bed, yay!
As @Whopper744 said. Why don:t you add it's available only in Europe?
Where is the qr code to download it; without the lock.
Great !
I will get them after I am at home.
Next time make it clear it's Europe only so far.
@bmjy1000
I think that's the eShop symbol.
Oops, someone forgot about North America
I'll download it when I come home from school.
Still not out
What about NA? Oh I get it N/A yet.....
Europe only... please specify...
The demo just popped up on the NA eShop but it doesn't look like you can download it yet.
Available to download now!
Working central time zone!
can't wait to download at 2KB per second because of server overflow lol
WTH, specify the region in the post next time!
I'll download it as soon as I'm able! (In a couple of days...) I wish this hadn't dropped on my busiest week this month. Still, I can't wait to dig into it!
This demo sucks... Also, there is now no 3D effect what's so ever and the graphics are... well, grainy.
I'll still buy the full game though...
I don't understand the pokemon catching challenge. By the time it is reached Greeninja is so overpowered that it is impossible for me to use any move without the opponent fainting. How can I then catch them?
@polarbear Use Water Shuriken. Chances are, if it hits twice, the PokéMon will not have fainted yet. Anyways, you don't get to keep any caught PokéMon; if you catch 3, the guy will give you a Nugget, but then you release anything you caught, and return the remaining PokéBalls.
If you keep tapping B while walking, instead of holding it to run, your character will eventually stumble... It's really cute...
Played through the demo. Pretty fun! Great music and some enjoyable characters. It looked like a DS game, though :/. Blocky looking textures, and lots of jaggies on the edges of everything. Sadly (at least for me, anyway) no 3D support except during the Poké Finder segments. Colors looked really nice and the frame rate was smooth the majority of the time, playing on my N3DS XL. The full games should be a lot of fun. Looking forward to it.
