Had some fun with 18 on the Switch but I mostly bought it in the hope they would bring Madden and NHL too. That's not happening so looks like I'll need to reinstate my ps plus when PES comes out. Still wish Konami would wake up and release PES on Switch.

I've got the game on Switch and also had it day one on PS4. Not spent a single penny on in game transactions and have absolutely no desire to. It adds nothing to the game for me.

I only bought FIFA 18 in the hopes that EA would give the Switch real support. No Madden or NHL means no FIFA 19 for me.

So gutted. When I seen the PES picture next to the Nintendo Life logo I was hoping it was being announced for Switch. Why are you guys even reporting on this?

Just picked up Doom and Skyrim on the South African eshop for about 26 quid each.

@Latinomex01 There are literally no haters here, the game is great. Some people are having slight technical issues is all. You need to grow the F up.

@BenAV Just won a match 3 nil and got demoted. I guess there are still a few bugs to sort out.

@BenAV I've never had this happen. Lag is the only issue I've experienced.

Bamco not releasing FighterZ on Switch but they are developing MP4? Doesn't add up. I assume FighterZ will be coming if that's the case.

Finishing off Axiom Verge and Next Penelope. I'll be playing the usual MK8, Splatoon 2 and Rocket League at some point too. Anybody else been having really bad lag on Rocket League recently?

@OorWullie Yeah, you just pay money in to your Revolut account and use it like you would your normal bank card. I use it on the South African eshop all the time. It's just a virtual card.

@electrolite77 I got it free on Playstation plus and haven't spent a penny on it. I bought it on Switch and still haven't considered a micro transaction either. As you say, they are completely unobtrusive.

Despite being a PES only gamer since 2000, I was really looking forward to this on the Switch. Apart from not being able to invite a friend, I'm having an absolute blast playing it. I really struggled to find a pre order of the Switch version though, so I really have to question how much of a priority EA have placed on a game they've apparently put a lot of effort into.

@kobashi100 It's just EDF always being butt hurt because the Vita got ditched and people love the Switch.

Would prefer less Celtic related screenshots but a good review none the less.

It annoys me seeing really awful 1-2 Switch adverts in the UK but none for Pokken. It would sell really well if people knew it existed.

Good review, but the word you are looking for is addictive, not addicting. I'm aware that it's widely used in America, but it's simply wrong.

I've not owned a FIFA since 99 on the N64. I've mainly played PES on my friends playstations since then and more recently on my ps4. Konami still can't be bothered to put it on Nintendo so if this reviews well and has decent online, I think it'll get my money.

I can't play Mario Kart in handheld, my right hand is in pain after about two races but I certainly won't be modding my joycons. Table top mode with pro controller will have to do.

@SneakyStyle This isn't true at all. You can type any message you want in rocket league, although it does asterisk out swear words. This is easy to work around though.

May as well sell my ps4 now, as this is all I've played on it since the Switch released.

@BLP_Software I'm not sure why you're on here talking all nice about a Switch game when you've openly stated that you hope the Switch fails and dies as soon as possible.

I'm not reading 130 comments to see if they've been mentioned, but I doubt they have. If you want sports games, Pebble Beach Golf and Jimmy Connors Pro Tennis Tour were great. Jimmy being better than Super Tennis in my opinion.

@UK-Nintendo And you can ignore Nintendo Life posts until you stop being miserable. I get it, you're not happy. We all got that with every single thing you post. It's OK to post criticism, but it's boring on every single article.
