Re: Capcom Confirms That Monster Hunter's Live-Action Movie Adaptation Is Definitely Going Ahead

Flashman

Mortal Kombat - Crap
Event Horizon - Crap
Soldier - Crap
Resident Evil - Crap
Alien Vs Predator - Crap
Death Race - Crap
Resident Evil: Afterlife - Crap
The 3 Musketeers - Utterly Terrible
Resident Evil: Retribution - Crap
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter - Crap

I'm not holding out much hope on Monster Hunter. The Three Musketeers is possibly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Re: Review: Mario Tennis Aces (Switch)

Flashman

I was really enjoying this game until I got to the reflection room. Then the enjoyment turned into frustration which after a number of hours just turned into annoying. I am now thinking I will be trading it in for Crash Bandicoot at the end of next week.

Re: Poll: One Week On - How Do You Feel About the Nintendo Switch?

Flashman

I part exchanged my wii u and games to pickup Switch & Zelda. Not a big fan of the new Zelda but glad I got the switch because its stopping dust settling where my wii u used to be.

It likely won't get switched on again till Mario Kart gets released.

To be honest I really like the console I just wish there was something to play on it.

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)

Flashman

I have no idea why this game is scoring 10's. I picked it up with my switch yesterday morning and have played it most of the day but I am not enjoying anything about it at all. I am already tempted to part ex it for something else (which will leave my switch gathering dust till mario kart at the end of april).

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

Flashman

IGN have given it 6.7 out of 10

"As a handheld, the Switch is a powerful piece of hardware with a gorgeous screen, but it's too large and power hungry to feel like you can really take it anywhere. As a console, it’s underpowered, unreliable, and lacking basic features and conveniences that all of its competitors offer. It’s nicely built and cleverly designed to be used in a variety of ways, but the bottom line is that the Switch doesn’t do any one of the many things it can do without some sort of significant compromise. Our testing will continue for the next few days as we try out the online features and other functions enabled by the day-one patch, but if I had to score it now I’d give it a 6.7."

Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2015 - Q4 Edition

Flashman

There needed to be a box that says none on that survey. I have no interest in any of the upcoming titles. Still got Xenoblade to play on my 3DS and have played the last Mario Tennis game to death so not very interested in the next one. The only think I was looking forward to was Star Fox.

Re: E3 2014: Nintendo Life's E3 Reaction - Live!

Flashman

@JaxonH
Yep nothing on Xbox one/PS4 till end of october.... except

Destiny - 9th Sept
EA Sports UFC - 20 June
FIFA 15 - 15th Sept
Shadow Of Mordor - 7th Oct
Metro Redux - 29th Aug
The Evil Within - 29th Aug
Sniper Elite 2 - 29th June

So apart from those 7 titles theres nothing at all coming out in the next 4 months for Xbox One& PS4. As opposed to the Wii U which has almost nothing coming out until Smash Brothers.

Re: Say Hello To The Nintendo 2DS - A 3DS without 3D

Flashman

I thought it was a joke at first. But from reading I gather its aimed at the under 7 market and that the price is pretty cheap. Makes sense to me aiming an affordable version of a popular console at young kids.

Apparently GAME are advertising it at £109.99 in the UK but no doubt Amazon will have it down at £99 before the end of the week.
