It almost feels intentional that Fuga: Melodies of Steel hasn't gotten a review or any sort of look at all, even though it's been out for over a year. Suoer unique gameplay, charming artstyle, and it's not afraid to make you feel terrible for being reckless.

@PessitheMystic They tend to hint at them with the research requirements. They hint at it with Baculin by having two of the tasks involve using self-damage moves

We actually did get a game in the series in the west.... as an untranslated game on the TG16 Mini.

Looks neat but I'm concerned about it being another Kickstarter. It took them forever to roll out the Shovel Knight content and kept jacking up the price and I don't feel ready to wait 5ish years after release to play the full thing

Apparently Fuga: Melodies of Steel is such a hidden gem it didn't even show up on this list. (Seriously, where's the Fuga review? It's been out for months and is an incredible game)

Ironically, with this 9/10 review the Metacritic average will be bumped down to a 95/96 and will no longer have the same score as BotW

Played it years ago, and it was pretty good but definitely overhyped. I'm cool with it not being on Switch and would much rather have a Chrono Cross port/remake/remaster.

Please don't preorder this. You can't return it if it turns out to be bad and the cosmetics aren't worth it.

According to the leak from a while back they're already planning super and ultra versions down the line so there's no reason to even consider getting the base version

If you play it on an actual N64 console the controls are perfectly responsible, and all the modes add fun twists to the formula. I'd definitely give it an 8 or 8.5; giving it a 4 for HDMI TV/Switch Online problems is just wrong

TLOU2 is actually NOT the first game made for blind players. The first is Real Sound: Kaze no Regret, made all the way back in July 1997 because the president of the company got many letters from blind fans of their games, and strived to make a game both blind and non-blind people can enjoy equally.

The flute in Spirit Tracks was so dang hard someone sent in their cart to Nintendo Power (don't try this yourself!) so they could beat a song for them. If that doesn't tell you how absolutely infuriating it is, nothing else will

Unfortunately WaterMelon Games/Fonzie has had more than a few controversies over this game (including a letter included with every copy of the game that included a bunch of reasons/excuses for the delay, some of them somewhat racist, and telling people to donate to him with contact information), the game outright not working on certain consoles/Sega-made Genesis revisions, the game spending 8 years in development and giving no info to people who pre-ordered the game for many of them, the main dev at one point having only him work on the game and lock it away so nobody else can access it, the "launch party" a couple years back showing the game in an immensely unfinished state after 6 years of development,
and many other issues, so it's worth being wary of the final product and isn't a good idea to pre-order this.

LRG means an instant pass. Not gonna pay over double the price for an intentionally low print run to create scarcity.

Unfortunately none of these will probably happen either due to licensing issues or the companies wanting to sell the games themselves for nostalgia bucks
