Re: SNK Deletes "Inappropriate And Offensive" Samurai Shodown Tweets, Offers Apology

Fido007

@Phostachio This is an article about twitter correct? It some how became news worthy for a media website to pick up on, and seeing how it's about gaming and the platform they post comments about, which did nothing but get them into a dumpster fire which Could have been prevented if they where not on twitter, however a special snowflake at their company decided to post something to cause drama, which in turn points the finger at gamers as a whole, and not the anti-SJW crowd.

So basically what is happening here is WE are getting blamed for something we never did and all because of game companies catering towards the casuals.

Re: SNK Deletes "Inappropriate And Offensive" Samurai Shodown Tweets, Offers Apology

@TheFullAndy @Phostachio hardly, I've experienced gamers on full fronts, and most people who play games are not gonna get upset the second someone says something inappropriate on a whim, and even if they do, they themselves are special snowflakes who use OP items and consider themselves the best. It may come as a surprise to you that most gamers play games for playing games, not some over-glorified achievement they have to post on a social media platform just to tell everyone how good they are.

In the words of filthy frank insecurity intensifies "I'm better then everyone"

Re: SNK Deletes "Inappropriate And Offensive" Samurai Shodown Tweets, Offers Apology

Why do video game companies THINK that gamers use TWITTER, most of us are exorcised from the platform for being a "gamer", so why even bother catering towards your non-customers. I'm sure if you want to announce games, most players WILL check your website for updates/use media's like this website for gaming news. Putting your on twitter is gonna do nothing but keep you in a dumpster fire, the second you make these snowflakes cry.

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 10.0.1 Is Now Live

Fido007

@graysoncharles Agreed, I don't understand how they can have a prefect eshop for the 3DS, but have a cumbersome one for the switch. Personally I dislike visiting the eshop unless it's for something I know I want. Removing reviews was just scummy and annoying.

Re: Nintendo Switch Players Advised To Secure Accounts After Numerous Unauthorised Login Reports

Fido007

Google authenticator app has a lot of issues apparently, if you lose your phone/smart device, or it dies suddenly, your done. No recovery options. Nintendo should have just made its own 2 step option, or have a save state for accounts, that way your able to get your account back to what you had. Maybe even a Skype option for identification purposes. It's not hard to come up with security options and I'm sure people who invested into Nintendo wouldn't mind using these options to get their accounts back.

Re: Sega Open To Reviving Sonic's 1993 Arcade Game, But Needs Your Support

Fido007

I've heard this same song and dance from these companies for the past 14 years starting with square. The problem I see is that these companies are creatively bankrupt and are afraid of spending resources on something they think will fail.

With Sega's record of failures it's no surprising that they lost touch with their fan base, and only see dollar signs. Holding a game ransom for release in order for consumers to purchase their older games is just a new low. How I see things if you cannot continue to create game in a series that sells due to incompetence, then sell off your IP to someone who can.

Re: Burnout Paradise Remastered Launches On June 19th, According To US eShop Listing

Fido007

@EVIL-C Given EA's track record whoever they blame means nothing, they know what they did and putting the blame on gamers is more of an accomplishment then anything. I could care less about supporting EA and if they abandon the switch the better the system will be. Paying full price for a 12 year old game with a few graphical options is an insult, it should be 29.99, however EA only cares about $.

Their are way better companies to support out there. If you have patients and want to support the original developers, look for dangerous driving 2 - by ThreeFieldsEntertainment..

Re: Controversial "Adults Only" Murder Simulator Hatred Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

Fido007

@LavaTwilight IDK violence is a part of life, animals killing and eating other animals, volcano's exploding causing all kinds of living creatures to get burned alive, or suffocated. Airplanes crashing killing or mutating bodies. Acknowledging and accepting violence is a part of growing up, if not your setting yourself up to be taken advantage of, and people will take advantage of that don't kid yourself.

The universe is chaos, along with everything else. Being civilized is one thing, but denial of the truth only portraits someone as a fool.

I'm not telling you to buy this game, however if your biggest concern is about stomping on a Goomba in super Mario brothers, you may need to re-evaluate your current situation, that or find a new medium of entertainment.

Re: Controversial "Adults Only" Murder Simulator Hatred Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

Fido007

@LavaTwilight I don't understand? Every game has some sort of violence and murder in it. Zelda even has that, It may not be human to human but still, it's violence/murder.

I'm actually having a hard time coming up with a list of games that DON'T have any violence at all, unless it's solo racing games with no opponents, or anything else.

Sorry to say but I wouldn't watch the weather network with you bud, you'd run me out of kleenex.

Re: Burnout Paradise Remastered Could Be Speeding Onto The Switch This June

Fido007

I think most companies are now releasing ports of their games on the switch because they can get away with over pricing them. Increase of market aside, they can charge more here do to the lack of competition, have it stated as "new" despite it being out for a year everywhere else, and not have to fix bugs from the previous release in order to capitalize on a new medium.

In other words, buy it else where. If you really want it, PC has the original (no mp) and remaster. Or other current gen systems. Also like other people said analog is built into this game, so you lose that ability.
