@iLikeUrAttitude I think this is a fairly easy one to farm shinies, in that you can automate the process if you buy a programable controller. I haven't and I'm at 16 shinies already.
Mostly Mario Kart World, but my son and I tried the Street Fighter 6 demo and had a good time with it, so I ordered the full game. And I picked up Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which I am a few levels into and really digging.
1) you can use bubble jumps - but that might take some skill.
2) you can use the block badge to add extra blocks and extend a lot of the platforms. Especially makes the section with the two-wide platforms easier.
I am shocked the reaction has been the way it has - to my eye Walking Wake is far superior to the incredible dull Raging Bolt. So much more fun and interesting, which is how I want my Pokemon.
I really want Yokai Watch more than anything, but Deca Police looks really cool, and I will pick that and the new Layton up for sure. Never played Fantasy Life, so I'll wait for reviews or a demo and decide.
The game is incredibly fun. Yes it could run a little better, but I'm having such a good time with it, I'm considering picking up Scarlet as well - I don't usually get both versions.
@PeterAndCompany I'm in Australia, and am signed up to the Aus Nintendo mailing list. I don't believe I did anything more than that, although it's possible I opted in to an email when I signed up for the online membership. I also can't say if they sent out such emails in other countries. They are currently still in stock in Aus, although the SNES controllers did sell out.
@PeterAndCompany I received an email from Nintendo saying they were being restocked two hours before they restocked. And I managed to nab one Finally going to upgrade my membership now.
@blindsquarel The article/video is about the games coming out too close together, so other Pokemon games previously on the Switch don't seem all that relevant, but regardless, my example included a trilogy of games, so that would also be five for the series (and there are two metroid games in the Nintendo online library too)
@boxyguy What does last a long time mean? I've put over 135 hours into PLA (haven't touched the update yet). Well and truly got my $60-worth. I don't see an issue with a new Pokemon game coming out at the end of the year.
Judge the games, not how soon they are. I am sure you'd be happy if Metroid Prime 4 and Metroid Prime Trilogy all drop within a year of Dread. I loved Pokemon Shining Pearl and Pokemon Legends Arceus even more. Pokemon SV looks incredibly promising.
The only thing that has me considering it is you get cockroaches by not playing for a month. When I don't play for a month it will be because I am done with the game
@NoxAeturnus They don't exist because they released DLC instead. It is literally what they said. If you don't acknowledge it in order to make your point, your point is built on a false premise.
I don't have a NES Mini nor do I have a 3DS, so a pile of NES games that I can play on the go is fantastic to me. I've only bought a few in the past on VC, so for many it has been 10-20 years since I've played them, if at all.
DI 2 was very disappointing after DI 1. Less game content and all of it very repetitive across the play sets. I was totally on board, but it really let me down, so I didn't buy as much as I did for DI 1. DI 3 doesn't look like it will be much better.

@LastFootnote TECHNICALLY it's been announced as 'BY February 2026' so if could come sooner.

@weisske You have to be replying to the wrong article? ZA can't possibly be described as an unplayable mess, despite other possible criticisms.

@Spider-Kev You don't sell them, you release them.
Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Ranked Battles Season 2 Start Date And Rewards Revealed
@JimNorman The details in this aren't correct - Serebi reports "You will now get the Greninjite at Rank Y and Delphoxite at Rank S"
So it's much easier than it was, and Greninjite will still be available.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (7th June)
@Thorgaer I gave it a quick try and didn't love it, but I also didn't give it much of a try. Might just be a matter of getting use to it.

Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder: World 2 - Jump! Jump! Jump!
@PJOReilly - Two tips for this nightmare level.
1) you can use bubble jumps - but that might take some skill.

Re: Talking Point: Why Pokémon Sword & Shield's Expansion Pass Changes The Rules For The Series
@NoxAeturnus But you're comparing DS game prices to Switch prices, so it's more like you're comparing car prices to truck prices.

Re: Talking Point: Why Pokémon Sword & Shield's Expansion Pass Changes The Rules For The Series
@NoxAeturnus I'm not sure where you're getting lost here. Do you think Ultra Sword and Shield would have released on the 3DS?
Re: Talking Point: Why Pokémon Sword & Shield's Expansion Pass Changes The Rules For The Series
@NoxAeturnus It's not speculation at all though - they specifically said it replaced the previous 'ultra' versions.
Re: Talking Point: Why Pokémon Sword & Shield's Expansion Pass Changes The Rules For The Series
@NoxAeturnus
The flaw in your math is, if it wasn't DLC the second version of the game would ALSO be $60.
So previously you bought two full-priced games, now you buy one and a half.
