Some of these 3DS RPG demos in the past have been great. I've sunk hours into the Etrian Odyssey 4, Bravely Default, Legend of Legacy demos.

Probably not this time though. I don't know why but this demo didn't do much for me. I'm still not sure what sets this game apart from other RPGs.

As someone who is terrible at Monster Hunter, these don't excite me much as you probably have to earn them like the MH4U ones, aka never get them.

I don't understand how Inticreates, after working on mega man 9 and 10, and then azure striker gunvolt, could then make a game this critically panned.

Love Nintendo's approach to e3 this year. Set the expectations low and then surprise us. Working much better than last year, for me.

Great memories of playing my green Gameboy Pocket in math class heh. King of Fighters 95 and Tetris Plus later were two favorites.

Really depends on the art to me. I love the Fire Emblem Cipher cards because I like the original art on them.

That pre-made world is incredible.

I don't want to spoil it for others but that was above and beyond my expectations!

Tried it because I have amiibo, having never played a mario vs dk game, and was pleasantly surprised. The family was offering suggestions on how to solve puzzles and wanted to play it too. Good time.

Great editorial. I couldn't agree more.

I'm glad this game is getting localized, but with other higher profile RPGS out / on the way, I don't know if I will ever get to it.

Also, there are so many turn-based RPGs specifically on 3DS already. Thats fine by me but, the battle system will need to bring something new to the table in my opinion. Persona Q, Bravely Default, Legend of Legacy etc raised the bar.

I think people that don't play a lot of these games think that they are all the same. That is definitely not the case.

Hope there are changes this time around, but I'm not holding my breath. As someone who's played I-IV, this series has gotten stale, to me.

I've bought a bunch of these toys. . They are lower quality than amiibo but a lot of fun to play with my kids. I'd love fire emblem figures, but I don't think that will happen.

Wow. ... that would be the best Lego game ever. For me, at least. Awesome. Lego phylla vell with a giant sword and moondragon that can ' hulk out' into a giant dragon please?

I'm fine with this. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn would be fantastic redone.

Was a 3DS ambassador and loved the system for years, but my interest fell off the past year or so. Picked up a New Nintendo 3DS (small version) and some games for Christmas.

Fantastic purchase. I totally agree that Nintendo has not done nearly enough with it, but I love the faster loading times, smooth feel of the system, and built in C stick. It feels like what the 3DS was supposed to be. It's really too bad about the lack of support.

The eshop sale is not in the same league as other online stores, for sure. I'm frustrated that I didn't jump on the Black Friday sales now.

The comments from some people are over the top, but you have to expect that from the internet at this point. I do wonder how some of these people are so active on a Nintendo fan site with comments like there haven't been good VC releases in a year or that Sony makes good games, but, spend your time however you want I guess.

Super Mario RPG CAN be played in Wii Mode though. It's not like NA users are unable to play it. You just have to hold a different controller. Heaven forbid.

Man, so much love for Hector here. That's awesome.

But, I'm still thrilled about Corrin. He/ she can turn into a dragon. It's a playable manakete in Smash. That's exciting.

What I really want at this point is some sort of actiony Fire Emblem spin-off game. If others don't want these characters in Smash, could I just have my spin-off game, whether it's like Soul Calibur or Dynasty Warriors, but with Fire Emblem. Thanks!

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but Square Enix has released NES and SNES games on the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan, a while ago, and those never came over here. Here's hoping, though.

That is for sure. Good to know they understand that. I'm all for alternative experiences on smart phone from them.

Looks better. Still wish the graphics were 2D,but the game looks fine. Both the hype and hate for this game have been eye rolling.

These same kind of rumors surrounded the Wii and WiiU before release. Way early release dates and high shipping numbers. Not falling for it. This is the Nintendo that's barely kept the WiiU afloat, even struggling to release Virtual Console games, and they're going to have launch software for a whole new system for Fall 2016?

Every 'PS2 graphics' comment never played a PS2 game. You may as well say 'NES graphics.' So dumb.

Really disappointed that there isn't at least some challenging element. Ah well, one less game to worry about finding time to play!

I liked Kameo a lot, but my son.. my god.. hours and hours and hours of just fooling around with the various transformations in the different areas. So it gets props in my book for all the fun my son had with it.

Have to admit, the star wars hype is getting to me and I'm looking into all the store exclusive Rebels

I definitely think part of the problem is their execution. In Skylanders you can play as all the characters in the campaign mode. As someone who bought both games for their kids last year, the revelation that most of the DI figures could not be used with the playsets stopped us from buying a lot of figures that we were planning to.

@Geonjaha me too! Bought every Dragon Quest DS release, and have been starving since. Hope something aside from DQ Heroes comes to the west, one day.

As others have pointed out, the Federation troopers have only been used to push along the plot so far (Prime 2 & 3). This game will hopefully shed more light on them when they aren't serving that purpose.. like to freak out the player about the Ing, for example. Sounds good.

Totally agreed. This whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Some of these "fans" dont deserve a Metroid Prime 4.

Looks good at this early stage, I've played almost every Castlevania but can't wait for this!
