Arceus released only two month after DP remakes and that didn't impact sales by no mean. Announcing a new gen 3 month ahead of the next games release will do absolutely nothing. Legends is a spin-off and mainline titles always are the ones to generate the most money.
30 years anniversary is coming and nobody can deny it. If TPC or Nintendo want to (that is my wish/dream, nothing else...) celebrate it with the release of a new gen this presentation is the last call to announce them with realistic time frame between announcement and release.
Scarlet and Violet turning 3 this year is a clear hint that something is coming if the release is on pokemon day or just the announcement is to be seen. I would call it dumb to not take this opportunity and take it. But who am i to call this out?

It would be a missed opportunity to not release the games for the 30th anniversary (it is a big milestone). there would be nothing better than release a new generation to celebrate it. If they even come up with an idea like that this is the last opportunity to announce the games. It would be roughly 7 month prior to a possible release. Gen 5-9 were all announced at the beginning of the year they were released and had 9 to 10 month in-between. They were also 3 years apart from each other, scarlet and violet turning 3 this November makes a new gen more than overdue. I think they pushed it back to polish it more (for announcement) and hit that anniversary release date.
I expect nothing less than announcement of gen 10 releasing on 30th anniversary. Maybe even the reveal of new mega evolutions for Legends. My dream would be mega Charizard and Mewtwo Z.
Everything would be useless. Apart from the same bs for mobile games like the last 10 presents also did.
Sorry, but if he did not use home, it is on him. It is not his fault that something went wrong during transfer, but he could have avoided the lose of his old deared pokemon. He had an option to avoid this and did not use it. This is a simple and plain fact. I would never trust any system in the world blindly. If his home data in an unlucky coincidence would have been wiped too, then you all would be right. But as facts stand the lose of his pokemon is on him, plain and simple. From all companies capable of producing a blockbuster movie in Hollywood they really chose Sony.... Didn't they learn/see how they destroy licensed IPs? They butchered the Spider-Man IP (even Venom wasn't that good after all... well and the rest of SSU, let's not talk about it...)and try to reboot it again. The MCU Spider-Man trilogy wasn't a failure because Marvel was involved. Their CGI is awful as f**k and Zelda should have a lot of it. The most horrible i have ever seen and even worse then that from Blade 1 which is a 1998 movie... And that didn't pass the test of time... I will watch it, that's for sure, but my expectations art wise will be at a minimum. Story wise... Let's see what they will come up with.
If Nintendo wants to get top spot in that charts, they have to position OLED Switch to entry level, cut its price down by 40-50% as soon as Switch 2 releases (or even right now?). 10Mio seems achiveable, but considering that past Nintendo generations degraded to meaningless as soon as successor released (hardware saleswise), no chance that Switch will beat PS2 by doing nothing.
Even if this all wont happen, for me Switch is even now the best selling (pure) gaming system of all time. PS2 back than was priced to be the cheapest DVD player on the market and only god knows how many of that 160 mio units sold never saw an actual game disc in them.

The only deciding factor for success now will be the price. Anything above 400 will kill it before it even launches. They should not make the same mistake sony did with its ps5 pro.

After we moved apartment i decided to get rid of many i did not care of: Monster Hunter, Animal Crossing or Qbby for example. But i cannot let the Smash Series go. It is heavily connected to the Wii U, a console i love and i have fond memories with. If there will be no new amiibos announced in the next direct i think that amiibo are/will silently put to rest.

It shifted a few times from 0 order limit to available to sold out and back to 0 order limit. Now physical button is crossed out and no status can be seen. Checked a few minutes ago and no listing appered on ebay for now. I am wondering if i got my order by "mistake" or what was going on. Order status has changed to shipped in the meantime, but no e-mail came in.
Was there 3 years ago for the sword/shield launch. In the end it was a waste of time. Being in a line to get in for over 8 hours (arrived there around 5 am, got in around 1 pm) and seeing items being sold out in a few minutes after opening was ridiciolus. Spent less then an hour in there (shop + sword/shield deno). On top of purchases there were flight and airbnb booking. Spent around 400 euro for that trip. Was a special experience but in the and it was not worth it.

i would make a bet and meowth will get an hisuian form. as it is the only pokemon with more than one regional form it maybe will get a new regional form every time they make any for a new region.
Golden Sun was by far one of the best GBA games (excluding ports). Graphic were, for me at least, breathtaking. I would love to see a remake for Switch, but only if they can capture and rebuild the spirit of the original games. If they do something like Natsume did with Lufia on DS, they better not waste time and money on it.
He maybe has to say that (for now) to push limited runs release. I would bet my ass on it that the game will get a proper release (worldwide, or just Europe) after timed exclusivity, as it happend to many other games in the near past. Search for grandia or NMH on playasia...
As revolutionary as it was at its time, now Super Mario 64 is one of the worst Mario games of all times. A proper remake with modern controls and camera movement, both are way beyond awful, is the least we as gamer can expect and Mario deserves. A proper festivity would have been to make a remake and NOT milk the cash cow...
The number of 208 is wrong. There are only 202 available. The 6 that the creator is also counting are the braclets from Super Mario World Theme Park. Those are clearly no actual amiibo. If not you should also count the Super Mario Cereal one (which amiibo.life lists as a card)
