@AbejaGrande OH MY GOD! Who the Hell actually cares!? And so what!? Winston Churchill fought the Nazis and is a WWII hero, but he was a huge racist. J.K Rowling made Harry Potter, but she's a transphobe. Tom Cruise is a fantastic actor, but he's a crazed drama queen and a faithful scientologist. Frank Miller wrote the greatest and most iconic Batman and Daredevil stories in comic history, but is sexist towards women and racist towards all Middle Eastern races since 9/11. You need to learn to grow the Hell up, forget the ***** behind the creation, stop criticizing everyone who enjoys the work, get over yourself, and learn to enjoy the work.

Re: Nintendo Has Nothing To Share About Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3 And Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Right Now

I think Nintendo should spend that 1 billion of their 8 billion dollars to fund other Nintendo IPs. Resurrect games like F-Zero, Star Fox, Golden Sun, Punch Out, Fatal Frame (yes Nintendo owns Fatal Frame), Custom Robo, Chibi Robo, Eternal Darkness, etc. They can also start making brand new IPs. They don't have to be hundred million dollar ideas. Just interesting enough to get somewhere and hope it becomes bigger. Nintendo can't keep making new AAA games from their usual franchises while keeping hungry fans waiting for several years. We need new games damn it! Super Nintendo Land will probably make them a few billion at average when the Olympics start. And after the Covid meds and cures get out. Now's the time to strike and make new franchises!

Re: The Game Awards GOTY Is The Last Of Us Part 2

I played both Last Of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, and this is complete *****. LOU2 should NEVER have won Best Narrative. It's narrative is sloppy, confusing, idiotic, overused, and had the worst character assassinations I've ever seen. LOU2's revenge narrative is poorly done and executed with its only saving grace being the zombies and gameplay.
Ghost of Tsushima's narrative is great. It showed how glorified, useless, and unrealistic honor is, while still showing the good points after the bad points were made. Its narrative was clear and concise. You care about the characters and are sucked into the story, with fun and clever gameplay.

@the4seer The Trump and Louie suggestions were just aggressive jokes. Also, I honestly don't think NOA is weighing the backlash correctly. Serena is, at best, not well liked in the circles she's related to. Larson is a gargantuan can of worms that'll take too long to type about. Awkwafina is not a big star at all and I only recognized her thanks to her voice.
But I also think the celebrities NOA hired are the only ones they can afford and closest celebrities who legitimately play the Switch. Serena's retired and probably would not demand too much money. Brie Larson has made claims of being a big Nintendo fan and probably did it for free (or cheap), plus publicity. Awkwafina I've already said before. I think NOA would've hired celebs like John Cena, Jack Black, and Chrissy Teigen if they could afford them. There are a lot better celebrities they could pick and ask, but are just too expensive or aren't Switch players.

@the4seer In business, you have to consider who is a good enough person to represent your product. If you have a person who is famous for being a piece of crap, it'll reflect badly on what you're selling. Awkwafina was okay, but Brie Larson and Serena Williams were bad choices. If they want to go to the celebrity route, then NOA needs to hire celebs who aren't hated by a vast majority of people.

@Heavyarms55 She's a person who doesn't deserve the success. Ever since she was given the role of Captain Marvel, she became a self absorbed, boastful sexist. She thinks acting like an overly triggered ***** to men means she's a great symbol of women's rights. She has given everything without ever really trying, while more deserving actresses work their asses off and get shafted. Like Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Olsen. I've known women who had the "pleasure" of working with her and they called her (to make it short) an insufferable bitch, but they can't say that out loud or they'll get fired on the spot. Overall, she caused all this hatred and backlash and if she wants it to go away, she better do nothin but good things to disprove the haters she created. This will most definitely take several years with the amount of bad rep she built.
