@MTMike87 Exactly. I've never scalped before... but I understand the eBay gents who do it. They move fast, get the consoles first, and sell them to the rich and lazy.

What I don't like are scalping companies. You know, the ones that have Amazon "refurbished" listings $100 above sticker price.

And don't get me started on the Alogrithms built to purchase new consoles and games within milliseconds.

That is unfair. That turns consumer products into b2b transactions at the expense of the consumer.

But guys who buy 3 Switch 2's and sell them on eBay to Elon Musk or whatever? Go for it.

Are Switch 1 pro controllers compatible with Switch 2?

Will the DLC included in several Switch 1 upgrades, like kirby and the forgotten land, be available for standalone purchase on Switch 1?

Will the Switch 2 voicechat features work in handheld mode, sans camera?

Will there be marginal performance upgrades across all standard switch 1 games? (For example, will load time for the Witcher 3 Switch Edition be quicker on Switch 2)

@Indielink Speaking personally, there's a difference between hardware specs and patents vs official console designs.

I remember those days. Learning about the hardware specs and the "switch n' go" patents felt like pieces of a puzzle that all came together for the console reveal.

For Switch 2, we know all of that PLUS official dimensions of the console leaked from manufacturers and 3D printed from accessory companies.

What else is there to reveal? The C button??

Nintendo also waited an exceptionally long time to announce the switch. The difference? The Switch hadn't been shamelessly leaked 50 times over.

Tears of the kingdom was great, but I couldn't get into the creation aspect of it (the core mechanic that makes that game different from the original).

Bethesda put out an open invitation for the volition team to interview with them, if more layoffs happen at Crystal Dynamics, MS should DEFINITELY hire those guys.

This studio is on par with the very best in the industry in terms talent.

@Bunkerneath Don't get me wrong, their 2021 fall lineup doesn't seem as high budget as other years. They're still releasing Wario Ware next week, Metroid and Mario Party in October, Advance Wars remaster, Big Brain Academy, and Diamond and Pearl remasters all in 2021 -

With Legends Arceus and Splatoon 3 early next year too. That is not 2015 Wii U output. It's just not.

Conversely, I will not be buying SS HD. I’m not seeing enough improvements to justify buying a copy. I enjoyed it on Wii, but not enough to buy it a second time

@sketchturner It's fun, but straight forward. There aren't any additional modes, Scoreboards or incentives to keep the player coming back besides local and online free-for-all.

I bought it on day one and had a blast with it over that weekend, but haven't touched it since.

This was the highlight of the show for me! I’ve been waiting for this game to drop for a hot minute

The Wii, on it's stand, with the blue update light, was the best looking home console of the generation. It came in with the VA and brought the VOOM

Nintendo has given less and less reveals to the game awards each year. I'm expecting them to announce a something like a free update to Clubhouse Games: 51 classics that'll add a new card game

All they had to do was shove this into their Pokémon presentation last week and we’d all be happy.

I get that they probably had a deal with tencent to have an exclusive announcement of some sort, but come on guys!

This game gave me strong paper Mario vibes. Not in terms of its combat, but in terms of the execution of its globe trodding adventure
