Unless I am being a bit dense... any idea of the price of either of this DLC. Sorely tempted to double dip and get it all on the cart so by sons can play it. They are properly into the old games.

Nearly got this but seemed to have missed the boat for physical. And then in the last week I bought Eastward on eshop sale and found Unicorn Overlord for £30 on Amazon UK. Why can't I pass up a bargain despite having more games to play than I will ever have time for??

I took the plunge and am having a blast with my 7 year old twin boys. Its not hard but for us that's perfect. I like the art style and well... we are having fun so I am happy with the purchase.

Mine is arriving on Monday from Amazon. Looks impressive. But was that really ever in doubt?

I am right in thinking they have supported this with a ton of free updates. Fair play to the devs. I really enjoy it.

I go through phases with this game. When I pick it up I play it intensely for days and then step away for a while....

Had a lot of fun with this back in the day and through backwards compatibility still runs on the current gen Xbox. Would probably have picked up otherwise but £27 is just too much at the moment... I hope anyone who hasn't played the original, enjoys it.

Will always hold a special place in my heart for a couple of reasons. It introduced my two oldest children to the delights of Nintendo especially the insane roster of characters playing Super Smash. Secondly, it was the last joint family Christmas present from my parents before my Dad become ill. For that reason alone I will never get rid of it. I know it certainly had its shortcomings but what can I say...I am looking at it through rose tinted glasses with misty eyes...

And the legacy continues as my youngest two (6 year old twins) just love playing NintendoLand and Yoshis Wooly World...

I have been playing it on Game Pass and it is strangely addictive. Can zone out, listen to some music and just crack on. In shortish bursts its quite fun but I do fall into the I'll clean it to 50% then stop and invariably carry on. Of course its not everyones cup of tea...

Link to the Past on the SNES was my first.... Blew me away...

Wii U will always hold a very special place in my heart. I still have mine set up. It introduced my oldest two children to the Nintendo franchises they continue to love. The memories playing NintendoLand with them that Christmas we got it are fondly remembered. The fact it was bought for my family by my mum and dad before their health deteriorated and my dad has since passed away, just makes that attachment more keen. I know am a sentimental old fool but I will never get rid of the console...

What happens, does anyone know, if you have a game save on two platforms currently. Are they both made available to both platforms? My main save is on switch but I have a save from Xbox game pass that I wouldn't really want to overwrite or cause issues with my switch save...

EDIT: It looks like from the article now that you choose which hero to upload to the cloud which makes it a lot easier to manage. Assuming after that it just syncs each time.

I picked it up on Playstation and have enjoyed it. Bright, colourful and quite light-hearted. A few people have mentioned the banter between Zeus and Prometheus as corny but I found some of it laugh out loud funny, Might be me though... Its fun just running about and finding stuff as there always seems to be one more thing to do, chest, challenge, group of monsters to fight... It doesn't take itself too seriously and I don't think the player should either...

Absolutely loved the board game (still have a boxed 2nd Edition with the two hardback supplement books) but I never got into the console versions. I have BB2 on the XB1 but try as I might it just doesn't click. No matter how random these things are it always seems harsher with a virtual dice roll rather than seeing the cubed devils deliver a crushing blow in real life...

Can anyone confirm what the code in the Gift section? Is this is item from Tundra we shouldn't have? Or is it the Amorite Ore?

@Skalgrim I can't see anything to confirm it. All the talk of it on Game Pass seems to refer to Xbox which seems strange.

Update: Game Pass app on my phone shows Minecraft Dungeons with 'Plays on PC'

I'm going to take a look on Xbox as its coming to Game Pass but would definitely double dip if its any good. I have watched some YouTube and it looks very promising...

Last time I played any version of that game was the Spectrum version released by US Gold. Believe it or not, I think I still have the case and cassette in my loft ...along with all my Spectrum games.

@kyleforrester87 Thanks for the heads up. Kind of thinking it will be a wasted trip when we go. Certainly, don't want to spend the day queueing thats for sure. Waiting for 6 even 10 hours is just something I cannot do, no way, but each to their own and I certainly admire the will of those people wanting to queue up to get in.

@PawlSLax Thank you. I was hoping the crowds had died down but given other comments on this thread that seems a forlorn hope.

Going to chance my arm when I am in London a week Saturday with my son but we are definitely not queueing for hours to get in. I am guessing much like busy times at the Lego store they control numbers in the store; cos that video didn't seem to show huge crowds...

@Antraxx777 You might be right but I tell you when I started playing and mistimed my first jump and died attempting to squish that first Koopa and I knew then I wasn't the same man any more...

I can remember spending Christmas Day the year I got a SNES for Christmas playing this all day. After completing it, going back and finding the secret paths and then realising you can complete it very quickly using the warp paths. It's a joy to play now as much as it was then. Only thing thats poor is the fact I am not as good at platformers as I clearly was... I blame old age

Played it a bit when it arrived on Xbox Game Pass but didn't grab me like I expected it to and I'm not sure why. I do need to go back to it. Having it portable would be enticing though.

I'm enjoying it. Not something I normally go for and not a big fan of the current F1 but this feels good. Hasn't felt too difficult to start with to be honest as I won the constructors and drivers in the first season (I just felt it eased you in nicely besides there are three difficulty levels as well). There is plenty of help icons in the tutorial you can use to explain how the systems work so I thought it strange the review makes comment regarding a revelation about intermediate tyres in wet weather. The tyres in particular explain conditions and even laps expected out of them before they need changing.

@BumpkinRich Thats true. However we never had to worry about 30 FPS or whether the game was 1080p or 720p....
