The Tegra T239 utilises eight cores in a single cluster, it is a customised Tegra T234 based on NVIDIA's Ampere architecture. Reputedly, the Tegra T239 will contain 2,048 CUDA cores, up from 256 shader cores in the Tegra X1. Nominally, the Tegra T239 should deliver 4 TFLOPs of performance too, a 10x increase on the Switch's current 0.4 TFLOP output.
Street pass would have been a great addition to the Switch. I think Nintendo didn't exploit the portable benefits on the Switch as much as they did with the 3DS, and that's what makes the console stand out from the rest of its generation.
Remember when they said Persona 5 was not a game suitable for the Switch? and when Atlus released a poll asking if anyone would be interested? turns out if it runs well enough any game could be suitable for the Switch.
Only 6 days until no man's sky is out and we haven't seen much except a few trailers with the same repeated footage, this is a game I wouldn't pre order.
Most successful franchise in the world and they can't implement voice acting. I spent my whole childhood reading through rpgs, it's 2022 Nintendo, hire some VAs!
No way it's coming to switch. Microsoft bought Bethesda because they lack first party titles compared to Sony, so that's gonna be an Xbox exclusive (maybe PC later). That and Starfield are the sole reason I bought a Series S last month.
I've been looking into buying a retroid pocket 2+, because it looks cool and emulates everything up to and including GameCube. This on the other hand looks like trash. The way they try to confuse customers by making it similar to the Switch tells me this Powkiddy company only focuses in appearances and imitation and not quality and customer satisfaction.
Maybe this Chinese companies should focus not only on performance but also in the ability for the average gamer to buy the thing. The Switch didn't sell 100M units by just having a good library, it did by having a price tag people could seriously consider.
The pouch comparison is what actually made me realize how big the Deck is, I have the oled Hori "slim" pouch and that is already annoying to carry around
Just did the survey, was all that a marketing campaign for Souls Hackers 2? the game that won't even come out on the Switch?! My response to the video was being disappointed they are not considering the NS for that game and to please bring P5 to the console.
This is a neat idea! Too bad I don't have enough time to finish a game in a week, but I'll try to follow when a game on my backlog shows up. Right now I have FE:3H, Sniper elite 3 and Deltarune waiting for me to get bored with MH Rise.
