Re: Darkest Dungeon is Another Critically Acclaimed Download Heading to the Switch eShop

BispoSnake

One of the best latest RPGs that I've played for sure. As soon as I'm able to get a Switch, I'll probably get this game as well.

For the ones complaining, as the game states in the very beginning, it will push you to the limit and test your skills on the most adverse situations. So, in other words, the game is very hard, you will get your entire party wiped several times, and you will have to build your strategy and teams accordingly depending on the accepted quest.

Re: Nintendo Confirms Nindies@Night and Lots More for PAX West

I do not understand why there's such hate with indie titles. I believe that there are indies that easily surpasses several (on what people call these days) AAA games currently out there.

I rather play I am Setsuna, Shovel Knight, NEO Fast, Pirate Pop Plus, Castlestorm, Freedom Planet, Axiom Verge, Swords and Soldiers, Has been heroes, etc, etc, instead of wasting my precious time playing AAA games that are usually broken by bugs and outworn mechanics.

Anyway, that's just my opinion and I guess it doesn't count much

Nice games this week.

How would feel for people that live in NA and EU countries, that are actually able to walk into a store and buy those 3DS and Switch games on their day 1 and get back home after a long day to play?

Unfortunately I'll never know :/

@ricklongo how much you spent in a music cd, compared with the herculean task of bringing a system from another country? If you're brazilian, you now what I mean =)

I really like Nintendo games, I've been playing them since NES. I'm not kidding, I still have all systems here, and I'm big fan of Zelda, Metroid and Starfox, they're my favorite of all time along with Metal Gear, Assassin's Creed and Chrono Trigger.

However, I grow tired you know? Wish they had more consideration with their customers down here. They're not even able to give us a simple digital shop. C'mon... Do you know the answer I got when I've asked their support on how to get the code for crossbuys for WiiU, since there is no digital WiiU eShop in Brazil? None. "We don't support your region".

I'd rather buy in Steam. At least, they give me ways to pay on my currency (and also is cheaper) and give me support. So, we're not in the 80/90's anymore. Their games are still awesome, but, honestly they don't give a damn to their customers. At least here in Brazil or LatAm. I'll put my money on where, at least, they give me a little attention and means to pay

I believe that, in some aspects, Phantom System even surpasses the original NES hardware. It's not an ordinary clone, it's a well designed machine, along with others in the country such as Dynavision, Turbo Game, Bit System, etc.

About the representation part, that's why I'll put my money on Steam instead. I'm so tired to go all over the process of importing again to have another Nintendo console, and pay 10 times of what the console really is worth. Believe, I know what I'm talking about, I have all Nintendo platforms until now (but Virtual Boy). If Nintendo doesn't care about Brazil anymore, I really won't be caring about their platforms any longer.

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About the Mini NES?

BispoSnake

I still have the real deal here with tons of carts, so, no.

In addition that controller cable length is outrageous and Nintendo forgot that my country exists and importing it could cost me an eye, so, until my NES and its carts works, I'll stick to that.

Re: Mega Drive 'Limited Edition' Console Heading to Brazil in 2017

BispoSnake

It's a trap boys, beware. There are rumors everywhere saying that this could potentially be a "Genesis on a Chip" console, most likely the ones you guys have in US which is distributed (?) by AT Games.

In the exterior, it's a Mega Drive / Genesis. In the interior... The good news is that it'll have cartridge slot and a "pre built" Everdrive with that SD card port.

The bad news: It won't have compatibility with MD / Genesis acessories and special games such as Sega CD, or Virtua Racing and Sonic Knucles for example.

It's worth the nostalgia, but, honestly, I'd say that's a lot of money to put on for what this console will offer.

Re: Volcanion Distribution Kicks Off in North America and PAL Countries

BispoSnake

@Elanczewski, we had in the past but not anymore. Nintendo has left Brazil around one or two years ago unfortunately, so, we had some book stores (like Fnac for example) that provided those codes, but they don't have any relationship with Nintendo anymore. We need to import things (at a very high price) if we want something.

They could at least make this distribution global, so everyone is able to participate. Anyway, this is the last of the problems for people that are interested in Nintendo in my country =(
