Miiverse is, alas, one day going to be but a treasured memory. A quirky part of the Wii U and 3DS landscape, Nintendo is moving on and not including its bespoke social network on the Switch; that's a bit of a pity, as some entertaining posts will no doubt be lost.
Image & Form has now produced a funny video looking over some of its favourite posts from the various SteamWorld communities. Yes, Miiverse is this weird.
Oh Miiverse, we'll miss you.

That person asking if it's Donald Trump is a member here.I knew the name was familiar,so had a wee search and right enough,they are.. @deKay
Stay weird, Miiverse.
Also, this is a really bizarre way of selling a game, but I'll admit I'll give Heist a look now.
@OorWullie Brilliant.
I think Allbran Sigson from Image & Zoink was my favourite.
Helloooo
You should see the New Super Luigi community.
I think you'll find the I Love My Pony community is the best one.
Is that a Switch reference there at the end? Steamworld Switch confirmed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, you gotta see the New Super Luigi U community. It's simply marvelous.
@Zach777 They already confirmed previously that SteamWorld Project 2017 is coming to Switch.
Miiverse will probably return when they make a 3ds successor
@gardevoir7
Why?
dafoeverse forever
Miiverse: A place for fun, a place for knowledge. I'll miss it so much.
Wait... Miiverse is still a thing?
@NintySnesMan You mean IF they make a 3DS successor. Kimishima's comments last week were clarified in an official statement. There aren't any plans for a new dedicated handheld at this point and the only way I see Nintendo even attempting one is if the Switch bombs.
Too bad it's users were many times belligerent to its mods
@thesilverbrick
Exactly mate. If it fails or sometime down the road
And with no surprise, Miiverse continues to be a humorless drek of crappy posts.
@YouSeemFRAZZLED It has BEEN garbage ever since most of the users from the Smash Bros. Community "migrated" to it.
Omg I'm in this video on the why can't metroid crawl segment...... Please just let the shame die already lmao.
I really like these guys as supporters of Nintendo platforms, developers, and just laid back dudes.
Not one of those post's were remotely funny.
Nic3
@YouSeemFRAZZLED It was, before the game was released. When the community was flooded with in-game screenshots, the spammers considered it as a "dead community". Thus, they moved to the Wii Fit U community to post their never-ending garbage. Then when the July update came, they left to their "final destination" which was the New Super Luigi U community.
