I had finally come to terms that Nintendo just wasn't the same company that I had grown up with. Even though I had spent a lot of my childhood with Mario, Pokemon, Kirby and others spanning many systems and a plethora of games over the years (pretty much a decade), I felt like I started to drift apart from them. Hell, I only bought two games for my 3DS this year. And they were fun, don't get me wrong, but I just felt that I wasn't getting that trademark Nintendo charm. I even just tried the Pokemon Sun/Moon demo, and I just wasn't feeling it even though I have been a huge lifelong Pokemon fan. I'll still end up getting it, but it will most likely be the last 3DS game I will purchase. And while I was disappointed, I had come to terms with it. I'm seventeen years old, I love my PS4 and I was ready to move on........ until I saw this trailer. After watching it, I felt like a little kid giddy with anticipation of what's to come. It's new, it's innovative, and it seems to be full of potential. I hope Nintendo can pull through with this one, as I don't want to have to move on without the Big N in my life. I want to experience that charm and pure fun that only Nintendo can provide again just as I had for so many years.

Monster Hunter 4G is a game that's been on my wishlist for a while now, but I haven't bought it yet. Should I wait for this new version now?

I've never bought a downloaded retail game. I will always stick with physical copies. Like looking at all the boxes on your shelf, it's so satisfying.

Awesome video, I just want to say that I loved the piano version of Butter Building that played during the Kirby part. I love Butter Building's theme so much.

That's good. I've been wanting to try the Yoshi's Island and the Mario Party but due to the poor reviews, I've been holding off and hoping for a price drop.

Yeah you're right. I don't have an expansive knowledge of Megaman since I've never played the games so I just kind of relate all of the Megaman costumes to the NES Megaman in my mind. I just hope that the King still has a chance.

I love Song Of Storms and this video just made me love it more.

Megaman and Link have outfits, I still think that King K. Rool has a good possibility to be DLC,

So 3 costumes and 2 stages will cost like $15 right? I wish the DLC wouldn't be so expensive.... Oh well, I'll still get it.

Great article, it really captures how great of a leader he was. It really is a shame that one of the last things he did as the CEO was to apologize for this years E3 showing. The fact that fans are petitioning to have the new Metroid game canceled is ridiculous. I'm still not excited about it, but petitioning against it is too much. Iwata deserved better. He did so much for Nintendo and gaming in general and one of his last actions was to apologize to the "loyal" fans because they can't wait and give a game a chance. We lost a great man and he will be missed greatly.

I only buy physical copies of games so I'm happy to hear this. I'll probably have to pick it up.

I'm still disappointed and salty, but I can't imagine how bad Iwata, Miyamoto, Reggie, all those guys feel right now. I feel sorry for them, but it was important that they get that this isn't what we wanted.

I think that Blastball would be just fine on its own. The fact that they slapped the name Metroid on the game is going to bring it down.

This was like youtube comment theatre! I loved it, and unfortunately he's sort of right. I wouldn't be that extreme though.

Hopefully this gets them back onto the right track. Maybe next year!

This looks good. I've never been a fan (or played) Paper Mario or Mario RPG's so maybe I might have to try it out.

I hope they release a bundle of the two versions. Regardless, I will be picking this up. This was one of two titles that I'm excited for.

Why another Mario Party when the last few have been disappointments themselves? Why would they center it around amiibo when they can't even keep them in stock? A normal Animal Crossing for the Wii U would've been a big hit to fans and then they throw this pile of crap at the Wii U owners. I just don't get it.

Why? Just Why? Why in the world would you create a Metroid game that doesn't feature Samus or any of that awesome gameplay?? I've never owned a Metroid game and I was really hoping that Nintendo would create a new Metroid game for the 3DS so I could try it! And then we get this. This thing is just so stupid.

This and Fire Emblem are probably going to be the only games I'll pick up. I might give Yokai Watch a chance. Every time I go back to Japan, all I see is Yokai Watch stuff. It's huge over there, it's like a new Poke-Mania

I don't think that the graphics looked bad. Besides, gameplay is what matters.

Nintendo has always been my number one video game company, but now, I'm glad I never bought a Wii U and bought a PS4 instead. At least my 3DS will keep me company for the next year.

Why would they spend a quarter of the presentation on a game that's already been released in many parts of the worold, that was in last year's E3 and then show a developer interview longer than gameplay itself??
Why would they shy away from the regular formula of Animal Crossing which has been extremely successful and then make a stupid party game out of it?
Why would you waste so much time talking about amiibo in SKYLANDERS?
Why did they just stick up their middle finger to the Wii U and all of its faithful owners??
I just don't get it. I've been a die hard Nintendo fan for years but I can't express how disappointed I am in them right now. If it weren't for some good 3DS titles, this E3 would've been a complete disaster.

Nintendo "transformed" into a dud and they're going to have to get back on the right track.

I forgot to mention that I'm pumped for Fire Emblem though.

The Puppets were the best part of it all, unfortunately. Star Fox looked decent and Hyrule Warriors looks good too but everything else was just so disappointing. Why couldn't they listen to the fans and give us what we want? ( F-Zero, a real Animal Crossing, a real Metroid). What made last year so great was that there was game after game after game! And most of them were great! This year they just reviewed games that were already announced and filled up a lot of the time with Developer Interviews. I don't get it!

Don't have a Wii U so I'm glad to see this.

If I were to get one, I would have to complete the collection and get every other amiibo in existence, so I don't own a single one. I think they're a great collectible though.
