@TipsySonic Like Valkyria Chronicles 4 BIG? haha Have no idea how big the Astral Chain was. They wouldnt ship it to US because of size so I'm sure it was pretty bulky.
@TipsySonic haha I'm the oposite. I will choose a limited edition only if there is a steelbook. No steelbook, then standard edition for me. All I want for limited versions are steelbooks and Soundtrack.
@TipsySonic Yeah I have not bought games on release in a while. Example, I wanted the new Steam World game when it came out but waited and now this week it will be released by SuperRare physical. Just the way it is. Not really in rush to play games right when they release though cause everybody's backlog is real.
In my opinion, it appears @Kalmaro is pro digital and is speaking sarcastically to the pro physical guys.
The way I'm reading him, its as if he just wants to let physical collectors know that its pointless to own physical and just go digital already.
That is his opinion, but my opinion is that while yes, the DLC and patches pushed out to games post launch do make an incomplete physical version, this still does not eliminate some of the advantages of having physical. Physical owners can still let friends and family borrow games, or sell them when they are done. We still save GB's of space on our SD cards by not having to download full games. We also get great looking cases and artwork. To me the only thing digital has on physical is the easy ability to just click play.
@Zebetite @Kintypoo121 You know they not gonna create a whole new silhouette for this. Usually when shoe company's collaborate, they use existing silhouettes.
@Mr_Muscle Civilization VI Ports Digital -eshop - 60 -PSN - 60
Gamestop New-Switch-40 New- PS4 - 60
So twenty dollars more for a PS4 Copy? You must realize that after initial release sales are obtained, game prices drop right? Do you think Witcher 3 was 15 dollars upon PS4 release week? I'm not saying that this game is better on switch platform. I honestly would probably enjoy it most on PC or PS4. But there are people who only own switch and there are also people who like to travel / play handheld. There is a target audience and obviously you are not targeted. But your opinions on the pricing are just ridiculous in my opinion.
@Mr_Muscle Has anybody agreed with a single comment you have left? You argue that you can get it for 15 at gamestop. We have all already voided that. The 15 your thinking about is for a used copy of the base game, NO DLC included. So if you bought the base game used for 15 and then pay 25 for the expansion pass thats 40 dollars, NOT 15. Also the game on switch format is 50 dollars on Amazon last I checked. You may be correct in saying that its cheaper to get it on another platform, but I fail to understand how you fail to make sense of the pricing. It's also my opinion that you do not understand what switch tax is.
@grant007 you must not know how much trainers cost. Sure most Gym's are 10 to 30 a month but you not getting but maybee 2 sessions from a trainer for 60
@Dang69 I don't know. I find the latter R3 missions on file 12 kind of difficult. Not super hard but making a simple mistake can cost your life and 20 minutes of your time. Some of those missions take me 30 minutes waiting for cooldowns like blue shield and being careful to dodge heavy enemy attacks with doggie.
@krisi @matdub It is kind of ridiculous, but that's the cost of physical limited. They did mention that each copy includes a flip grip which does make it more reasonable. 18 dollars is still alot more than 2 though.
This was developed by the same developer as runner 3. Runner 3 did not review that bad and from my understanding this is just a reskinning. How does this do worse ?
One thing I've been confused about is the 2d in Dragon Quest XI S. I have read that the 2d is a feature you can use for visiting past Dragon Quest towns and dungeons but then I'm also under the impression that the 2d is a recreation of the entire XI story in that mode. So is it one or the other or both?
Did anybody else have issues with SN30 Pro Vibration. For me some of the games I played the Vibration would be super high and then it wouldnt stop, I would have to exit the game and turn off the controller. I ended up turning vibration off for a lot of the games I played using the SN30 Pro.
@Chunkboi79 Yeah there is a long horizontal glass in the middle to acivate at the prisoners quarters in which you can add a "Boss Cell" to change the difficulty, it is not done in any of the menus but "In game". In order to unlock the following difficulty, you have to beat it with the boss cell activated for that particular run.
Why are people worried about the publisher. They have other developer's games that they publish. Also does Spike Chunsoft develop all their own games? I seen the news today that "YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world" is being distributed by NIS. I'm not very familiar with how that all works but inst the publisher "Spike Chunsoft" suppose to manufacture the developers games?
5 Bucks on Android. I usually find games I'd rather play on my phone from eShop new releases like this. Goragoa, Back to bed, golf peaks, minesweeper genious, etc...
@Mathieu_B That's what I'm confused about. The tweet in this article states exclusive to eShop for the foreseeable future. But I also remember them saying shortly after release they would have a physical. Seems like contradictory statements
@indielink that's what I'm saying. There's been some games like that that I wanted physical but I'm not down to pay those physical prices especially when so many games come out in such a small period of time. I love physical but I love my money more
@baller98 - That is not the complete bundle. Its just 1-3.
@N8tiveT3ch - Does not appear they will sell Switch Complete bundle. PS4 and Xbox will have a better deal with all the games for $50, also they will be getting the OST, digital artbook, and reverse cover art included on that ultimate collection.. Switch will probably have to buy the 1-3 collection for $40, and then separately buy Trine 4 for $30-40. Sounds pretty wack to me.
@Wawawaaaario I didnt see the season pass for South Park discounted, must be only Europe and not NA. Only the gold version. I have a physical I got on sale during holidays but at this point the south park DLC is more money than buying the gold edition on eshop.
Can't you access the PS in store with a PSP still. I thought you could at least access some of the stuff on the PlayStation Vita's storefront. I mean the PlayStation store still has PSP games for sale
I really hope they have motion controls. I'm horrible with aiming in handheld mode without pro controller and I'm not that great with pro controller either.
First introduction to this game. I think this is one I might like to play but not on my switch. I have discovered a lot of good games that I would rather play on my phone just from Switch eShop like Gorogoa as well. When it comes to the mobile ports, it depends on which platform I would rather play it on, phone being more mobile, is it a pick up and roll game like if I'm waiting in line somewhere and also mobile price tends to be a lot cheaper.
@Jokerwolf It's actually 10 dollars more for the physical but you get the DLC as well as all the characters. Wondering if future DLC unannounced is also free with physical.
@Medic_alert If you bought the digital version then the game is automatically registered to your account. Being registered to your account would of then sent the email with the code. DavidMac deleted the email as he was not aware.
@DavidMac My reading comprehension is not the best, I admit. I mean I feel for you for missing out. Its just my opinion that it's your fault to a degree. It is natural for you to want to voice your concern with the way things are executed by Nintendo such as download codes, I just personally don't agree with your opinion is all.
@DavidMac On the Nintendo news channel on the switch itself, it stated that if you bought it digitally the game would be automatically registered to your account (and physical would need to manually register), but if you stopped reading there then you missed out because underneath that it stated that the download code would be sent to you via email after registered (auto or manual). They never said you didn't need to do nothing if you bought digital. That article was posted on Nintendo News channel 12 / 7.
@DavidMac Not really their fault you deleted the code and this news has been floating around for a while now. Nintendo life has even had an article or two about reminding people I believe.
Considering what Aneira is assuming (Manufacturing cost more than 15 dollars per game). I don't see how you don't understand his comment. 150,000 = 0 profit is what he is saying. Although I myself don't believe it cost more than 15 dollars to manufacture a game.
