I loved this game and would love a reason to replay it

Zelda Oracle games remake and Golden Sun HD2D pleeeeease!

Ive played Pokémon since Yellow first came out and and I still to this day hold up and B when I’ve thrown a poke ball.

@Ironcore this. My Steamdeck is waiting patiently to see if it will need to replace the switch with my big library stuff. If my 120+ games in switch are stuck there then I will. I longer by any non exclusive game on the next Nintendo

If I can’t play the next Nintendo console off Tv (like I could with Wii u, 3ds, switch etc) then I can’t play it often.
Ask my PS5 how often it’s turned on.

How Nintendo handles the eshop game library with the cross over to the successor will directly impact where I put my money moving in.
If I have my whole switch library on the switch 2 that’s all good. If not, I’m rebuying the best ones in my Steamdeck and buying nothing in switch 2 aside from exclusives.

My wife wants to play this with me and that’s the only reason I’m buying this game. I wanted to bite with my wallet but I guess once again I’m part of the problem.

Even more exciting is this could pave the way for Perfect Dark. Online PD 2 player Counter Operative was one of my favourite multiplayer modes

I’ve actually never played a Splatoon game. I’m not a big multiplayer games kind of person so maybe that’s why.

I have them both on Wii U and would still buy them full price on switch. I’m the problem.

I reckon I’d upgrade. I stopped playing Skyrim and never picked it back up so could be a good excuse to start afresh

This is how we know a Direct is imminent because this will be announced in that. If Nintendo weren’t gearing up for announcements then other places could do it.

@Luke937 while I understand your point I’ve played and loved some very unique indie games over the last few years. I almost prefer them to a lot of AAA games coming out right now.

I hated the noble battles so much that after Avalugg I put the game down and haven’t revisited it in weeks. Should I try and get back in?

I’m a huge fan of the HD-2D style and I rally enjoyed Octopath - I felt there’s a bit too much of it though and I’m not even half way though. I really hope they do more games like this. I want to play Chrono Trigger and I’d love a Golden Sun 1+2 package too

@JakedaArbok ha glad I’m not the only one that would rather wait for the Arlo review. I keep reminding myself that Sword had rave reviews too - if NL think that was an 8 then this review means nothing to me either.

Despite all the good reviews unfortunately I’m still just not bothered. Gen 7 and 8 just killed my enthusiasm. Maybe I’ll pick it up one day or wait for a review from Arlo or something ha

See, this is my point with switch tax being too much. It took me forever to buy hollow knight or Celeste because the switch version was so much more than other consoles. If a game is under a £5er I will buy it. I bought this and I have no intention of really playing jt any time soon or at all. Just make eshop games cheap and I’ll buy them just in case.

I have several £13-£22 games on my wish m list that I’m not yet prepared to take the plunge. If they were £5-£7 I’d have bought them like I do for PS4 sales

And yet I’m pretty sure the new first person camera mode lets you get a nice good close look at some of the artwork…

How does this play on Switch? Mainly asking about lack of analogue triggers. Like driving slow etc.
