Get out the waabulance. You know what I’ve done when I’ve worked at crap jobs? FIND A NEW IOB! The gaming industry acts as if they’re the only ones with ungrateful bosses, unrealistic deadlines and companies out for themselves. In my experience, it’s every industry that acts this way. Take a ride in high finance job like I have and you’ll see the same thing. I’m not saying it’s rigjht, but this constant whining gets old. You ain’t slaves, find a new job if it sucks.

@Arehexes
I’ve had digital songs permanently removed from Rocksmith that were bought digitally, that I still would have if I had kept the disc. License ran out so they removed my digital purchase...after 2 years! Buying digital is a huge risk for that and the fact that you can’t resell anything. If I buy a game physical and it sucks, I usually get back 75% of my purchase on eBay. You’d be surprised at what people pay on eBay for used games. Buying physical gives you many more options on many different fronts and the biggest two are game resale & game preservation.

People just don’t think. And can’t accept the fact that everyone has their own tastes and especially now as multiple different generations all enjoy games. Given how well the Switch is selling, costing more than either an Xbox or PS4 at this point, I’m not sure what more they need to know or comprehend. Or why they bother commenting on games/articles they have no interest in to let us know why a game they don’t like sold.

The overwhelming vast majority of gamers own multiple systems. The last major survey on this indicates that over 50% of gamers in the US own two modern systems. That’s well over 50 million in the US alone. The argument that this game, or any other, is doing well on the Switch due to a lack of games is total BS. People bought this because they WANTED TO and not because there’s a dirth of games. I see this argument presented over and over again by the exact same people, because they happen to not like a game, and it’s total nonsense. I don’t like it therefore it must be selling for other reasons beyond buyers wanted the game? 🙄🙄

The lack of logic used here is astounding. Accept the fact that folks have different tastes than you...and that’s alright, it’s not a threat to you or your preferred system.

I ordered the physical edition. As a Nintendo only gamer in my youth, I never played Sega games much outside the arcades as the only system of there’s in my household was my sister’s Game Gear. Now as an adult I’m glad Sega is featured predominantly on Nintendo’s systems as it gives me a chance to try them out again. I think they are better tailored to its systems and it’s more old school fan base. Can’t wait to try this game out! Count me as excited...we all have different tastes!

Your blowing this up way out of proportion. They have to disclose every single risk to avoid lawsuits by shareholders, especially those shares held by hedge funds. This disclosure seems pretty begnine to me. Anyone who invests and take the time to read will discover these scary sounding disclosures are part & parcel of every K-10, in every industry.

I have a ton of Amiibos and continue to buy them today. They’re fairly cheap, offer a small but descent amount of interactivity with games, and if you buy yourself some cases, surprisingly easy to store away. I typically have a handful lying around, either for show, because I’m using them or because it’s the characters from the games I’m currently playing. They just add a bit more flavor and interactivity with my gaming. Now where is my Pirahna Plant?

My favorite Amiibo? R.O.B....just because I’m an NES kid.
