@MsJubilee Correction. They treat the COMPETITIVE Smash community like garbage and for good reason. Aside from the controversies that came out a few years ago, the competitive Smash community is a VERY SMALL, NICHE part of the overall fandom and act as if they are entitled to Nintendo's attention, even though they are NOT the main target audience of the Smash series.

You know that Zagreus is now qualifies for a roster spot in a future Smash game. Imagine him being playable and being the first character to represent rogue-like games.

I mean this should not be a surprise that the Game Awards are an embarrassment to the industry. The only reason these awards exist in the first place is so Geoff could make himself feel important and part of the video game industry without actually putting in the effort like most of the game developers do.

And I still wish I could have played it.

Did they even have merch on their website to begin with? Every time I went on it was as if they hadn't even set up the merch yet to be sold. And right now it's as if the Van Gogh stuff doesn't even exist.

Gastrodon seems to be the go to Pokémon for these championships. Since 2019, Gastordon has been distributed five times, all of which had the same moveset more or less.

All five Gastrodon had Earth Power and Protect.
All five had an Ice-type move (usually Ice Beam, but this latest one had Icy Wind instead).
And the last move was either Recover (1st Gastrodon), Surf (2nd Gastrodon), or Yawn (3rd, 4th, 5th Gastrodon).

Nintendo needs to start distributing other Pokémon from these winning teams if they're going to keep doing this. Gastrodon has become ad nauseam at this point.

They really took a Fakemon and seriously made it official in a way.

The sad thing is that there are people praising this kid as a hero for standing up to "Big Bad Nintendo" when in reality he's just a brat who got caught stealing his dad's money and is desperate to pay him back. Hell, the fact that he's suing for JUST $170 should have been the first clue that something was wrong here.

On one hand it's that vegan crap. On the other, I would have at least wanted to get the cups to go with the ones I got from when Cold Stone Creamery had Nintendo flavor. Probably could have just got a juice or something and just asked for the Nintendo cups. Luckily I'm desperate to add these to my collection 'cause the closest Nékter shops to where I live are in Ohio and Illinois. No thank you, I'll just wait until a REAL ice cream place closer to home has another Nintendo promotion.

@Wilforce DDR is already inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Fun Fact: There have only been two years where a Nintendo game was NOT inducted into the Hall of Fame, those years being 2018 and 2020. At the same time, every year has had at least one inducted game from a series that is represented in the Super Smash Bros. series.

@gloom Gives off the same energy as Chris Pratt during the first trailer introduction. So far Jack Black seems to be the only genuine one when it comes to playing video games.

@ScribbleDot It does feel like they're trying too hard to veer away from Peach's standard role as a character. Unfortunately, since this is an origin story of sorts, someone is needed to teach Mario the ins and outs of the Mushroom Kingdom and Peach is really the only one who can. Granted, they could have easily done this without giving Peach the personality you'd expect from Daisy.

@Tsuchinoko How old are you? Mario and Luigi being from Brooklyn before ending up in the Mushroom Kingdom has been a thing since the series began in the 80s.

The game will flop like Disney's latest animated film. People are just getting tired of woke BS. They want games and movies with characters that are MORE than just their race, gender, and/or sexuality. If you truly want a wonderful life, play the original, where the characters clearly had more personality and effort put into them.

I was only able to catch Ground, Ice, and Fighting Tera-type Eevee, with Ice being the only useful one. Ground was the most abundant for me, so I traded away any extras I caught.

If Sony actually cared about their IPs (Sly, Parappa, Jak & Daxter, Gravity Rush, InFamous, Ape Escape, etc.) then they could actually compete with Nintendo without CoD.

You have to feel sorry for WayForward and Arc System for having their name on this and associated with Rooster Teeth.

Honestly looking forward to this, even though I've never played this type of game before.

Peach had fallen on hard times.

It's funny how the Bayonetta amiibo has a Sega copyright on it (yet no Platinum copyright), but Sega wants nothing to do with this series. Meanwhile, Nintendo shows nothing but love for Bayonetta.

Sega's like the dad who left to get milk and never came back, while Nintendo is the stepdad who stepped up and loved the child as if it was their own.

@theModestMouse If you're okay with whatever the hell that thing is that you generated through AI, you have VERY low standards when it comes to art.

AI art has no individuality. The art style all looks the same. Not only that, but AI art constantly has mistakes that a REAL artist can fix or wouldn't make in the first place; hands will have missing or extra fingers, eyes tend to be off center, clothes look more like body paint instead of clothes.

At the end of the day, AI art is very unnecessary and the only ones who are okay with it are those who were never artists in the first place.

Helena has an ego. She was being offered 20K in total, but thought she deserved more. The thing is though, she's NOT a high end VA. Bayonetta is her ONLY role, having never really done anything else. She should have been happy with the 20K and leave it be.

If I remember right, the guy who got fired wasn't even an official Nintendo employee. He was brought in from a third-party company for the sole purpose to playtest games as a neutral party. It was the third-party company that fired him for making stupid tweets.

I'll be surprised if more characters are added after this.

I think it's safe to say that Wiglett might be an evolution of Diglett now. The fact that Girafarig got new Paldea exclusive evolution, without even having a Paldea form first, what's to say the se won't happen with Diglett?
