I bought the game at launch but I just started playing after TotK. It's amazing! The made an impossible port! I didn't think the Witcher 3 would ever be topped on switch but hello games did it!

Almost every game Nintendo has on its calendar is a remake. Its unbelievable

@Zuljaras exactly! No third parties, other than indies. Why haven't we still gotten a Madden. GTA 4 or 5, and on and on? At least give us the windwaker/twilight already? Metroid Prime 2 and 3? Borderlands 3 is coming out and not a mention. And that recent leaker was dead on. He called everything. The fzero 99, showtime, donkey king mini game, etc!

@Nintoz no offense but this does not make a great direct. Everyone keeps sounding like a fanboy. This direct was not good at all. Take thousand year door out and it's the worst direct in the last 5 years hands down.

This direct blew! If this doesnt show why we need a Switch 2 nothing will! 2 out of 10! Thousand year door is the only thing i was slightly interested in. Why was Borderlands 3 not in this direct?

Wow this direct just blew outright. I was so disappointed. There was nothing of interest other than the final announcement which was meh.

@Dakotastomp TMNT Mutant Mayhem earned $153 million worldwide box office. The budget was $70 million (that they admit to, see Disney lying about production costs and being sued). Now let's just use their 70 million prod cost and triple it for marketing, ticket splits and it had to make $210 million just to break even. Remember, companies don't get 100% of ticket money as half goes to the theaters. So yes, it bombed. Companies dont spend million to "break even", which it didnt do anyway. But it will probably still get a sequel as Paramount has tied this to a toy line, a TV show and more. And I never go by rotten tomatoes critics as they are shills for the movie companies.

I absolutely love the TMNT. I had every toy as a kid, even the horrid music album (coming out of their shell tour) I was really excited about this movie as I loved the art style. But it sucked.

The Saints games weren't the best games although they were decent GTA clones. But that recent reboot was horrid. The old Saints games made fun of games like the reboot. Saints row was all about making fun or everyone and everything and once you say you can't make fun of this group, etc you get that turd of a game. Tons of people will continue to play the OG 3 Saints games while no one will look back at that reboot fondly. It's sad that it took the demise of a 30 year old dev to show them get woke go broke.

@larryisaman really? I'm feeling depressed with my ToTK game now as I'm almost done. I've done all the shrines, I have all the sages and improvements. I've found all the underground lights. I just about have all the costumes. I've completed every quest except the wells and bobbuls. I'm now mulling over going after Gannon. But I'm sad it's almost over and I'll be forced to wait close to a decade for the next one.

I refused to buy Fifa until they upgraded the game for switch (only console I own). Now that they have I'll be buying it day 1. Do they have indoor soccer? I remember playing Fifa World to road cup 98 on the Nintendo 64 with indoor places.

If EA actually releases FC23 and its a real non legacy version I'll put my money where my mouth is and I'll buy it. I love soccer games but the legacy editions sucked.

I'm so tired of hearing we need X people in X job! We need more women mangers! Why is it always the great jobs we need women but not others? Why isn't there a call to make women garbage workers (which is like 99% men)? What about cell phone tower builders and maintenance? Everyone should be equal not putting one ahead because of sex, etc. Diversity is not a strength in any country. And it's hilarious that they have to fill all of these diversity quotas! In America it's always we need more X people in congress or X job. But you don't see people going to Japan, China, Brazil, Mexico and saying we need more whites, blacks, etc in government. You can't even win Oscar's or awards without having a set number or groups. I mean what does who you have sex with mean for winning awards for movie greatness?! It's all out of hand sadly.

@Classic603 because it's their art. These devs go through painstaking time (7 years almost) to make sure everything you do is specific for the way they want you to experience the game. I understand and I don't care if you want to use the glitches but I also understand nintendo patching them out.

Also, although I don't own Mario Kart on switch, I thought the booster pack gave you like 40 new levels? That's pretty good for the price.

I'm kinda blown away as this game was delayed like crazy and the game is still crap, lol

@RubyCarbuncle u know, I've spent like 30 hours in the game and I haven't even gone underground yet. I keep walking around and then getting into something completely different. This game has an insane amount of things to do. I do wish they brought back fishing though, lol

@Brue no I agree 100%. We're not asking the companies to ship hardware that allows a specific person to ply said game but why is choosing left hand right hand, remapping, etc such oddity with some companies?

@HeadPirate do you remember the dad who made that insane controller so his disabled daughter (?) could play BotW? Now why can't Microsoft or Nintendo (or all three) get together and build a universal controller like this, that can be used on all the consoles and PCs? Something sold online to those who need it? The dads already done the hard part, just reproduce it and make it for all consoles. And just the companies coming together would be a real come to Jesus moment!

@Brue I disagree. I hate DEI with a passion. Movies, games, etc have been created for years with inclusion, etc. I'm so sick of seeing forced inclusion that is shoe horned in and sticks out. Take for instance Saints Row OG, very inclusive all around and makes fun of everyone. New Saints Row, horrible forcing of inclusion that sucks. I'm so tired of seeing you have to have 5% this and 10% this unless you have 15% of this. That's why movies have no creativity because they're too worried about who's banging who behind closed doors. And believe me, people are fed up with this stuff.

But all stop, at this point in history button remapping should be a must. I understand how devs create specific controls to make you feel a certain way but allowing people customization doesn't hurt the 99% of people who play it default. @Max_the_German FSR 1.0 isn't an engine. It's simply an upscaling codec of sorts. There is an algorithm that is used to upscale games. So you could render at game at 480p, use the upscaling algorithm and the output would look very close to 1080p without much hardware resources. Think of it like a reverse video codec. Version 1.0 is software based but Version 2.0 and beyond require hardware to function. But TotK is using the same engine as BotW. So, as I said, Splatoon 3 and sports are using it, not the other way around.

This is BS, they did not create a new engine to run TotK. This is the same engine as BotW, so actually if Splatoon 3 and sports are running any engine it's the BotW engine.

@Zach777 no not yet. They do have 1.5TB microSD cards but beware they are the same price as the 1TB ones were originally. The 1.5TB is $475 and is only produced by Micron. Don't be fooled by fake amazon ones with no names. Only Micron 1.5TB microSD cards are real. I think I'm going tonwait for the 2TB ones and then thr 1.5TB cards will drop in price.

@bransby what is insane is that when you buy a physical game and they know whether the points have been redeemed why couldn't they make it so that you could simply download the game from the store when you don't have the cart on you? Like you register the game. And when the game is placed in another system it unties from the old switch and attaches to the new one. That way you don't have to carry around all those carts. Nintendo always makes things more trouble than they need to be.

@Jimgamer8 I thought the same with GTA V but where is it? I think GTA V on Switch would be sold out for months. We got LA Noire which runs great on the switch and looks great but it's not GTA. But then we saw Grove Street games release that Ness of GTA games collection and I think stuff like that messes with people's perceptions!

@samuelvictor I disagree, I don't want any company messing with my games after it's launched unless they are fixing issues or bugs. We've already allowed companies to get too comfy releasing unfinished games and then patching them later.

Whenever the critics hate it, I love it! And when they love it, I hate it. And if the movie doesn't have a large portion of the woke agenda that's currently popular at this current minute they won't like it.

@CharlieGirl gone are the days when I would watch Attack of the Show e3 coverage over and over. My grandmother use to say, "You can never go home again..." I now think I understand what she meant by that.

If you love these style and genre of games The Sinking City, Vampyr, and the two Sherlock games (The Devils Daughter & Crimes and Punishment) are amazing! And this new game will be another great addition as I love Frogwares engine and game play. The Awakened is actually a remake of a classic game of theirs brought up to 2023 spec. These games fill a much needed blindspot in the Switch's library.

@Jimmy_G_Buckets I checked all the online "systems" to see if they were in stock and then I just broke down and drove to each one thinking maybe it's not in the system yet. Not one store had it and the people that work in the electronics dept. said they didn't get any for sale. No pre-ordered either. What is going on?. This is really odd as I live in South Florida and we have like 50 stores in a 5 mile radius.

I can't find it anywhere. Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart and Target all don't have it in stock and I'm not sure what happened. I think it was delayed as gamestop said yesterday they didn't get the game like they were supposed to. ????

So one of the biggest games of the year just released and not one person on staff is playing it, huh? Hogwarts Legacy just released and no one is playing? Why has there been no news story that says that the game has broken records and when it will be releasing on the switch? I'm dying to play this game and have already preordered but I think it comes out in July? You don't have to mention anything about controversy, etc. Straight facts...

Also it was so hard for me not to buy the Metroid Prime Remaster but I'd rather have it on physical. So I must sadly wait till the end of the month?

The thing I hate most about the switch is no 3rd party support (from anyone other than indie devs). I'm playing Dying Light and loving it on my Switch (it's my only console). The Witcher 3 is another great one. I love single player narrative games and the switch sadly has few unless you want a JRPG. AMD what happened to the cloud version of dying light 2? Aren't we at a year since the delay?

@Rayquaza2510 yeah the reason is bending us over and giving us the high hard one. Nintendo is a scummy scummy company when it comes to their fans and gamers. They attack anyone who loves their IPs. They dont care what the fans want or think, ever. And they overcharge for everything. Yet why do I love them? Lol, because the games are amazing. But adding $50 to the price of the oled switch when prices usually go down is greedy. Charging a ton for the crappy expansion pack that is 1/16th of the deal that Microsoft and Sony offer. I gotta get a Steamdeck, lol.

The first $70 game on the Nintendo Switch was Skyrim Anniversary Edition.

@Giancarlothomaz I think Nintendo is always crazy enough to do this but it will be bad business (although Nintendo has never been a traditional company). Nintendo has enough reserves to be able to fail again if it does happen. But they shouldn't try it. The mobile and console divisions are now combined and the Switch sells like gangbusters. But put out an inferior console to the PS5 and Series x, both of which are about to enter the "pro" life cycle and Nintendo has a flop on their hands. I don't want them to be forced to be a game developer and the Switch 2 is just a money maker. Make it backwards compatible, 4k, same battery life, screen, etc = print money! But as you said Nintendo can AND WILL do anything it wants no matter how crazy.

He left the Witcher as the Witcher writes hate the books and games. He always said he would leave when the series was no longer holding true to the quality. Also he didn't leave Witcher to go to Superman. Superman wouldn't be taking up all his time. The studio signed him to be Superman again so I'm sure he made millions from his Black Adam cameo. Sad as I was looking forward to seeing them square up. So many Cavill haters out there.
