I am finally playing Demons Crest again - this is such an underrated SNES Gem!
Got all the crests and am just going for that real final boss now.
It holds up pretty well im terms of control, graphics and gameplay and has some of the finest music.

I bought an anker powerbank for 20 and it charges my swicht untill 3 times even while playing skyrim or zelda it charges slwoly

If you informed yourself it was 99% clear that some updated versions /revisions would come... Maybe you buy a switch full price and next week is a big sale...
My sister was im the position to buy her switch in june or wait... she just wanted to play now... if it is for the battery -by a 20€ power bank and stop whining... is easy or not?

When you play a game like breath of the wild ob the go you do not need wlan and Bluetooth on right?
I play on long bus trips always in airpane mode that saves a lot.

There is always a newer version on the horizont... this was so with mp3 players, cameras, mobile phones, autos... etc.
That is how this world functions... I see nothing bad in an improved Switch and revised tec. Why shold I feel "cheated"? I had a lot a fun with my switch the last 2 years and if I really would like to "upgrade" I could buy a new and sell my old. I think with a loss of around 50€ I could get a new model....

Ok, take the old Wii Game, upres the graphics and sell it in China

I am sure Nintendo is not hand picking the levels they delete... it is a algorithm that looks for bad vocabulary etc... therefore there is no personal treatment like "Please change the Title in your Level"

Anyway crying over one level... seems like some one need a bit ok publicity

Of chourse everybody has another preference... but for me after 3 shantae games it seema like always the same kind a shallow experience...
same graphic style, same setting, same charakters, same items, same moves...

...especially 1/2 genie heroe was dissapointing in the sense that is was really nothing new and so straight forward hub - stage 1 -hub -stage 2 ... just hope that the next game will be have some evolution.

Definetly the right product at the right time!

There are a lot of other ways to buy or sell used games... anyway I never sell my games.

The last Shantae games where "nice" but not really great... it is always the same - the series has not really evolved over the last couple years. Half genie heroe was even the most linear game of them all...
..just played Hollow Knight after Shantae and was really flashed. This is the best way to see the difference between a "nice" game and a really "great" game!
The switch library is so big the next shantae has to make something big to get me on it.

If you think more in the sense of a NEW 3DS it makes more sense...
Many Switch games use an adaptive resolution: Breath of the wild, Mario Odyssey, Doom, Wolfenstein, etc. If these games run in a Pro Model with a much more maxed out resolution and a more sable framerate would be nice. Maybe even go so far that the Pro Model gets Docked Performance on the go and in Docked Mode just preforms more stable than now with a good 1080 output. (Many demanding Games get just to 720 docked)
I think Witcher 3 could be the first game to profit from such a boost.

The Screenratio looks rather wreid.... too extreme in the widht..
And the corners look too round I think.

Sure the Switch Mini will come soon... Many things like a decent digital Cross instead of 4 Buttons on the left make sense anyway.. but this is 99% just a mockup.

Of his game is good it has a chance on Mobile and Steam - at last to show the quality... and then go to Nintendo...

Why does he not quit and get another job? Complaining but not acting is wreid... if I am not happy in my relation but don't change anything I am to blame to.

I do not say the studio is right or the best company or anything.... but anonymous sources are hard to trust. You want to change something? Then have balls... speak out loud and let the people know so things can change... the rest are rumours without proven substance...

In some jobs is normal to work some hard nighta during the last weeks before a release. I know how that is...

Nintendo often reveals things like this after E3 like the New 3DS or the 2DS...

Hey where are the EVER OASIS FANS???
That game deserves to be in a good spot!

One of my personal hilights was Bloodstained Curse of the moon - while it did not reinvent the wheel, it was really a suprise. I played 4 or 5 times through it just to see all the endings and depending on the constellation of Characters / Mooves you got along the way is was every time differnt to play.
I really wish they would make a direct sequel to this version (not talking about the Metroidvania game that is coming)

Besides that:

• Octopath Traveler was really lovely
• with Smash I have still a lots of fun an a lot more to go
• The Messenger was relly good to...

It was not a bigger a year than 2017 - this was hard to top – but in general a really good Switch Year -> when I think that one WiiU year would have just been like this... would have been the best WiiU year ever...

Well of chourse an editor on a nintendo site is not so much affected into highend Graphics than on a sony or ms page...

I see 2 intresting things in the 2 monster hunter games:
1. Both a really good. Switch Owners get no cut down experience but s more oldschool one

2. On the other hand this time the "hardcore version" is on a nintendo system while the others get the "family treatment"

I bought the limited Edition of Bravel Second and it was talking dust for some time now... But just last week I decided to start Bravely Second as start of my 3DS Project (I want to finish somer 3DS Games before I take my switch once again: Monster Hunter Stories, Ever Oasis, Metroid Samus Returns, Dragon Quest VIII and Fantasy Life)-
I got really fast into Bravely Second and the nice thing is that it starts almost where the first title left... and untill now it it really lovely.

That was found 2 or 3 years ago!?! Wreid someone now thinking he is the "hero"
More wreid is that Nintendolife is posting about it...
How can I get my own news here? Maye I found the hidden "?" Block in Mario Land and say no one ever found it?

Actualy I am really into Yooka Laylee and I think it is e real gem that is misunderstood by some ( a lot?) people. At least the Switch iteration feels like coming home... home to the good old days of the N64, home to the good old Rare Ware and it is just a blast from the past.

Even if I can see that it is for some people to much stuck in the past, for me it is perfect.
I just wanted a new "Banjo Kazooie" and that is exactly what I got.

Yes it is still a good game but a bit hyped... as you say DKTF and Rayman are much better.

If you are not so much into Pokemon amd smash and own all the wiiu ports - like me - it can be a bit of a downer at first sight.

But with Wolfenstein 2, Octopath traveler, Monster Hunter, Okami HD, 2 Southpark Games, Starlink, Megaman 11 a great Mario Rabbids DLC and a massive Xenoblade DLC I can hardly argue that there is not enough!

Maybe I am one of the few who thinks thr Gameis goos but highly overrated... it has the same flaws then the original tri. Leveldesign is between good and mediocre with some spikes and enemies you just will crash in... it is not a bad game. But Sonic never was on the jump n run throne and this "remake" shows exactly why. A pleasant 8 is the highest i could give...

Too much noise and a cheap copy pf what others offer. Well i like and love the simple Design of the shop.

Anyone who knows how to read statistics knows, that after a first period they can make pretty clear ideas about the list.

Look how just when elections close they hafe the first calculations mere minutes after. Why? Because when you have a certain pool of data you can make a good calculation.
Anyway I am pretty sure that 80% of all paricipans in the ballot did this in the first 2 or 3 weeks.

I think all this "reveal" of the dataminer here sucks. The ballot was a good idea and if they used the data or not is outside of the development team only speculation.

Well I have Skyrim since Launch and did not have time... too many good games on switch. But Mario & Rabbids definetly is woth your time and attention. But good time to dip in now. Once started you dont want to finish till the end and then the DLC gives you a nice extra treat.

Finally getting Yooka-Laylee!!! YEAH!,

This Article makes a bigger problem out of it than really exists:
1. it is not that there are millions of hacker Cardridges out in the market
2. if you buy second hand you should always buy from reliable sources and check what you get

Looks much more Woner Boy than Shovel Knight... and still keep in mind that Shovel Knight too is just a "good mix of some good NES games" even when it is up to the day the best "retromix".

When I was younger I had more time to spent gaming, but for me it was always a really social part - playing with my brothers or friends.
In scool and wihle studying I enjoyed playing 1 week through in vacacions.

No I have my typical working time and my spare time is less. Besides I have a 1 1/2 year old daughter which not only needs a lot of atention but I am more than happy to spent any minute with her... so my life has other priorities.
Still I find time to relax with a good game. 2 days a week I travel 2h to work and 2h back - for that time I love my switch

But in general I see that i find it more difficult to complete big games as Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (and I love JRPGs) and am more into shorter bursts of Doom, Mario or some indie Game.

I could think of one more EA Game besides FIFA being shown and revealed at the Nintendo presentation. I think it was pretty obvious that it makes no sense for EA to show between all the graphical big hitters a switch port or something.
Maybe Nintendo could sekure one special deal for something... Sims port or something.

As I have a 2 month old daughter I understand your point really good. I was happy Zelda did not come last November / December, becaus there was no way I could spend even 10% of the time I would like...

I think it is not about the resolution of the games, but the screen - maybe the tablet screen is indeed WQHD, even if games just run at 720p

Why?
1. It is cheaper to use some common screen than an older 720p which is not produced so much more...

2. If Switch will do VR the biggest problem is the lines between the pixels when you are so close to the screen... with WQHD not.
Maybe still the resolution would not be incredible, but the overall experience better than on a 720 scren...
