My son has spent hours making a world.... how can you save / share worlds between users on Switch?

He wants me to have the world as its my account/user that has the nintendo online profile....

ah.... and still awaiting the update for being able to change the Island Rep without having to delete/reset....

so much beauty, just a couple of flaws

Now.... a friend let his youngest try A/C first, not knowing the ‘one island’ rule.... now that child’s character is the resident representative and as he’s got quickly bored (too young) he’s not playing, therefore holding others back - before I get really grumpy about the fact that only ‘player 1’ gets the full joy of the game (naming island / opening challenges) surely they haven’t been daft enough to lock this down aswell?????

I bought the Lite in a deal at Curry's in the UK, £199.99 including Link's Awakening... and then sold the Lite in my office for £190

I was tempted to keep the Lite for the train.... but just couldn't justify it, and I love being able to take the joy cons off. Still £10 for Zelda - get in!

Amazon are removing Prime video support from the Wii U soon.... which I was using as my method of streaming, does this... could this finally mean.... PrimeVideo on Switch ????

Day one purchase - loved Wolf II - love the support they've given the Switch... Love playing games of this quality on the move, makes my commute flllllyyyy by

@Jokerwolf i've only played handheld - but i struggle with the size of the images of the strength / weaknesses - so i'm kinda guessing. Should i be looking deeper into the 'lore'?

i picked up DIII and HP lego - loving them both

given Dark Souls to a friend.... DIII is much more accessible imo

remember.... you can make a UK account and use it to download via the Euro eShop.... you just need to add funds using a credit card or buy a £ eShop card from a website.
I have a US / Jap and UK account on my switch for just such purposes....

as a school governor... money is tight, so i don't advocate schools buying Labo to use, but if it was made available i'd love it to come to my kids school. Anything that stimulates kids brains and gets them interested in "why/how" is great in my book.
As for not using Branded equipment... sadly long beyond that. Apple ipads anyone??

@oji i've bought and enjoyed FIFA18 without spending any money. you can enjoy the FUT by earning coins / selling cards you earn....

worked fine in WC and career mode so far.......
i really liked the graphics / stadium / commentary.... but feel they could have at least recorded the name of each competing country.

I don't see much detail in the review about handheld / on the go co-op... i'm guessing i can't play this on a bus pause to go underground and then restart when i come up above ground?
For me the whole beauty of the switch is portableplay / pause'n'restart... is this game only good for long period play in a fixed location with mates on a fast broadband??
Ie... should i just buy on a different system?

@GrailUK you can now use the WiiU adapter and plug 4 cube controllers into your switch.... i've done it... including a wavebird... mmmmmmmm

@JaxonH i've only had one graphical slow down with Doom... but loads of Sound issues. have you found any work arounds? techniques to help with the sound?

@penfold007 yes... i've spent more on games for the Switch in 10months than i'd spent in the lifetime of any other console... I have had to ebay a few i'd completed to keep up!

For me, as a life long Ninty man... the most magic has been the 'non Nintendo' titles coming over. I am LOVING Doom... to have this full experience on portable...
Skyrim - my first experience of it... wow

Zelda, Mario, Rabbids, MK8, Fifa.... plus loads of eShop purchases

I also love the way i can easily set the parental controls so my kids can only access games suitable for their ages - perfect

@shani i've never played skyrim/doom/noire... because i didn't have time at home, but now i can play them on my commute instead of iphone games and OMG my life is so much more fun, and my commute feels like 10mins rather than 1+hrs!
but thats just me.
Portability is king for me

@Randomlight i ended up cancelling my pre-order with amazon as it was delayed, and I found a copy in Sainsbury's on Saturday - so i rewarded them stocking Ninty again by giving them my hard earned ££

gutted Amazon didn't have enough stock to delivery mine today... even though i pre-ordered in September! saying Monday... fingers crossed, very excited

@geox30 can't recommend Noire... can offer a 'hardly used' copy for sale!
sadly Noire is a beautiful, but joyless version of GTA

@Bod2019 yeah - played Doom for 5 mins on a mates switch yesterday. going to sell Noire (before the reviews come out...) and buy Doom instead

@Bod2019 while you wait for a 'real' review... i've played the first 20% or so... and been totally underwhelmed.
Looks lovely - character models great / world view / map... but its just a dull game.
Think GTA but remove the fun... it takes itself far too seriously. The driving is dull, the 'side quests' are so spread out on the map you want to give up before you get there.
The questioning is multiple choice and i seem to be relying on guess work rather than logic to go good / bad cop...

The main character (thus far admittedly) is so straight down the line you just want to drive him to a bar and get him drunk!

Looks - 9/10
Story - 6/10
Fun - 1/10

Is anyone else struggling with some of the Mario moves?

for example - 'fast swim' Y+ZL .... 9 out of ten times it just does ground pound or throws cappy...

Is there a way to customise buttons? there are buttons left unused... and yet they double up on some and make it tricky

@danielman9 I love FIFA on switch.... but agree... trying to find an online match up is lke waiting for VC to arrive on switch... i've given up

now all i want (having got 120 shrines and a fair few kurok seeds) is the eshop releases of Ocarina and MM.... as i've never owned them. Come on Ninty - i've got money in my pocket - answer my call

overall - having suffered a little drought post Zelda completion... i'm now overrun by great games.... Thimbleweed / Golf Story / Rabbids...

just picked up a copy from Argos as they had it in stock - whereas Amazon was not getting stock back till 9th Oct.

had a great fun game in the office with a colleague - i was really worried about playing on the small screen.... was fine, and with joy-cons. We put the sliders on the joy-cons at half time and that improved access to the shoulder buttons.

first FIFA purchase in my life... was a PES/ISS man on Gamecube

@riChchestM if you press + and then go to quit.... then you can choose 'save and quit' - avoids replaying filler

Really enjoying for the most part, mixing between that and Thimbleweed - both awesome

Amazon now saying "currently unavailable" on Switch - so WFT?

puts more pressure on me completing Thimbleweed before friday... must play harder...

@Wichtel interesting .... i restarted my first game save as i opened all the bonus content worlds and just got totally lost.
maybe i'll reopen it and try your streamlined approach.

its things like 'innocents' that confuse me.... and squads... i am but a simple lad. Really liking I am Setsuna - thats got options, but limited enough!

Soooooo much content... I love it, but struggling to know what/how to do everything - for me there is not quite enough 'hand holding'

I seem to be more of a 'hit it and hope' rather than - plan it and enjoy
