@dionysos283 They cover most of the games, although the two DS games are just featured in the form of the cutscenes in HD, so you may want to source them separately.
@K1LLEGAL But that requires being at home using a TV. The point of them being on Switch is meant to mean that they're finally portable, something not possible on PS4 using Vita Remote Play, due to needong a network connection.
@UglyCasanova It's not exactly killing off a game, they're just updating the old one, which people have complained is like a 2005 flash game for years, whilst putting a new name on it. It appears to work in the exact same way as the old one otherwise.
@SKTTR If it's like the existing one, it won't have microtransactions. That's one of the great things about PTCGO, it doesn't allow you to purchase things in-game with real money, just allowing to use in game currency earned through matches and codes you get from physical purchases.
Considering most people had their annual memberships renewed this month, it's unlike;ly they'll introduce a more expensive tier now. I paid my annual £4 for NSO for the next year already.
It's a decent enough game, I played it the night it came out on Android, but it's definitely not the best Doctor Who video game. There are plenty of others I'd put higher than this, The Eternity Clock for a start (although the unresolved cliffhanger ending still annoys me). The Edge Of Time is also pretty good too. As for lost phone games, this was a fun little one, due to tying in to my favourite media franchise, so I was happy with it.
@Joeynator3000 That's not really a sogn of hacking or cheatong, just dedication to tradong for the cards you want. If you look at commenst just before yours, people will trade whole booster packs in-game for specific cards. Some people have the money to buy irl packs or codes from people who have bought packs, just so they can specifically get the cards they want from the online trade system.
The image on the article on the homepage on Nintendo Life (and in the LEGO Ideas tweet) looks like it contains a LEGO Grian and what is presumably an interpretation of his mansion with the unfinished back.
@Heavyarms55 That's what I was thinking. I'm going to a pre-release event for that tomorrow, so had it been available instore in the UK, I'd have got one of these afterwards (Espeon is my second favourite Eeveelution).
@GloverMist The key word being "public". When it came down to fans just being at filming locations (although distanced to not disturb anything), unlike other actors who at least waved if they had a few seconds, she acted as if the fans were disgusting and was really rude to them. It's quite well known in the part of the community that likes to see what's going on in filming locations.
As a previous Countdown contestant that enjoys nothing more when I have a spare couple of minutes than loading up the Countdown app to do some Numbers game practise. this is the sort of thing I'd get, if it was a little bit cheaper.
@JonComms That's already happened multiple times anyway. They're trying to get more people interested in Jodie's stuff, so have put David into multiple pieces of her media and made David the main doctor for EU stuff again recently.
@GrailUK With people who do gaming videos like lets plays, they often spend a lot of time researching the games to ensure they know exactly what to talk about whilst playing, as well as a huge amount of editing time. At least as far as Chuggaaconroy is concerned (one of the effected parties in this situation), he has been known to spend hundreds of hours over the course of years to put in research before even starting to play a game to ensure he does the best job he can do. To compare it to DJs is a little bit of an understatement because DJs tend to play live (probably more akin to live streamers), so they don't have the work afterwards with editing.
@RupeeClock I did call it when I realised it was a phone number, hoping to get clarification for what it was. Although how my details got in the hands of Fortnite people is news to me. They shouldn't have access to any of my details unless another company has broken GDPR laws.
Japan still gets proper McDonalds toys, yet the UK now has "plastic free" ones. Not fair. I've been waiting for those Rubik's ones Australia got last year to come here, but it seems unlikely now.
@tntswitchfan68 Okami, at the very least, is available physically in Japan. I pre-ordered a physical copy from Nin-Nin Game back a few years ago so I would have it physically on the Switch.
@GravyThief If you get taxi sixed thermal paper, it fits perfectly. I got a box with some rolls of the stuff a few months back and printed some PokéDex entries. When I used the official Game Boy Printer paper it was just a fuzzy mess, but with the taxi paper it was so clear.
I also have the cart of this, but I do have some carts with Pokémon hacks that are flashable (my ones for Mother 1+2 and Mother 3 aren't flashable), but if it came down to it, I have a cart that's made to be reflashed that has a whole 32mb of space, so I may just use that.
EDIT: For anyone wondering how I know the repros I have for the Mother GBA titles aren't flashable, I tried to put a modified version of Mother 3 onto there a couple of months back, which uses the Mato translation (which is already on the repro), but for one small part uses the voice of the official Smash voice actor for Lucas, which is pretty cool as an option, which apparently the new version does already.
I know one of the top PPT players uses the GAMO2 K28 keyboard style controller because it allows them to get super fast Tetris inputs with a similar control scheme to when they play on PC. For a game like that, it works pretty well, although you don't need an adapter for it because it has built in settings for Switch (as well as customisable profiles for it too). It's intended use is for rhythm games, to allow you to play them more like on a PC, with it also having PS3 and PS4 compatibility too.
@VR32X All games with text input work with a keyboard for the tex chat.
@SnackBox I use the InsideGadgets one. Like I said, I got it with the cart I use. They're based in Australia, so if you live outside Australia, you may need to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive.
I sometimes play on my iPad and I recently got this come up. I'll contact Niantic and see if they can undo it. Had to spend a week with no spawns unless I used an Incense, and it was during the Easter collection challenge.
For me, I find it's easier to use one of the flashable carts from InsideGadgets. I got one with 32MB of storage and an RTC and it's great for playing Pokémon ROM hacks or doing randomisers of games. I got it with a cart dumper/flasher too, so I'm using my own cart backups for the base of the hacks and randomisers, which is a legal way of doing that stuff.
I got an email about this from them. Been interested in this for a while, due to it being train related, just never got around to picking it up, so I might as well get it once it goes live here.
It'll be nice to finally own this physically. As a child back in the early 00s, I had a digital copy and then again about 5 years ago I got another digital copy. Both of them were pre-installs, the first on my childhood Master System, the second on the Master System I bought on ebay to relive those childhood memories.
I don't see why people are complaining. It was obvious it would only be one or two choices to start with. The Pokémon Collection was just Pikachu to start with. As for who the choices are, Tom Nook is a character that has appeared in every game, so is well known and Isabelle is in Smash, so they make sense. I see people asking "Why wasn't [insert villager name here] included?" and the answer is pretty obvious, they know that choosing two well known characters will mean they get sales. With the amount of villagers there are, it's almost as difficult as picking Pokémon for the range. If you pick one, you'll get people who love that villager, but you'll also get people who hate that villager and will be much more vocally opposed to the choices made than the ones who are happy and will spend the money. Yes, there are villagers who are mostly universally loved, but when starting a collection of plushes, it's better for business to go for choices that you know are popular, well known, and appear to be loved by the internet. I'll remind you that before Isabelle was announced for Smash, her and Tom Nook were the two characters from Animal Crossing that people wanted in the game, so you can't really ignore the fact that people love these characters. If you aren't happy, just don't buy them. Your money is yours to choose where to spend. Just go support some indie plush maker somewhere like Etsy. You'll have something more lovingly made than from Build-A-Bear and you may even make someone smile by ordering from them. You're also more likely to get a better job done too, because whilst the Build-A-Bear online orders I've made this past year have come out ok (I had the Halloween Unicorn and recently got the Peacock because it looked like Pavé from Animal Crossing), there are lots of cases where what you receive is understuffed, and normally you could go to the store and they may add more stuffing for you, but that's not a luxury available these days. At least with Etsy creators, they aren't just underpaid warehouse workers sat at a machine stuffing thousands of the same plush constantly.
I went to scan my cards in today to find that one of them (Marty) has stopped working. I even checked it with an nfc info app on my phone, which recognised the rest of the set as all being nfc chips, but got nothing from Marty. RIP Marty.
@blindsquarel Bottled water has an expiration date because of the plastic in the bottle. After a certain amount of time, the plastic alters how the water is and it isn't a good idea to drink anymore.
@Sculptor The Wii (and DS) were a different situation. The online servers used for games were owned by another company that was shutting down. Nintendo had no choice because they didn't own the servers themselves.
You say that it "looks like its getting a demo" as if it doesn't already have one. Whilst the demo does have the drawback of being on Stadia only, it does give you some exclusive unlocks in the full game, regardless of the console you play on (although they're cosmetic only).
I tried purchasing this from the Nintendo UK website a couple of days ago, but the link Google gave wasn't working, and when searching for it on the website itself, it didn't seem to know the game existed.

@Darkyoshi98 My story is true, although out of the many people I know who own Switch systems, my friend and I are 2 out of 3 people that have had issues with Joy Con drift. Nobody else I know with a Switch has this issue. I can show you video footage of the drift issues in my original Joy Cons if you want, as well as proof that they've been sent for repair multiple times. I'm not saying this issue is as huge as some are, I'm just saying that it is an issue that does exist for at least a few people.

@RupeeClock I use an actual cart dumper/flasher, so if that's what caused the issue, it likely will work my method. Thanks for the info though.
@Incube8Games Ooh, that's pretty cool. I'll likely still dump a copy just because I enjoy doing it.
Re: Cancelled Game Boy Color RPG Infinity Goes Live On Kickstarter Next Week
@RupeeClock I've not heard of that happening. I'll have to try and get hold of a copy and see if it works using the device I use.
