i dont get why people get pissed at the 60 dollar pricetag, it launched at ps4/ xboxone for the same price aswell.

if you guys are so stuck up on the price, just put it in your wishlist and buy it in a sale

depending on the type of game i play both docked and handheld.
but tbh i find handheld more engaging and play it more often ever since the wii u actually.

its just that more convenient to play a srpg right before your dozing off in bed.

but on the somewhat bigger games, where i trully want the colours to pop, i do find myself frequently popping it in the dock.

with how nintendo is planning releases i feel like this will be a late 2019 or early 2020 game, ugh the wait is unbearable

@knuckles-fajita , I feel like this game will come out, there is no reason why it shouldnt, as it runs on ue4

there is also the chance they might add the 3ds visual style as an option for the switch, so you can play in 3 different visual styles, which would be very cool to me

This article is false, the certificate is banned, not the gamecard itself,.

if you backed it up and put in a gamecard it should still work normally, as long as you have the OG gamecard inserted whilst playing, this is simply a ban towards backed up games

i expect 2 new switch games from nintendo (retro studio's and hopefully next level games)

i also expect 2 wii u ports to make the switch (xenoblade x and tokyo mirage sessions)

my bold prediction will be a 2d topdown zelda for the 3ds

i feel like 2 more new games and 2 wii u ports are the max we get, i am wondering how third party support will stack up

this e3 is going to be very telling going into the future

if we dont get massive 3rd party announcements this e3 or the next following direct, we can almost for certain say 3rd party will stay semi support rather than full support

if let's go is the same in terms of leveling and evolving as mainline and not pkmn go i'm fine with the changes they are making

having the cloud version in japan makes sense cause of the way better wifi than in europe or america.

i agree though if they do release the cloud version outside of japan, yeah wont get it, but tbh i feel like capcom might give us re7 as an eshop release.

this cloud version also brings the question, will mhw come to the switch with the same technology?

both microsoft and sony wont be able to do it, as nintendo upgraded from wii u to switch in terms of specs.

both microsoft and sony cant upgrade their current models that it would work in a switch form factor, so it would be a downgrade over its predecessor which is not a great way to start your marketing

edit: not to mention their will always be a market in the west for 4k+ gaming apart from what the switch offers

i feel like this is more inline with something nintendo internally would do, not let their most expensive studio work on it.

in terms of investment vs returns this may not pan out well and doest seem like nintendo would do as its higher risk than other games.

but you never know

there is a difference between systems what i want personally.
they have been rereleasing nes games forever.

on the virtual console side, sure i want some classics, but in this day and age, i rather have nintendo remake certain games rather than rereleasing them.

virtual console would be great, but as seen by other companies its sure to be death, except for first party games.

companies will either rerelease them now or remake them themselves, which i am completely fine with

wasnt talking about sony having free cloud saving, sony has a solution where you can save data backup via an USB.

its a way to get more money tbh.
back on the 3ds save data was saved on the cartridge, not on the system.

i am sure nintendo couldve done that with the switch, but the main problem would sadly be easyier exploitation.

its a sad state of affair for now, unless nintendo redeems themselves as they did say they havnt been saying everything yet.

cloud saving is great though, especially if they do it based on network ID which would allow you to acces save data on all switches as long as you log on there.

the 2 sticking points to the service is again NES games, we dont want them, we dont need them.

for the other part is the cloudsaving behind the paywall.
both sony and microsoft give the option to backup for free, its kinda bad for nintendo to force us to get the online so we can save our progress and that doesnt even count for every game.

ugh.....

edit: dont even get me started on the atrocity that is called the switch online app.
the price is fine however, that is the only positive thing about this service, that and special (hopefully good) discounts

Mario for me, zelda, with the frame rate issues it has it doesnt deserve to be number 1 this year, top 3 yeah.

mario was perfect in performance, gameplay and overall fun, even though it was quite easy to 100%,

sometimes i am just wondering about some of the dumb things ppl say, i mean come on, there are 2 zelda teams, OFCOURSE there is to be a new zelda in development

and with botw finished that team is working on the second.
people always forget that nintendo has 2 zelda and 2 mario teams

its on par with the ps4 first nine months, which is impressive

nintendo getting bayo as an full exclusive for 2 games now is great, save to say this is a pure nintendo exclusive now

but with oddesey i felt like nintendo trumphed zelda for for the first time, overall zelda is still the best though.
