I can finally enjoy these announcements without having to secretly wish Super Mario Sunshine was the announcement. Haha

@IpwnedU123 I actually wanted Sunshine in it's original GameCube glory but in HD. I lost my original copy and it's expensive new.... I keep my games in mint condition so used was not an option.

@Kev_Morrison there is a rumor Galaxy 2 is unlockable or will be available for free dlc. 👍

The game selection menu in the game is classy and slick. Can't wait. SUNSHINE!!!!!

I pre-ordered my copy of Super Mario 3D All-Stars already thankfully....hate scalpers.

I have waited for over a decade for Nintendo to at least mention Super Mario Sunshine being re-released..so I hold on to this rumor in a fetal position in the corner.....hahaha.

@Joe-b Same here. Look on the bright side, at least you already own a Nintendo Switch....many people are trying to find one and they are sold out everywhere...haha.

@Joe-b Cool man! It's really a fun game! Once you complete Grand Prix, you can play ranked matches online. Online ranks are addicting. I'm seriously getting good at it! I'm glad Nintendo is putting ARMS in Smash Bros. ARMS has so many awesome characters.

@Joe-b I love it. It's really fun with tight controls (I play with the joy-con grip or pro controller....both awesome controls!). You will get the hang of it fast in the tutorials. Great soundtrack, characters, animations and graphics. Give it 30 minutes at least and tell me how it went.

ARMS free trial, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online, Doom 64, Luigi's Mansion 3 (just got it in the mail).

I don't know how I missed the launch date but I'm getting this.

The only one I own is the OG Animal Crossing. It's a classic. Can't wait for the new Animal Crossing on Switch. Something tells me it's going to be something special to grow the franchise even bigger.

I have the app downloaded...I use it for Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Nintendo is about to win BIG if this is true. There is room for all three because the games will sell them easily! I'm sure all games will play on all three but like the PS4 Pro, there will be performance enhancements on some games in the most beefy one.

Can't wait till Switch is over PS4 lifetime in Japan!

@Valdney Absolutely! Ever since I saw the box cover of Super Mario Land on the Game Boy back in the 1989 I have dreamed of a Mario game looking exactly like that! One of the best box arts of all-time!

Maybe Mario Kart 9 is coming and we are being all "Nintendo won't release another Mario Kart on Switch". Retro Studios helped make Mario Kart 7 with Nintendo EAD. Like 50/50. What if Retro has been helping Nintendo with Mario Kart 9 all along?

@Nintendo_Thumb True, but we are simply renting these games not owning them so essentially GameCube access is possible. Also, they will get money from releasing wireless classic controllers like the NES pads. I would surely buy a WaveBird again (that doesn't need batteries and can charge on it's own).

@Devlind You might be right. Who knows if they are planning on a future patch to allow the buttons to work. I think they are afraid if they say "the controllers will eventually work with other games" they won't be able to keep up with production. lol

Then why do they have L and R buttons?

I think the NES games were offered because the world went nuts for the NES Classic. If they brought the N64 first and the world went nuts, then I bet N64 games would be offered first. Nintendo was like "whoa they really like NES" and probably scrambled to get NES on Switch.

I don't have a NES Classic (wanted one and wasn't going to pay ridiculous prices...they are just now in stock for the retail price) so I'm excited to have the wireless NES controller to play them on my lovable Switch. I guess when they run out of NES steam, other games will arrive.

@CupidStunt I think this will a NSMBWii situation in Japan....Nintendo will market nostalgia.....and BOOM goes the dynamite. This game will move 10 million units this holiday worldwide...mark my words.

Probably will at least match PS4 sales early 2019 once Pokemon arrives (this November). The Switch should sell double what PS4 sells this holiday in Japan. But it's a wrap in 2019.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a 10 in my book. It's nirvana karting...lol. But I still want Mario Kart 9 to release on Switch. Besides, they will include all the fantastic favorites from Mario Kart 8 anyway with the classic courses returning but with NEW ones. I understand DLC would be attractive but DLC for Mario Kart 9 eventually would be better...lol. I want to see if the Double Dash mechanic (two racers in a kart will return).
