@rjejr "Mats" is short for "materials", so in this case, "monster materials" like Bokoblin horns, guts, etc.
It's pretty universal game jargon, so keep it in mind.
I'd highly recommend getting the camera quest & 1 of the 4 major dungeons done before going all-in on exploring & filling in the map, because you'll then be able to use the camera & compendium to track down anything you've gotten a pic of in the compendium.
It'll be a huge help for finding treasure chests & rare ore deposits, if nothing else.

@Dev9417 It's really not needed.
Here's the secret; sell off every monster part below black tier [with a few exceptions for arrow fusing] & visit every cave you come across.
Once silver enemies start spawning, switch to selling half the black tier stuff you get on top of that & save only the silver grade.
You'll easily be able to afford every purchaseable outfit without needing to grind, just by occasionally selling off the mats you earn while casually going about your business, let alone the ores.
Duping is far from necessary.

@chardir Exactly!
I easily acquired several armor sets within the first 10 or so hours just by selling off monster mats & completely clearing out every cave I came across of its ore deposits. [Minus the Depths as a whole, obviously.]
I've got more flint than I know what to do with, so I always sell that off fast for small fistfulls of cash.
Mats from black & below-grade monsters pile up fast for me, though, so I sell off horns from Bokos & Moblins for easy money.

#1 Visit more caves. Ores are your quickest source of high-value low-effort cash, & just 1 round of 3 or 4 caves can easily net you enough to afford 1 or 2 pieces of the Rito or Goron sets.
#2 Sell your monster parts.
Bokoblin guts, especially, sell for 20R a pop and are not at all difficult to obtain, but all of the Boko mats under black & silver rank will pile up into small mountains in short order, which will net you a tidier sum than you'd think they would.

Seriously, Rupees are not hard to get in this game.
Not dying in pursuit of the stuff that you can sell for them? Maybe a bit harder, but not by much.

@SilverShamrock
Ok, I'm having a very hard time believing this.
30-35 hours means, unless you have actively avoided every single cave, you've saved up at least a few good ores.
A single batch of 5 or 6 of anything above Amber-grade will easily net you 400R when sold to Beedle.
Heck, selling off a stack of 20 Bokoblin guts, which individually sell for 20R each, which is easy as blowing your nose to acquire, will net you 400R in a snap.
I think you're either faffing around on the tutorial island still [for whatever reason], or you've never even tried selling anything to Beedle.🤣

@Just_2_milky
Probably.
To be fair, though, we often must become monsters, in order to beat much bigger monsters that literally want worlds ended.
And entire huge-numbered species of mooks live on said worlds.

So really, you could consider them sacrifices for the greater good in many games.

That, and it sure would be boring without them, whatever we might say.💗

@Supadav03 I've only played Borderlands 2 so far, of the 3, but the graphics are crisp and the frames feel like a solidly-locked 30fps even during high-activity moments.
The load times are also, thankfully, fantastically fast.
Haven't played multiplayer yet, but after looking/testing my mic out on the title screen, it seems to still support native voice chat, which is great.

@Rexenokid
Neither of those sites are credible at this point, and after the way Birds of Prey flopped [Second worst-grossing DCU film, last I checked], it seems like a lot of media outlets have it out for Sonic as a retaliation, due to a lot of positive press from the majority of movie-goers who've seen it.

I'm gonna see it regardless, but I wouldnt trust review outlet opinions of Sonic right now.
Especially the ones with a left-lean.
