One more title that would benefit from cross-play between the 3DS and Wii U. Who wouldn't like to draw on the bigger touchscreen of the GamePad when at home while also having a portable version for on the go.
For 20€ this surely would've been an instabuy.
For everything above i have to think long and hard when it comes to downloadable stuff.
Especially since Dual Destinies cost less.
The last Wii U update wasn't too great since it took quite a while to install and i couldn't cancel it.
I guess i've got to pay more attention to these articles you thankfully provide so that next time i reckon in some more time beforehand.
Skulltula's rule! Now they may not be as fitting to an action game as they are to the relaxed OoT but if they're placed right they should still be fun to find.
It sounds like this one doesn't have the vertical movement that just made me give up on the otherwise great DS game Nervous Brickdown.
In it there was this world where the ball isn't reflected by your paddle but you have to hit it to make it reach the blocks. This was one of the most frustrating experiences i ever had with a game.
If I could get The Letter for 1€ I’d probably check it out just to see if it really is as bad as everyone says. I know what I’m in for after reading the review after all.
What level of quality is acceptable for a game on a Nintendo home console?
While I’d love if everything you pay money for would be high quality that just will never happen. So as long as I don’t get the impression that the game is unplayable i’m fine with it being released. What’s really ridiculous is that a game like Tennis costs the same as something like Castlevania though. Tennis doesn’t nearly have as much substance imo. That should be reflected in its price.
Will download Mega Man 6, Dr. Mario and probably Pop'n Twinbee this week. Very tempted by Siesta Fiesta as well, but i'll wait for reviews on that one.
Probably why Nintendo won't make it the year of anyone they have in their portfolio. If they're nice enough to 'em Sega might even support the Wii U VC. Maybe.
@zipmon Yeah, i can imagine it's very hard to keep your finger away from the D-Pad after the first game. Kudos for that sadistic twist, Spicysoft.
And the DLC prices sound decent too. Good to hear.
I can imagine that if Ninty's message wasn't "play games like you've never played before - on Wii U" anymore people would be even more confused what the system really can do. I wouldn't want to risk communicating my strengths for something that just works better on dedicated tablets.
I hope this one will support the Wii Classic Controller. I'd like to play this in two-player co-op with one player handling the GamePad and the other controlling the movement with the left and the flashlight with the right stick.
Or maybe Wii Remote + Nunchuk, controlling the flashlight with an on-screen cursor.
I'll probably not get a Wii U Pro Controller just for this game alone.
@SageWaterDragon The proud "born in 1984" me somehow read a "were you given birth after 1983 but yet have owned the console before the Super Nintendo appeared" between the lines.
And still i wasn't in the mood to talk about my experience with the console at that time. In hindsight i shouldn't have posted anything at all, i agree.
House cites data which suggests that 40 percent of PS4 owners didn't have a PlayStation Plus account previously, which could mean they were upgrading from the Wii
Or maybe and just maybe it's just because you didn't need one for online play on the PS3.
Also: Remastes or re-imaginations from PS3 franchises? No backward-compatibility? I love it when a plan comes together.
If these were € prices and coming to a store near me i'd definitely bite with Tomodachi Life and Bravely Default or Mario Party: Island Tour. A black Wii U Pro Controller for 30€ i couldn't resist either.

Re: Details of Bayonetta 2's Online Co-Op "Tag Climax" Mode Emerge
Take a cue from this, Kid Icarus: Uprising Higher. You could be just as awesome on Wii U.
Re: Sonic Boom Release Dates Are Confirmed for Wii U and 3DS
If i had to choose one version just by looking at the boxart i'd go for the 3DS one. Sticks looks so much better than Amy.
Re: Skylanders Trap Team on Wii Will, Surprisingly, Come With a Free Download Code for the Wii U Version
Should be nice if you've got a Wii U and want to bring it along to a friend's Wii-only house.

Re: Review: Pick-A-Gem (3DS eShop)
I'm too picky for this game.

Re: Tomodachi Life Stage Drops Into Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
Isn't Tomodachi Life a brawler already? Or are my eyes deceiving me?

Re: Feature: Ten Wii U and 3DS Games That Are Perfect For Summer
Next list better include some Fluidity / Hydroventure, Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars and Kickle Cubicle or i'll lose my last remaining faith in mankind.

My biggest pet peeve? Games like this one.

Re: Feature: A Week of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Screens - Issue Forty Seven
Would've been interesting to see Rayman as a fighter in this game.
Re: Ubisoft Confirms Exclusive 3DS Mode for Tetris Ultimate, Along With Online Features
Another game that makes me wish it'd be simpler to have it work on both the Wii U and 3DS and that cross-buy was all over the eShop.
I don't read online multiplayer anywhere though, which would be quite a shame.
Re: New Hyrule Warriors Playable Character to be Announced This Week
Smash Bros. vs. Hyrule Warriors, who will have more characters?
Stay tuned!

Re: Toyota Brings Pokécars to Tokyo Toy Show
@Naoiko Ain't nothing to worry about. They're the most theft-proof cars ever with their electrocute- and flame-protection.
Re: Nintendo of Europe Launching Wii U Virtual Console NES Remix Promotion
I'll probably get Dr. Mario depending on how high the discount really is.

Read the whole thing now and i hope i can still play the game in English even when downloading it in the German eShop.

I'd take cross-buy like they do with Squids Odyssey as a compensation.
Re: Violetta: Rhythm & Music Coming To 3DS, Wii and DS, Yet Shimmying Past Wii U
There was a flesh palace called Violetta in the city where i lived as a child. This name will never sound right to me.

So that's why Iwata stopped by the house yesterday.
Re: Guide: All You Need to Know on Mario Kart 8 Characters and Kart Customisations
Good to know that about acceleration. Guess i'd never have figured that out on my own.
I haven't played any multiplayer yet but if this is true it's a bit of a shame since i like seeing as many different characters online as possible.
@DaemonSword Might this be what you're looking for?

Yes and yes.
Re: Review: Bike Rider DX2: Galaxy (3DS eShop)
I wouldn't mind this coming to Europe for 3€.
But there's no mode that's disabling the D-Pad, right?
Would also be interesting to know what the two DLC packs cost.
