@SuperNictendo It's worth pointing out that Digital Foundry posted this article yesterday with Eurogamer's Switch review, before the update was released.
In terms of the fix, people say you need to install the update, attach the Joy-con and then restart the console.
The problem with their BotW test is that it's based on version 12S, which is the Switch version of the E3 demo, not version 1.0 which was played by the Treehouse team.
Reminds me of Splatoon, so it's definitely one I'm looking forward to! We know from the Treehouse stream there are more characters and weapons/gloves coming either at launch or post. I'm guessing there'll be more modes, especially for online matches.
@supercreeps Based on a recent update for the Neon version, GAME have received a number but just haven't removed that message.
'Please Note: We have reached our initial allocation of this product, but we are working with Nintendo to bring in more stock for launch day, and you will be updated weekly with how we are getting on and when you can expect to receive your Switch console.'
Do these people not realise I have to sleep?! First the presentation, then Famitsu, then the Treehouse, then this livestream. My eyes will be falling out of my skull!
@Great_Gonzalez Not only has Brexit not happened, but it probably will never happen. Add to that the fact that we wouldn't get the US version because we're still in the PAL region.
@DanteSolablood Thing is hardware leaks can always become inaccurate, especially after such a long period of time. I mean, the 3DS had a Tegra in its dev kit, but the final console did not.
@natsuki It has a plus symbol on the 'Get' button, denoting in-app purchases. Immediately that informs you that it's not strictly free. Again: 'If you fail to read it, it's your own fault. Trying to pass the blame for other people's mistakes is just ridiculous.'
In reality though, you are judging people: the majority of people out there understand how these things work by now (especially after around 7/8 years of this), and they're not as stupid as you're trying to make them out to be. It is overwhelmingly due to a sense of entitlement - they believe that Nintendo should cater to them and give them exactly what they want - over a lack of understanding.
@natsuki Yes, I have an iPhone. The App Store has the same functionality as the website. Once you click on the icon, you scroll down and there's the description, saying exactly the same things. If you fail to read it, it's your own fault. Trying to pass the blame for other people's mistakes is just ridiculous.
@natsuki 'it's because they think they are getting something for free but it turns out it actually isn't.'
Yeah, because Nintendo doesn't actually say that in the game's description on the App Store:
'*Access to all 6 Worlds subject to purchase.'
'*You will be able to download and enjoy a portion of Super Mario Run for free and can also enjoy all of the game content available after paying a set purchase price.'
'Top In-App Purchases
Worlds 1-6 £7.99' https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/super-mario-run/id1145275343?mt=8
If anyone thought the whole game was free, maybe they should actually read the description before complaining.
@natsuki 'it's because people feel like they are scammed and it seems falsely advertised' Despite it not only mentioning that only the first three levels are free, but you not having to pay anything to access the game in the first place. You cannot be 'scammed' if you're getting something for free.
@Samurai_Goroh Literally one of the comments: 'Why do u have to buy the ready of the levels that's just sooo dumb [...] U guys just want money you've taken it too far.'
Another one star review says: 'Not a bad game only been playing for five mins.'
'after you get to world 1-4 they want you to pay £8 to play the rest of the game .......um no thanks'
Surely the more interesting point is that the Switch was the most searched console which, considering it was only revealed less than two months ago, is pretty impressive.
The game was rated in Australia yesterday, and the length of time between rating and release can vary. It's possible that it may actually be coming out in June, but it might also come out in March. Who knows?
It's best to be wary: obviously these numbers could go up after the presentation in January, but do we really want the Switch to have an install base of 15m? After the Wii U?
Honestly surprised about this given Nintendo published the game, and must have also funded it in some way. I'm guessing WB gave them a good deal on something.
@Peace-Boy To when did you go? Where I went, everyone was raving about the Nintendo eye - even the bus driver I was talking to who wouldn't stop playing Pokemon GO!
@UK-Nintendo Why? It wasn't a good game. There's always F1 and (if they own the rights) DriveClub that could come to the Switch given Codemasters are one of the third-parties on the list.

Most likely right. Remember how the Breath of the Wild amiibo was listed as being released on the 4th March?

@whodatninja No, it's not. It's reeeeeeally not.

One is essentially a remaster of a game Nintendo is selling, and the other isn't even good. How either ended up in that category is amazingly bad.
