@GrailUK anime, Manga, Novels, A few games (one I believe was on the Dreamland and released in the US). It hasn't had much lately, that's necessarily something a western fan would have likely stumbled on. But it use to be a fairly well regarded fantasy anime in the early to mid 90's.
@russell-marlow i think rumble was actually added in a second version that got released in Japan (got the international version fixes + rumble in that release).
@Clarice I doubt it. As far as how advertising fees work, any interaction is still engagement. Not commenting would be better for fighting these articles, not reading them would be even better.
@fafonio why would any of that make me stop playing? PUBG sued them and lost. Apple is notorious for it's walled garden and how it screws devs. And why would them aping Among Us (which takes most of it's mechanics from older tabletop games) effect my want to play it regardless? I mean Epic isn't some bastion of greatness or anything. But they are hardly some pariah.
"the team didn't patent Among Us' mechanics"
Well since they didn’t invent the base idea, pretty easy to see why they wouldn't try and patent it. Also it's doubtful that they could patent a game relatively simple mechanic. So I don’t really think it's particularly commendable.
@SwitchForce The best you can say about Goodwill (and a lot of big Thrift store operations) is it provides cheap goods. Most aren't good to the majority of their workers, and are overly good to upper management. If I could find a better choice between goodwill a d the trash for my lightly used goods, I would. And sometimes Goodwills actions make me question not just trashing my things.
@XBontendo that's not totally fair. It was originally set up to help poor folks obtain used goods without begging, and to give them jobs. It however takes huge advantage of a 1930's era law that allows them to pay below minimum wage (the idea of that portion of the law was to keep otherwise unemployable people employed). Now that isn't necessarily fair and Goodwill has exploited it quite a bit (to pay otherwise employable people less, sometimes lowering their pay). The YouTube channel Illuminaughty has a good video on them and the Salvation army. But let's just say if I could find another place to give my kids old but good toys to that was better, I would.
I think at this point the most likely is a successor console with backwards compatibility (and hopefully less drift). But I wouldn't think it would happen until at atleast 2023 (enough time not to piss of owners of OLED version and to get cost effective tech to get more 3rd party games). Just my layman's opinion.
I would be more excited if we at least got all 3 gameboy color games. I own the remake for Link's Awakening (and it is beautiful) but it would be nice to play the 2 capcom ones and enhanced port.
@WallyWest I mean it's Smash, being well known is hardly a requirement to be included (since they added Fire Emblem characters at a time when no FE games were released outside of Japan).
@Luigisghost669 It would be more in line with making my own chair to the exact same specifications as the one you discontinued. It's an infringement of your IP but it isn't the same as me taking physical property from you (the arguable harm would be that if you decided to sell it again you would be competing against the infringing items created, sold, or shared).
@fafonio I liked the Sw and Sh art style. Could have used some tweaks, but considering they weren't even willing to do all pokemon, I wasn't surprised that they cut corners a bit on the models and textures.
@HIGHscores85 Oh yeah. There was an uproar in Korea over the one ship in One Piece having it displayed on it. Also in A Certain Scientific Railgun one character had it removed from his shirt to get ahead of any offense.
@Cevil it's a bit different. Microsoft makes it available on computer, and I think it's attempting to get it on Android and IOS. Where as Nintendo's subscriber service is pretty much just for Switch.
The lite having the issue is why I won't buy my daughter one. She's a little small for the full sized one and I don't want to have to send the whole console in to get a stick fixed.
I liked Glover ok. And it's neat that they are finishing up 2. Bit honestly I would wrather a remake. Same way I felt about Podracer being rereleased. Eta: Also wish Mario 3d Allstars had come with the ds enhancements for 64.
@Minish-Cap Pretty sure Crystal Chronicles was a source code port. With the left out features and microtransactions added. I could be wrong though. You could edit a rom, or they could have effectively altered the source code and compiled it as a GC game and then wrapped it in a emulator.
@AlexSora89 There's also the argument that an older game likely should be discounted. I mean decreaseing the price brings in sales you likely otherwise wouldn't have gotten for a multitude of reasons (i.e. maybe some the remaining people simply don't agree that your game is worth the initial price for them).
@COVIDberry What misuse of KS? They definitely screwed up on stating the VAT and such, but I assume you mean something different since you seem to reference that as a seperate issue.
@PickledKong64 How so? Kickstarter doesn't require that a product require successful kickstarting to use their platform. It's pretty common for companies to use KS to gauge interest, and that isn't a new thing. I would say they seem to have violated KS's terms by only adding that small ttext after starting.
@JoeM103 I forgot to explain ray tracing. Raytracing is a way of handling lighting where it simulates how light (the ray) interacts with the environment (the tracing). In Crysis a good example is how the light is blocked based on foliage. If I remember correclty the shadows very in intensity and shape based on the foliages design (i.e. thicker foliage = deeper shadows that conform to the foliages leaves). Hope that clears up what they mean.
