@WolfyTn I hear ya. The DBZ stuff is annoying but honestly I've found great pleasure in blowing away weeb after weeb after weeb. Lol. The DBZ skins are accurate representations but look RIDICULOUS in the game. They seriously look like giant sports team mascot suits. Lol! There are so many "giant-heads" running around and they make for easy targets. 😆 🤣 😂

Don't like DBZ at all but I think its cool they went all in with this crossover. Hoping they do more like this going forward that ARENT more Marvel or Star Wars things.

I understand pandemic blah blah but still...this is kind of depressing. And extra ironic since BotW2 is being built on the foundation of an already completed game (assets, engine, etc).

I feel confident that this won't be the case, but I'm praying they don't pull a Splatoon 3 and have BotW2 just be morenof the same old thing. I'll need a huge new gameplay mechanic to really be hyped. Not to mention an actual story...

Am I the only one that really wants to be hyped for this game but just...isn't?

Sadly, this game just won't sell anymore as its time on the hype train has long passed. I doubt it will ever see the light of day at this point. Maybe they can just drop it in the NSO Expansion Pack?

Actually, just a few hours ago me and my three kids took our last shopping spree. Them with thier 2DSs and me with my New 3DS XL. It was really weird basically saying goodbye to the 3DS eshop forever especially since I got it right after my oldest child was born. Now she is almost 12! I remember playing with the AR cards while she was a baby on the floor. SUCH fond memories with the 3DS...

@NinjaNicky Oh man I didn't even think of that! I would be so pissed if the heroes in a half shell showed up in thier new dumb iterations! Give me the 80s live action designs! Haha. Yeah, I'd for sure break and buy those if it happened.

@Pikki I just can't believe they didn't do some JP skins a few seasons ago when they literally had raptors and dinosaur paddocks on the map! I was sure they would introduce the jeeps and at least a Grant and Malcom skin...

Not a DBZ fan but at least its not another freaking Marvel or DC character so I'll take it! Those bright orange gis will make for nice distance targets. Haha.

I literally casually said this game looks too samey right now and I hate to tell you that a lot of people are saying the same thing. If it works for you, great.
If they introduce something like an open world campaign or multiple towns or something that would be promising. But if this direct doesn't reveal a major new gimmick or gameplay modes, this series I fear will fall into being another Call of Duty or NBA2K. Same game with a new number on the box.
I'm eager to see what they reveal but not overhyping myself.

This is thier last chance to convince me that this game isn't just Splatoon 2.5. Looks extremely Meh so far.

The character designs are one of my biggest turn-offs for this game. Its just painfully generic anime tropes.

I dunno...XC2 burned me so bad with its dumb character designs, poor Switch performance and bland environments. Played it for about 5 hours then had to sell it. I'm scared this will do the same. Can anyone confirm if it feels different than 2? (I really enjoyed 1 and X.)

Apparently 5 years is too soon because to me, it looks to be exactly the same game as Splatoon 2. The only reason I got 2 back in the day was because I knew the Wii U was dying and 1 would soon be irrelevant.
If I saw 3 gameplay footage and nobody told me otherwise, I'd think it was either of the first games...

I knew something special was happening the moment I found myself playing Breath of the Wild on top of a Mayan temple in the middle of the Mexican jungle.

Still want to buy it but will continue to wait until the game is done. Then we'll see.

This poor, poor game. Nintendo being its totally weird self will 100% cause the game to be dead on arrival. Honestly, I bet the game will never be released. It'll just be bagged and canceled.

Does it have a mode that makes it actually perform well tho? Right now it looks like a PS4 game modded to run on a DS.

@Sarkos I'm in the same boat. LOVED Xenoblade Chronicles 1 but hated 2, mainly because of the terrible character designs. I just couldn't get past it. These ones look a little better, but not much...I'll probably pass.
