Can't wait to pick mine up! My launch day unit is very tired and my kids are old enough now to have it as theirs. I play a lot in handheld so this is gonna be great!

Its out now and seems it FORCES you to have a battlenet account to even start up the game. Even for offline play. Even after scouring the internet I still can't find anyone thats talking about this. Am I the only one that thinks this is insane? How can they charge $40 for a game and then hold it hostage until you sign up for their shiz? Didn't ID Software do this for the Doom collection then removed the wall a bit later (when they realized they were losing sales)?
Anyway, SOOOO grateful I just downloaded it for free from my cousins account and didn't pay for this trash.

The response to this has been...interesting. I've learned that the vast majority of people don't understand how film making and adapting ideas for the screen works. I've also learned people will find a way to politicize anything.

Even if you personally dont like some of the cast, Chris is awesome, they are all great at thier jobs (which is ACTING...meaning pretending to be something they're not) and this movie will be amazing! Miyamoto wouldn't let it be total trash.

Cannot wait for mine!!! My highly used day 1 model is very tired and I recently ran out of space on my SD. The extra 32GB will actually be super useful. And I'm a huge handheld player that wished from day 1 that the kickstand was better. Never seen an OLED display in person so I'm pumped for Dread to melt my face off on it.

I'm still baffled by Bluetooth support. Also baffled by the awful news of no mic support hiding inside the Trojan horse of Bluetooth support. Haha

DID I SERIOUSLY JUST READ THIS? Like, this can't be real... Nintendo just quietly slips in FRIKIN BLUETOOTH compatibility? My most desired missing feature since day 1?? I didn't even know the Switch could technically do that!

An FF9 remake would be the best thing ever. Also Chrono Cross would be amazing.

Finished enough. It was an awesome game but with absolutely zero story...it was kinda one and done for me.

I've resented pokemon for a long time for not ever innovating and being firmly cemented in the past. They insist on always being 2 or 3 steps behind and yet we still support them.
It will never happen, but I'd kinda love if a game like this truly gave them a run for thier money.

I do find it illuminating though (no pun intended) that they seem to be digging deep into the franchise's roots. Sounds to me like we will have an 'origin story' template of them being actual plumbers, being transported to the Mushroom Kingdom, meeting Peach, Bowser, etc. I like it!

Picking up Dread and the OLED day one. Then me and the kids are building a fort and playing it like me and my bro did in the 90s with Super Metroid.
Me and the kiddos have played through all 4 together. HYYYYPE.

Can't wait to play this. I'm thinking it will be extremely successful just because it's on Switch. It will look very pretty on my new Switch OLED which I'll get just a few weeks before.

I personally believe the reason the debate doesn't go both ways and the scales are not balanced is because Christianity and its values are specifically under attack while all the other things are not. People have abandoned the Lord for the world. That's all I'll say on any of this. I give this comment section approximately 1 hour before it gets shut down. Lol

Love point and clicks and the overall concept but looks like it may be sacrilegious which I'm not cool with. Hard pass.

Personally, I think the Steam Deck will be dead on arrival. The PC Master Race folks woth one foot in the console door may get it and then it will disappear from memory.

Loving it so far! I only wish the frame rate was better. It goes from 60fps to like 15 all the time.

I 100% understand those who don't feel its worth it to upgrade. For me, it happens to be worth it for a few reasons:
1) I have a launch unit and the shell is scratched up and tired. The top vents are broken and the back plate is slightly warped. This thing has been through the ringer.
2) As a launch unit, I skipped the 'red box' version but still crave that slightly improved battery life.
3) I play 80% handheld and have never experienced an OLED screen. Plus, I use even this crap OG kickstand a lot. The new one will be amazing.
4) Just recently I ran out of internal and SD storage so the slight increase will help a lot.
5) I have kids who now want a Switch and my current one is perfect to give to them once my OLED arrives (and once they earn it). Then we can use features in games that require 2 Switches (like Mario Party).
6) The new white joycon will bring my total to 8 (4 pairs), enabling me and the kids to all play Smash with complete controllers.

My buddy is downloading it and he is on my NSO family plan so I'll download it for free as its only 7GB.

Best Buy had measures in place with multiple step check out and disabled shipping options (pick up required) which was nice. It still ran out of stock in like 5 minutes but I was able to grab one.

Can't believe I secured one through BestBuy! They seem to have a few measures in place to block bots which is nice. About 4 minutes after I secured mine, the buy button reverted back to "Coming Soon"...whew!

Had one in my gamestop cart then 1 minute later it refreshed and said its now out of stock...lol

@Realness Thats exactly my attitude. I'll try for one since my launch unit's body is dying and my kids could buy it from me if I upgrade. Not to mention I play mostly in handheld mode. If I lose to the bots however, I'll shrug it off and move on.

@Crono1973 I only use acronyms when its a brand new game thats currently making the rounds and can be logically guessed by most people. MONSTER HUNTER STORIES 2 just came out. To give you a leg up in this race, in the next few weeks you might see SSHD. This would mean "Skyward Sword HD". Now you're set up for success!
And also...I meant if you've never played Skyward Sword, you're in for a treat.

Kinda surprised to see all the hate for it. Its one of my favorite games in the series and despite its flaws, trumps even BotW for me because of one simple reason: it actually has a story. Arguably the best story in the series with Link and Zelda actually having personalities. Some of the best boss battles too! I found the original's motion controls to be almost perfect so any improvements is just icing on the cake.

As far as the amiibo goes...I'll just download it to my Powersave and be good to go.

I loved this game too for all the same reasons.

LOVE this game and can't wait to play it again on Switch...it just won't be day 1. I have a few other games to play first.

I wanna get one of I can. I can actually really use the little bit of extra storage and my launch unit is falling apart. Not to mention I play more in handheld than docked. For me it's completely justified.
