Ever since I watched RagnarRox's video on this game I have wanted to play it and I still plan on waiting for the Switch version.

After a year of relative silence from Nintendo the Game Awards, as cheesy as they may be, would have been a great place to remind everyone that they are still working hard to make fun experiences for everyone. Nintendo spoiled the surprise before the show and had nothing else to reveal. Microsoft had a few things, including a new Perfect Dark which is why we’re talking about Microsoft on NintendoLife. Nintendo was kind of a let down last night.

@Chowdaire I’m super disappointed by the announcements tonight. Usually there are a few games that interest me but I think the only thing new that surprised me was Season.

It certainly checked all the boxes for the people voting.

@Crono1973 if a company is consistently selling product that under-performs or doesn’t perform at all, that company will lose customers and will go out of business. Generally companies want to stay in business. In an open market there is healthy competition for consumers money. It is that competition that makes manufacturers and retailers provide warranties, returns, and refunds.
Sometimes there are scams out there. Buyer beware. If you feel that Nintendo is scamming you because your Melee disk no longer works or your Pokemon game doesn’t have Shaymin or your joycon moves as if possessed by deoman, then by all means spend your money elsewhere. Ideally we are all free to make those decisions.

Honestly, I would say don’t bother worrying about Cave Story 3D. It lacks all of the charm of original (and upgraded) 2D art. It is a muddy, washed out experience that makes the platforming and combat difficult.

Great concept. Terrible platforming and paint brush mechanic.

I only speak English but I have games with box art in languages I cannot read. It’s not that big of a deal. Just pick on language and make the box art look nice.

Doesn't really seem like a roguelite. It just seems like it has procedurally generated stages.

Almost every genre is over saturated and you don't have to be a fan of every genre or every game in a genre.
This game is only 12.99. This to me is a great price to grab one day and play even if only for a few times.

Adventure, Super Star, The Amazing Mirror, and Air Ride are my favorites.
Epic Yarn is great but and way better than it was perceived when it came out.
