First game I have ever pre-ordered, really glad to have this. fully physical as well!

3 Houses and Dread were my favorite switch games. I'd been hoping to hold off until Christmas for this one, but you guys are forcing my hand here.

This will be my wife and I's first stab at mandatory co-op. Wish us, and our marriage, luck.

Might play with motion controls, just for some wii nostalgia. could be fun.

I respect the classics but I loved the dread graphics and would prefer the polygons to pixels. Pixel can still work, but let the indie studios go nuts with that. If I'm paying $60 for a metroidvania, I want something as visual stunning (or moreso) than prime 4 and dread. I too am eager for a 2d metroid though, whether it be ravenous or super metroid remake, both day 1 buys for me.

I am extremely concerned they are going to drop the ball with this game.

the moment I see reviews deeming this version as "playable" I'm purchasing this.

weirdly enough videogamedunkey helped me come to a similar realization as well, watching his old videos. trying a bunch of new games I wasn't open to previously.

One of my favorite things a game can do is offer a massive amount of QOL and difficulty settings, so I may have to support this one out of principle alone. very nice.

the protagonist definitely looks like someone beset with visions in his sleep. buddy looks extremely sleepy

Did not expect to like this game as much as I have.

I see a lot of folks complain about the square enix merger. I personally am not old enough to really have any thoughts about the entities pre-merger, maybe the merger was actually harmful. However, I am quite fond of modern square enix. This is great and I can't wait to download and try it out.

I was opening up to the idea of this one, but this review seems many of my fears were probably justified. I think its a real shame that this game doesn't look absolutely gorgeous in handheld, I feel like that should be requisite for a title like this.

my only question, as someone not technically inclined, is whether or not this means devs will be able to figure out how to get games to run at a higher resolution without game chat forced to be on? Feels promising but i know nothing.

In a vacuum I prefer physical, but if the cost for digital is reasonably cheaper I'll do it.

Considering this is their best bundle offering to date, and the price increase soon after I imagine this will be incredibly popular.

Have this game for PC, but only got a few hours in. I would like to finish it on Switch 2, I assume there is no way for me to carry over my save file?

Weird time to be asking for this, because we technically had one last week, but a direct would go a long way. Getting some idea of whats coming in terms of exclusives, as well with updates on some 2026 games without dates (looking at you, FE:FW), and toss in some NSO additions would really help community sentiment. I'm loving my S2, but people are eager to learn more stuff man!

hopefully this one gets a real demo, because currently I don't intend to buy. But in the last month I have purchased 2 games that I otherwise would not have, had I not played the demo.

How much of a S2 cost is the screen though? Prices are going up due to RAM cost anyway, primarily. Say a TV only switch costs $100 less than the new updated price, how many people are going going to balk at 450 hybrid vs a 400 console only?

Feel like the savings would have to be very substantial for it to actually persuade consumers.

To me, this reads like an analyst saying the year may be fiscally quiet. I don't read this as quiet from a content perspective. But hey, who knows. Maybe this guy loves him some Donkey Kong, and fears we will not get another entry in the next fiscal year.

I've got mine, but desperately trying to convince my pals to pick one up asap so we can play multi-player stuff online. A lot of hesitancy, but I think a couple of them will succumb. Either way, I'm having a good time.

What was the last game where character design was discussed this much? Don't even feel like the DK changes were this discussed

This game gets everything right, it continues to blow me away. Every day in there is whatever you want it to be. Some days I'll just explore, others I'll craft habitats or design my areas, or maybe just hang out with the pokemon. Such a fantastic game.

Have never played a game like this and have no idea if I'll enjoy it. I'll wait and see how the reviews are, but I'm growing quite tempted.

this game came out 16 days ago? with how much press it's been getting, feels like it came out months ago. Not complaining, hoping to get a copy of it later in the year myself. loved the demo

This is not a franchise I've played, but hopefully this is the harbinger of additional content for this IP. Not a day 1 buy for me, but if the reaction is positive I'll look to pick it up.
