It’s probably because they’re in the middle of a controversy right now still, not because of polishing the game. I’m sure they’re waiting for ā€œeverything to blow overā€

How about this: An in-depth Subspace experience with only the original N64 fighters (plus maybe a handful more Nintendo only characters) and then call it a day. It’d be a nice spin-off.. because I DOUBT that they will be able to get all these companies that Ultimate partnered with to get into another sequel in the future. Like I’m sure Sora alone was hard to obtain for this one game…

It’s gotta be a spin-off otherwise it will only be a disappointment.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Gives Its Assessment Of The Switch OLED Model

I always listen for DF’s assessment, and they convinced me to make the upgrade. This is just what I’ve been waiting for since I really don’t like playing in handheld with the current Switch’s screen size. I think this upgrade will make the experience on an airplane much better too as I always find myself squinting to see the screen when it’s sitting on the food tray on the seat. Come on Nintendo, don’t let me down! My $350 is at stake and I’m willing to give it a shot! 😁

Re: Minecraft Gets Some More Sonic Content In Awesome New Event

For me the Sonic dlc on Switch is TERRIBLE. The game freezes for about 30 seconds at a time.. like 4 times a level. Anyone else have this issue? I have never had any other switch game do this.

Edit: To clarify, the main Minecraft game itself I have never had one problem with. It is specifically this Sonic DLC that runs extremely poorly causing not just frame rate drops, but actual freezes that last a long time, maybe 4-5 times per Sonic level. A patch needs to happen fast!!!

Re: Random: The Internet Reacts To The New Switch OLED Model

I think this was a smart choice, and it is definitely an indicator that Switch’s life span in the market isn’t over yet. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my switch (since it’s now 4 years old), but making a Switch pro with 4K and better ram/cpu would divide their userbase. Kind of like how the New 3DS had exclusive games that sorta failed… I think the only missed opportunity here is Bluetooth audio support. Other than that, this is exactly what we needed as a soft upgrade!
