Re: Premium Pool Arena Pops Up On The Switch eShop Today

@pbb76

no "story mode" just practice, beginner,hard,expert,hardcore these are all single games and theres the multiplayer etc. i dont mind pool games and the gameplay seems ok. although with the pro controller the analogue input is a little too sharp and the aim keeps going either side of the cue ball instead of the centre where i want it (if you understand that) this can probably be adjusted in the options and i will look into that..........................

can i ask nintendo life to please replace that trailer with th eswitch trailer as the reason i bought this game was for the online play i saw in that trailer. dang i should have bought floor kids haha.

Re: Review: Floor Kids (Switch eShop)

@shani i didnt see it at e3 and i sold my switch and bought a new one so maybe it was shown in a direct suring the time i didnt have my switch, but yeah this is honestly the first i have seen of it.

Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)

@Aurumonado it doesnt affect it at all. this was my first thought as ive bought this game on xbox and pc already, after buying it on switch i instantly noticed howmuch it felt the same.

its the small buttons and the low resolution that affects gameplay more than it should. great game on all platforms and runs greatly on the switch i just struggle playing in handheld mode due to the small screen size and low resolution. not tried it docked though.

Re: Review: Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)

ive just had to buy this digital as im going on holiday today to the only place in england without a game shop. i hate going digital and always prefer retail as i cant justify paying the same price and getting no cart, no box, no artwork. but sometimes you have to do what you have to do

Re: EA Won't Entirely Rule Out Star Wars Battlefront II Coming To Switch

gamermole

I thought frostbite didn't run on the switch? Battlefront is frostbite isn't it? And it looks amazing too. They couldn't even get FIFA to run on switch as it is frostbite and would need a sizeable downscale.

I dread to think what battlefront would need doing to it to get it to run, plus I've played the beta and didn't enjoy it at all so no thank you EA.

Re: Reminder: Don't Forget This Week's Early Switch eShop Releases

@Mii_duck 1987 you say? That's exactly my year haha, 30 here with a gaming history spanning from the Atari 2600 right up to the switch, owned every console out since 1988 except for the virtual boy and Sega Saturn.

Thimbleweed park really peaked my interest, I know its nothing like it but i was hooked on a PC game called full throttle back in the day.

Steam world dig 2 looks great and I really enjoyed the first one (although the 2nd is premade kevels as apposed to randomly generated like in the original) if I'm correct? as for sonic mania, well that's just sonic of which I really like. I fear I may gave to buy all 3 along with odyssey,doom,skyrim and LA noire. This year is killing me as a gamer.

EDIT and dang I totally forgot about thumper

Re: Reminder: Don't Forget This Week's Early Switch eShop Releases

@electrolite77

Never a truer word spoken. i just prefer pes all round and always will.

the switch version is fantastic, just had my first game docked. ran great although the graphics do become slightly noticably worse (due to scaling) its still not bad at all and so far a great game.

@cmk8

haha a long time gamer i see. even on the n64 i preferred international superstar soccer. PES is simply king and always will be in my eyes.

Re: Review: FIFA 18 (Switch)

Im a pes player and have always preferred it over fifa. im buying pes this year also on my pc but ive bought fifa for the switch (on the go had me sold) and so far the game is holding up incredibly well.

a great experience so far and i hope the sales match the quality of the game.
