@Zeargo Thank you very much for that. i eventually ran from the lynel to return another day. glad to know i wont be wasting my time trying to tame that thing. theres still so much in this game for me to do. ive done the 4 beasts and lots of other stuff but im leaving ganon until the very end. i want to do all shrines and quests before i complete the final piece that is ganon. maybe collect the seeds too. at the moment im trying to build that new town up

WOW.... just wow. as im not using any guides im finding alot out on my own and i stumbled across mount satori 2 days ago and without looking at the map so i wasnt sure of its name. i was amazed by the beauty of this place... so much so that i set up fire and took a few screenshots while i sat in the trees for a good 10 minutes. i marked that spot on my map as its the most beautiful spot ive seen in the game so far. i then left that spot and it turned to night as i looked back i saw that strange green light above where i once was so i tried to go back but couldnt climb as it was raining so i left it knowing that i would be back. its great to see what will be waiting there when i return.

and just now realising that its name is satori mountain makes me wonder about satoru iwata and maybe thats why its such a tranquil place.

PS its possible to mount the Lynel too but i ran out of stamina trying this.

Re: GAME CEO Explains Why He Has So Much Confidence In Nintendo Switch

ahhhh GAME. if only you supported the gamecube when that was out. i would still be supporting you today.

But no, minimal shelf space, no advertisements and since the cube nintendo has never had a decent share of your stores. Your no better than EA. Oh look nintendo are succeeding lets finally advertise and promote this thing.

Good riddance

EDIT not to mention me having to buy the grey switch even though i preordered, I asked in store if they had any neon versions and they replied, Yes but we arent selling them.

Although i cant research this as im at work there are many cases where devs have stated they are unhappy, Many have gone on to say that they prefer developing alongside nintendo. with many games being exclusive to the eshop.

I know all companies have third party devs that are happy to be with each company i just get the feeling that nintendo are preferred. Ive watched many indie developer documentaries and spoken to many via twitter, discord etc.

As a guy who has always been into video game design and looking to create my own eventually. the indie side really interests me.

I will admit tho that nintendo didnt really start to treat the devs until late 2015/2016 so they were behind in that regard.

@Jaredfrogman

Well as it was me who started that thread i must be psychic joking we knew what the switch was fully on january the 12th this year we first saw the switch last year.

That thread is one of the most active on the official forum and i think it would benefit greatly from more posts asking for the game, feel free to start another and i will post in that but it may get closed down as there is already a switch thread on there.

This game would need cross platform play as i dont think you can base the whole online ranked system from switch users alone.

Im fully aware of the indie games on other consoles as i have the other consoles too.

Just ask how happy the devs are on the other platforms though. not very

When youve been gaming as long as i have you will remember the time it was mainly just Nintendo and Sega. now if you was to ask sega to drop all companies and pick just one they would take nintendo in a heart beat.

That means alot to somebody who only ever remembers them 2 being rivals.

In terms of catch up and third parties i believe sony and microsoft need these third parties more then nintendo. Even sony's first party studios are technically third party just bought out by sony. I dont believe theres any of sony's actual board or presidents making sony games? but i may be wrong.

I actually feel that nintendo have done a great job with other developers.

Theyve struggled ever since the nes days with studios fearing they cant reproduce nintendo quality games.

The difference now is we have indie developers who have genuine balls and will put their product on a nintendo platform up against nintendo and reap the rewards. Indies love the Nindie scene and rightly so.

Nintendo are winning over a few smaller 2nd party devs like platinum and the such but companies like EA will never feel at home on a nintendo console, to be fair if i was releasing the titles EA release i would be feeling a little on edge on a nintendo platform too. they just dont cut it. big budgets, false promises and nothing new.

Thats whats great about indies, low budgets but big imaginations, Some of these games are a real joy and give nintendo a run for their money.

Long live indie developers, and as far as companies that wait to see if theres money in it................... well your making games for all the wrong reasons.

@Snader Like i posted above you can always show your interest there.

Ive already bought RL twice and will happily buy it again on the switch. Theres no way this will be a full retail £60 game unless they included every single dlc and paint and even then i think it would top out at £40. im expecting this to cost £20 tops.

I agree we shouldnt have to plead for games but while we get the opportunity we may aswell. hopefully the strong install base of the switch will mean we no longer have to plead with third parties.
