To be fair i did state that i havent even held the switch. my score was based on what i know about the system but like i said hardware doesnt really sell a console for me its the games.
You know what, all this talk about not having enough news about this system hasnt been that bad. its kept my hype levels pretty low and now there building at just the right time. 2 days to go woooo
Ive got kerbal on my pc and its fun. I too will be getting rocket league if announced and i already own it on xbox one and steam haha, but whatever you do dont bump snipperclips down your list, that game looks fantastic.
As a guy who is currently dabbling in unreal engine i understand just how hard indie game making can be so i support any title i deem worthy. sure theres some dross out there but most are fantastic games.
The indie scene is such a great community too, i like how they all help eachother especially within the Nindie programs. i loved it when playing fast racing on the wiiu and driving past a billboard for steamworld heist aswell as seeing nindie characters unite in games such as runbow.
Indie games like Yooka laylee, Fast racing RMX, project cars, limbo, world of goo, Fez, firewatch, stardw valley, super meat boy, dont starve, braid, franbow, we happy few. steamworld dig, steamworld heist.
Im hoping to see rocket league in this broadcast, mainly because i want this game but also because it will prove nintendo has good intentions for their online service.
On the psyonix forums i was toying with the scenario of me being able to practice and train on the go using my switch and then when im at home playing using my steam account (or even switch) been able to practice whenever and wherever is a definite bonus.
How many indie games have you played? gone are the days of INDIE meaning poor. theres some real gems out there that should indeed be full retail games.
@MarioPhD From what the guys was saying they are only really interested in bringing rocket league if they can provide the full experience (mainly with cross platform play) if Nintendo allow cross platform play then i believe it will come to the switch. They have said the switch has no problem running the game whatsoever.
Ive been asking for this on the official psyonix forums for a while now and from the replies i have seen its looking promising although they havent said anything concrete yet.
It would be great to see a Gamecube VC joycon pack for £79.99 that comes with 2 joycon featuring analogue triggers and a download of a gamecube game of your choice.
I sure hope they release different variants of the joycon as i also want a left sided version featuring a D-Pad
I hope they address all the things listed in this article....... Im getting fast racing RMX, Snipperclips and world of goo at launch but it would also be nice to see some new titles announced.
I loved the Wii u version and will be buying this for sure, but after reading the interview. They state they thought to bring it to the switch at a meeting with NINTENDO, and that NINTENDO loved the game in Wii u.
If that's the case I'm actually disappointed Nintendo didn't ask shinen if they wanted to use the F-Zero IP.
Great video as always. I think I'm going to go for the neon and buy the neon double pack for a solid neon setup. Can you guys at Nintendo life clarify on this rumoured left joy-con disconnection rumor I keep hearing about. I hope it's not a problem that's been covered up until launch.
I'm getting this at launch. But mainly because I'm going to collect my switch at midnight and my younger bros will be coming over to my house to play the switch. It should be fun....... besides it's all we got other than bomberman at launch.
@Monkey_Balls I'm guessing the user account info is linked to the Nintendo network ID and not the user name. So I still have gamermole as my I'd but my switch name will be iwata_lives_on
Log into your Nintendo I'd and go to user info. Change id and it will ask to change password (just once) type a new one and then it will let you create a new profile name
Monkey balls from what I gather I had gamermole but changed it to iwata_lives_on I'm guessing now that has freed gamermole up for someone else I can go back to gamermole aslong as noone else is using it. Try take gamermole and let me know if you can
EDIT. Yes I can go back and forth between names and it doesn't say taken. But as soon as you change then your old name is available to anyone.
I've not played on the switch but I know 1,2 switch is one of the only games to actually use HD rumble. It's supposed to be very accurate for example there's a game where you hold the controller in your hand and tilt it to roll balls around in the controller ( using the HD rumble) the aim of the game is to guess how many balls are inside the joy-cons. There's also a safe cracking game where you turn a dial until it unlocks. Apparently you can feel the difference between the tiny clicks and an unlocking click
I was supposed to go to the event in birmingham but didnt as i wanted to wait to have the switch myself. i will be having a 1 2 switch party at mine come midnight on launch haha
"Can someone please tell me if Quick Draw is as anticlimactic as it appears. Is there a big noise from the console? Post-shot analysis? Is it tense? Can you miss altogether? Just looks a little flat is all."
From what ive seen. the console says fire and the first person to aim (correctly) and fire wins. after both shots have been made the screen then shows the angle of the shot and the timing of the shot. a shot too high or into the dirt will miss.
Brilliant news but is this starting afresh or will it be all of your existing downloads too? (3ds,wiiu) i sure hope so as ive purchased little inferno and fast racing on my old wiiu and i miss them.
I still have a bunch of old ONM (official nintendo magazine) mags at home. i started a thread where i go through each mag. only done issue one but i had tons of fun reading the old articles

Re: Feature: Snipperclips - Working With Nintendo To Create A Switch Co-Op Classic

From whats been announced so far im going to be broke this year.
Re: Feature: Five Things We Expect From the Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase
@Monkey_Balls
Very valid points although i feel the desync issue is more to do with the players hands blocking the bluetooth signal and not an actual desync.
Re: Feature: Five Things We Expect From the Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase
@MarioPhD
Come to think about it i dont know how RL would play using digital triggers instead of analogue.
Re: Feature: Five Things We Expect From the Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase
@Monkey_Balls May i ask your reasons?

Indie games like Yooka laylee, Fast racing RMX, project cars, limbo, world of goo, Fez, firewatch, stardw valley, super meat boy, dont starve, braid, franbow, we happy few. steamworld dig, steamworld heist.
All deserve AAA status.

@Turbo857 if your used to motion then fair play. I just remember fast racing been hard with motion control
Re: Feature: FAST RMX - The Price, Modes and Performance of Switch's Futuristic Racer
@Turbo857 motion is really hard in this game. Intact the game is hard in general
