I'm going to sell my 3ds and Xbox one tomorrow and use that money for the switch...... That plus saving 100 a month should give me at least 900 for the NS plus games. Who knows I mite even beef up my PC too.

@Aneira can I ask why you won't buy a Sony console? As I too never keep them. I buy them just for the metal gear solid franchise but I always sell them as I hate the company as a whole

@Aneira Dreamcast is the only Sega console I own. And what a fantastic one. I loved it. So many great games. Still hope for the last chapter of Shenmue

Shenmue 3 is been made for ps4 if im correct. although they should release a dreamcast version for old times sake haha.

No, the screen is the same size but the wii u gamepad is 10.2 inches in length and 5.3 inches high.

the NS on the other hand is 9 inches in length and 4 inches in height

@Aneira I agree that Nintendo can do wonders with that amount of power. Zelda does look good. But the importance lie with with the 3rd parties who needs to work the same wonders. That's the big unknown so far.

Did you own a Wiiu? alot of third party devs was giving nintendo praise for helping them get the most from the system, with many devs stating that nintendo was always just a phone call away.

@Aneira If the scale difference becomes the same as that of the 360 over the years for NS, I'd be very pleased. You're right that it's way too early to declare what NS can do graphically. However... there's a lot of talk of it being close to Xbox One, which is nowhere to be seen at all. That's the biggest concern. If it is that close they should have showed at least something that proves it. For the time being I will remain worried until the opposite is proven.

Youre quite correct and anyone who is expecting xbox one is probably fooling themselves. all i know is that its probably more powerful than the 360 and ps3 and i know nintendo can do wonders with that amount of power. In a portable device it will look amazing.

Well to kick things off im actually 30 but fair play on guessing my age you was close enough.

And the reason i chose perfect dark wasnt at all to show the consoles weakness, The reason i chose that is because it was a launch game and im comparing it to another launch game all be it not even a completed launch game.

Even more to the point you compared the NS to an 11 year old console hence the reason i chose an 11 year old game. or am i to choose the mose tecent xbox 30 game therefore meaning your comparing it to a console that still has games coming out right now?

@rjejr referring to the screen been too big for a headset. you do realise that the screen is only 6.2 inches. phones are been used for VR with very similar sized screens

@yomanation yeah i know they wont be actual console specs i was just lettign people know the DEV specs and yes i know its pascal that runs the latest cards im just hoping the switch uses x2 or atleast a slightly less powerful custom one

@Anti-Matter Im guessing nintento will include the 32gb storage as its cheap and they wil lallow expandable via SD just like with the wiiu.

Nintendo them selves have said that they dont do large storage on their consoles as it adds alot of money to the final price and its so much cheaper for customers to use their own storage.

For example 500gb harddrive costs around 40 quid but for nintendo to put that in the console it will add 70 quid price to the console

Looks pretty weak to be fair, but thats basing off the actual console featuring the same tegra x1 chip, but rumors state that the NS will be using the tegra x2 chip and the only reason its not in the dev kits is because Nvidia hasnt passed the chip yet.

And although there only rumors i believe one part to be true (the screen size) is infact 6.2-6.5 inch

And anyone worried about power only has to play super mario galaxy 2 for the wii. a subpar console with 480p resolution and that game looks better than most xbox 360 games. Nintendo know what they are doing and squeeze the very most out of every graphics chip they use.... lets hope third parties can too (with nintendos help ofcourse)
