@MightyKrypto I see where your coming from I just disagree but then again I am a gamer who owns a Wii u and no ps4 or Xbox one as of yet.

In terms of how you explained it there it may be the third choice but if somebody has bought a console already then that puts nintendo in the position of either been the first choice of console just bought or now the second..... I suppose the scenario changes based on what situation the customer is in.

@MightyKrypto I know people don't buy all 3...... Making nintendo the second choice why would anybody buy a ps4 then an xbox one??? I will try explain this way ..... Most people own this set up

1st. Ps4..........Xbox one......... Pc.
2nd. Wii u.......... Wii u.............. Wii u

Nobody buys this set up

1st. Ps4..............Xbox one.................. Pc.
2nd. Xbox one.........Ps4.............. Xbox one
3rd. Pc.....................Pc...........................Ps4
4th. Wii u...............Wii u........................Wii u

For example lets say there was only 100 people on earth...... 20 of them buy no consoles or pc... 30 of them buy pc....20 buy ps4 and 20 buy Xbox one that leaves only 10 buy Wii u ...... Now just because Wii u is the third worst selling console that means nothing all that means is 20 own a ps4 and 20 own a Xbox one and only 5 of them went on to buy a Wii u along with 5 who bought it originally .... It's the second choice for almost everybody not the third .. Not at all

@MightyKrypto you want graphical power you get a pc........ you want great games and gameplay you can't get anywhere else you go nintendo, It's that simple ....... if you want to get a console to brag about graphical power even though there's more power out there you go ps4 or xboxone. Each to their own all I know is if a guy is bragging about the size of his junk he is probably not packing much.

@MightyKrypto not at all in fact it's incorrect...... The gamers who bought ps4 buy the wii u as their second console if they even buy a second console and same for those who bought xbox one..... Nobody in their right mind buy a ps4 then an xbox one to play basically the same games and then get a Wii u third in fact nintendo are most gamers second choice especially within the pc gaming community.

I stopped reading at the words DAMAGE CONTROL..... Such a shame you used that term just 7 words in, it looks like this mite have made for an interesting read otherwise.

@Ryno you obviously havent played a game using a dpad, analogue stick, rumble pack, touch screen, motion controls....... Or played games like PlayStation all stars battle royale, lbp kart racer.... Your right no company in their right mind would use any of that.

@liveswired I'm sorry but I disagree, the gamepad display looks great already, just as good if not better than my tv display. And I would really hate to draw on a resistive screen, I love art academy so the stylus and captive screen are perfect for me, drawing on a resistive screen is just bad. Not to mention the cost.

How does vr work for somebody like me who can only see from one eye? Does it work or not if not I will be avoiding vr like I do with 3d
