Is this meant to be a standalone device, or does it need internet connection to stream games?

I'm definitely not a fan of the game key method here, but at least it seems that it will allow you to lend a physical game to others and they can download the extra data to play as many times as you want. I can still sell this if I tire of a game.

With code-in-box games, those are single use, and would require you to do the whole game share lending way.

Besides, this is what they've been doing on the Switch 1 for years with the game compilations, where only one game is on the card and the other has to be downloaded in an update. They just gave it a snappy new name.

I would like to be able to search the DLC for games that I own.

As long as it still has motion options, that's great. Then I can still play it on the go, just like Odyssey and 3D All Stars.

@Dm9982 I definitely like the idea of an anti-tera type move to make it strategic on when you transform.

I predict it'll be a super effective move against an opponent, or possibly that it randomly pulls type from other learned moves (like Sleep Talk). Based on absolutely no sources whatsoever.

When it was revealed, Gameloft announced it as a free to play title with early access, claiming it would be free to play in 2023.

Surprised that it's becoming free before Dreamlight Valley, but no complaints.

I'm interested in both of them, but announcing that they will be free dissuaded me from paying for either of them.

Haven't played her in awhile since they sadly removed freeze, but I've been enjoying Sojourn a lot in her stead.

I'm curious if this game has mixed multiplayer like Overcooked 2, where multiple people can be on one system and play online with multiple people on other consoles.

I always hate it when games like Smash bros limit online multiplayer to one people per system.

Honestly it's the DLCs that are making it for me. I want to own a lot of these, but I love the idea of trying things I may not normally buy originally.

Even the way Nintendo allows the new Mario Kart tracks to be played online for free is pretty pro-consumer, by not segregating half the player base into different lobbies.

Back to the Animal Crossing grind between matches of Turf War in Splatoon 3 and Overwatch 2.

Glad they put Assault mode maps in the Arcade so I can still play them.

Some of the benefits are how they reorganized the open and team queues, so you can still get some of that classic OW1 action before role queues began.

Enjoying the new heroes, but only playing because they retracted their phone number requirement.

This is a phenomenal series that I got into way too late, but that did bless me with the ability to buy them all as soon as I needed to experience another.

Sadly the prices went up for some of the 3DS games, but I either saved or waited til they were on sale. I can only hope they do a compilation some day on a new system and draw a crowd back.

Over the Alps deserves some recognition in my opinion. I've also been very curious about "Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator" if anyone has opinions on that.

@Immovablegamer6669 mostly Megaman but with different movement mechanics. Unlike Megaman, my deaths never felt cheap and I felt like I always had control of my character.

Well that's a shame. That was my favorite mode. Well, at least OW2 will get me back into the game. Hoping for more new heroes.

I think I remember them working on the world design for BOTW, which was phenomenal. Hope they keep up the good work.

Wii, and I miss its automatic drift option. It didn't provide a boost or benefit to others, but was so helpful in allowing inexperienced or new players to play with confidence.

@BenAV I agree, I kept trying to make our 2 player team's percentage the highest, so I would go capture the other team's area for a victory. Only figured it out once us attackers won and I saw we shared the victory.

I'm not sure if this is the game for me. But I do appreciate the use of pokemon that aren't everywhere in other media, like Dodrio, Crustle, and Eldegoss.

Ocarina 3D. There is absolutely no reason it couldn't have been any of the other Zelda titles, I just waited years to try them I suppose. Man, was I blown away. Even after hearing the game was #1 on some Best Games of All Time lists, it still did not disappoint.

I know Sword and Shield will get some debate it was too bland. It was honestly what I wanted in a game. After not having finished a game since Gen 3 and 6, I just wanted a game about fun exploration and beating the bad guys, and not about is humanity the real monsters all along. I have Kirby for the latter.

It is interesting to note that Ninty is experimental with Kirby, that I think a side project there would be a game as a service first. Super Kirby Clash is F2P already and Dream Buffet seems like it could have been (it is also a very fun time).

I love content updates but prefer an experience where games aren't trying to upsell you every single second. I stopped playing Street Fighter V because of the ads hampering my enjoyment.

Good. I'm great against CPU but not online players, so maybe some more lower rank peoppe can join and have an evenly ranked sparring match.
