If you're a fan of detective games, then chances are you've caught a peek at The Séance of Blake Manor. Released in 2025 from developer Spooky Doorway (The Darkside Detective), it was critically-acclaimed for its haunting atmosphere and expertly-crafted mystery. Oh, and it's now coming to Switch 2 – huzzah!

Launching on 28th October 2026 for £16.75, the game is available for pre-order now via the Switch 2 eShop (thanks for the spot, Nintendo Everything). There's unfortunately no indication that Switch 2 players will benefit from mouse mode or anything, but that's not to say it definitely won't be supported – it's just not mentioned on the eShop page.

We're huge fans of The Darkside Detective here at NL Towers, and given the universally-positive reception directed toward The Séance of Blake Manor since its initial launch, you can bet we'll be downloading this one as soon as humanly possible.

Let's check out a brief official description from the publisher Raw Fury:

"The Séance of Blake Manor is a supernatural detective mystery set in 1897 Ireland, where you investigate the disappearance of Evelyn Deane in a remote hotel full of secrets and other-worldly occurrences.
As Private Investigator Declan Ward, you’ll interview and interrogate an eclectic group of suspects to learn more about their motivations and unearth any clues they may be hiding.

"Record the details in Declan’s journal, then use your findings to uncover the truth about Blake Manor and the mysterious séance that has brought these unusual guests together."
