so expensive! I shouldn't have splurged on the messenger bag, tote bag, Kirby patches, towel, fan, and 3 damn pins!! The sad thing is that I bought my third pin like a month ago and if I hadn't bought that, I would still have that 450 coins which added to the 1000 in there now, would make me able to obtain this awsome reward! Hopefully it is still available 46 days from now when I reel in my 3DS with Pilotwings and Nintendogs. Surely that would put me over the edge.....BTW, how much do you guys think 3DS games will fetch on Club Nintendo? I'm thinking 40 coins each.

@29: What!!! Don't even say that!! If Capcom ever sunk....I wouldn't know what to do! They are BY FAR by favorite 3rd party developer. This is very sad news indeed. Although their recent efforts have been sort of meh, they will still be missed. I certainly hope we will see another Mario Party somewhere in the future in spite of this event...

I second that plea from Sonic1994CD! I would die if they released N64 Animal Crossing on the VC all translated and everything. It would probably run 1500 points since that would be A LOT of translation but I would definitely buy it. C'mon Nintendo! Let's go!!

Well I certainly hope that the mystery gift option is usable before beating the game. I don't wanna be rushed through the game just to make a deadline to get a Pokemon which will likely never be given away again...

I'm actually really interested in seeing more on the Pucca game. Looks like it could actually be a sleeper hit.

@Koops: Shhhhhhhh!! They'll here you you! Anyway, I really really like how this game looks to be shaping up. There is still quite a bit I still need to know about it but from what I've seen it looks awesome. I'll almost certainly get this when it is released. When will that be exactly? I mean the 3DS IS out in like 8 weeks so....the DSi doesn't really have long.....

It looks surprisingly....quite inventive and fun. This could be an unexpected hit when it comes out. unfortunately it has just as good a chance to be a broken, horrid mess. I'm hoping for the former!

@RantingThespian: I think you mis understood me. I found BEAT and CORE to be good, just not the masterpieces NL seemed to think they were. The only BT game I thought was truly quite poor was VOID. The gameplay was just very uncreative and boring. Anyway, I'll still buy this even though I didn't love BEAT. What can I say, I'm a sucker for owning a full series of anything

I really feel a bit let down that they are finishing with what is essentially BEAT with a new paint job. I felt that the first 3 BT games were nothing special and even quite bad in VOID's case. Things definitely improved with RUNNER and FATE and I thought that the series would end strong after those. I AM.......disappointed.

I just remembered, Epic Yarn isn't really a Kirby game. It didn't start as a Kirby game and was never intended to be one until Nintendo asked Good Feel if they wanted to put Kirby into their new game. This game was likely supposed to be Kirby's real return to consoles. I can't wait for the first "true" console Kirby game in a decade!

I honestly did not expect this at all. I though that mysterious new DS Kirby game was gonna be the last we hears from Kirby in some time. I guess 2011 is shaping up to be a great year for Kirby! Anyway, that very tiny video looked fantastic. I recognize a few new Kirby transformations there and some really smooth design. I love that this appears to be putting a focus on Kirby's inhaling ability. It appears that the more you consume in a single inhale, the bigger the star projectile you spit up. I can't ait to see more. Oh and New Rhythm Heaven? Yes please!!

I was already sold on this game but that new trailer....Wow!! Now There is no doubt in my mind I will be buying this! It looks like something that will frustrate me badly in later levels but that's ok. Some of my favorite games of all time made me wanna smash the console to bits Anyway, I second that this LOOKS like it could be in the Art Style series but.....IDK, Art Style games are more than aesthetics. Their gameplay is very simple yet complex at the same time. We'll see if this lives up to the Art Style games!

That's good news but.....I'm afraid I probably won't be buying this for a long, long time. I bought DodoGo! Challenge and cannot really play it yet because it uses tools that I haven't reached yet in the first game. So I suppose after I get around to finishing the first 2 games, I'll pick this one up. Its sure to be fantastic like the others

Just realized I never made a price prediction. Guess I just don't really care how much its gonna be. Nintendo could make a really oddball move and price it at 400 and I know that I would still buy on launch! Anyway, I'm pretty sure its gonna be 250 dollars.

Well there are only 4 dates it could possiblly be: March 6, 13, 20, or 27. I really REALLY hope for March 6th but would settle for March 13th I know that Black and White are coming on the 6th but I actually think 3DS still has a chance to come out that day. Black and White obviously don't need any help selling but they could still get a boost from all the people that will be in the store getting their new 3DS systems. I try to convince myself that it must be coming in early March but I just know its gonna be March 27th

I was just casually reading this not really intending on buying until the reviewer compared it to the Art Style series. Now i'm interested! I have to know though, is it REALLY like an Art Style game without "Art Style" in the title? Like where would you rank this in relation to the other DSiWare Art Style games?

Wow! When I first heard about this I was kind of meh. I assumed since it looks like one of the most graphically imppressive games, it would be at a high price point. Plus I'm not really into tower defense. But now with a 200 point price and the fact that I love this Studio's last 2 DSiWare games, I think I was just oersuaded to buy this! Even if I hate it its just 2 dollars wasted. Odenis must be paying attention to the DSiWare top 20 and realizing the only games that usually stay up there for a while are 200 pointers. Excellent job Odenis! You're quickly becoming one of my favorite developers!

Exactly. I hate that some people blow this out of proportion like the device is gonna fail because children under 6 absolutely, definitely, under no circumstances can play the 3DS. Its just Nintendo covering themselves legally for that ONE kid that's gonna get some problem and have it possibly related to the 3DS. Glad this is being watered down a bit.

@James: I do believe I read somewhere (don't remember where) that the parental controls do include control of the 3D slider. Its possible I was mis-informed but I'm quite sure of this info. It would be quite smart of Nintendo to include it.

I'll be getting each of the shiny beasts. I'm not gonna be left out of a shiny distribution as well as a special Pokemon distribution. That would be quite sad to miss this and start Pokemon Black on the wrong foot.

@bro2dragons: I was seriously seriously considering 999 as I absolutely loved that game to pieces. But in the end, it is "game" of the year and Layton really is just more of a game and just more well-rounded all around. If I was going 100 percent on plot and story telling, my vote would have gone to 999.

@luke17: I agree. Wiiware as well as DSiWare need their own catagory since there are very few games on either service that could go toe to toe with a retail product.

I somewhat agree with TheNewestBooM. The first 3 Bit Trip games were quite meh to me but I stuck with them anyway. RUNNNER and FATE after them were fantastic and I was happy the series was finally picking up for me. Now news like this.....makes me not so happy. It looks like it has more in common with the first 3 than the last 2. And I am getting a little tirewd of all the praise because this series is just a smidge overrated by many folks here. Unfortunately, I will very likely be getting this on launch because I have the first 5 and would want the whole series.

Well if that is truly all it is, this will have to be the first Bit Trip I don't buy. I wasn't exactly crazy about BEAT and that ESRB description is pretty much exactly describing BEAT.....the must be more to this game than that....

I really enjoyed AiRace and liked AiRace Tunnel well enough. Hopefully this turns out good. If they use DS Download Play for multi-player (A criminally under-used feature in DSiWare games), then I will almost definitely buy it!

CRAP!! When I calculated all the money I'll need for Wii/DS games leading into March as well as the 3DS and 3-4 launch titles I completely forgot about Pokemon Black and White coming out! Oh well, off to ebay! I hate to say it, but I might be going with the Oshawott for my starter. I hate the look of Oshawott but I like the final evolution so yeah. My interest in Tepig was completely crushed as soon as I saw the final evolution.

I'm definitely picking up DodoGo! I loved the first one. The production values were so high and the gameplay so varied! I could never understand why neither title got much praise from NL. I've always considered DodoGo one of the best DSiWare titles...

My Nintendo moment was easily seeing Mr. Iwata reveal the 3DS to the world for the first time! That was just amazing!

Well, I remember the year i got the N64. I was so excited even though the thing wasn't exactly a new console at that time. As I sat there mesmerized with Mario 64, my dad came down the stairs holding a brand new Dreamcast with Sonic Adventure! It was amazing! And then there was the year that the Wii came out. My dad had failed to get one at launch and my chances of getting it that year were looking grim. On christmas I got an Xbox 360 from my dad. I was happy don't get me wrong but I'm not exactly a fan of Xbox and felt that was the nail in the coffin of me not getting a Wii that year. But then! My mom had apparently secretly snatched a Wii of of Ebay and gave it to me shortly after I got the 360. That was by far the best Christmas ever. The only Christmas that could top it would be one where I get the 3DS. That will of course never happen though as I'm getting it myself on March when it comes out.

Well, the answer is indeed the 40MB limit. They say that they would have to really butcher the game and it would turn out crappy so they just decided to scrap it. Very sad day indeed. But, I had an idea, would anyone mind if they released it as an episodic thing> like 3 seperate episodes for like 500 points each or something? I think that is a very good compromise.

@Aviator: How so? They were more than capable of putting it on Wiiware. I understand the size limits and that the whole game very likely couldn't be moved over within those restraints but they could have put out SOMETHING! That would be better than this!

And another thing, How the hell are they gonna have Commander Video as a playable character but not have the damn game on the download service where that character was created!?!? I hate you now Team Meat! I hate every part of you! You and whoever is making Retro City Rampage. And as long as we're on the subject, I hate EA for the NBA Jam thing among other things...
